Space, the great empty void. It is funny how it can be so empty and yet full of wonder and adventure at the same time. So still, so silent.....then a large concussion wave bumped everything. Space itself seemed to ripple for a second, and then everything was still, as if nothing had happened. Most normal beings felt it and barely took notice. Some of the more powerful beings however, felt the shake and paid a bit more attention.
Five galactic diameters from the edge of one of the galaxies, a light appeared in space. It began to expand into a silver-edged hole, until it was about 1/5 of a galactic diameter wide....

This RP in now open to the masses! Put a character sheet into the OOC if you want to join. Any questions feel free to PM me or Steamchat me if we are friends.

This is an epic level RP designed with Mallis and Sairei in mind. This is the RP where your epic character can stretch their legs and do stuff without having the dreaded "Overpowered" called on you. You can have either a technology character or a magic/psionic/controller character (there is a difference), but if you use technology, you had better have some pretty good ideas and know generally how they work, same thing goes for fantasy characters. However this also means that things are more hardcore. Read my posts and look for clues, because they will be there. If I message you a question about your character, do not take it lightly.


Rules:

1) Everyone does not have to be in the same group, in fact they can travel alone. However, since all of your character's existence is threatened by what happened in the opening scene, your characters have generally the same goal.

2) All characters start in the same galaxy (named Allamera). Characters must start on adjacent star systems. If your character doesn't live on a planet, they must be in the somewhat-nearby area (PM me for cases like this).

3) Keep it to a maximum of 3 characters initially. One would be nice.

4) Characters can be killed.

5) Due to the power level of the characters (>9000), "Mary-suing" virtually doesn't exist. Keep in mind powers have inherent weaknesses however, and I am good at finding them. Being inventive is with your powers is encouraged.

6) Autoing attacks are allowed only if there is a very good reason that they would hit no matter what. The target character's controller is allowed a chance to say why the attack wouldn't have hit if their is a good reason, and what the character's reaction is. Please put the word "spleen" in all capitals in the Other section of the character sheet.

7) Keep cursing to a minimum. I don't care if your character curses in a foreign/alien language, although try to avoid Spanish. No flaming or trolling either.

8 ) Original characters only. You will have to provide a character sheet for each character.

9) Any texting lingo or language that makes me question just how old you really are will result in your character(s) being killed and you being exiled from the RP. I might also refer you to grade school.

10) The Gamemaster is the ultimate authority and final word on things. Bring any problems to me. This should be obvious.

Species: Dark Vortex Dragon

Personality: Somewhat negative, as she has a distressing past and can't help but point out the bad side of everything. She is sarcastic, snarky, and not afraid to back down from a fight. She has a deep hatred for creatures of flame (like elementals), and will attack such things first and ask questions later. Despite her outward hostility, once you get to know her she's quite the companion. She will never leave a friend behind, and will do whatever it takes to keep them safe. She has a soft, wise side that shows itself every once in a blue moon.
Occasionally Sairei suffers from bouts of depression, which can leave her suicidal.
Sairei suffers from a deep loneliness. She would care dearly for the company of someone who wouldn't die in her presence. (see abilities)

Equipment: Sairei's scales are naturally as hard as diamond, if not harder. She is also equipped with four sets of claws, and a sharp barb on her tail. And teeth. Let us not forget teeth.

Powers: I could go on and on in this. ._. I'll try to keep it simple.
Basically, Sairei is a Fate. She is THE Fate in the universe she comes from, but she has found that in other universes, there are others. This basically allows her to do whatever she wants, under a few restrictions of course...
She is not allowed to alter the timeline. No time travelling for Sairei.
She is not allowed to rip anyone from reality unless the circumstances permit that someone else can appear in their place.
Besides her Fate powers -which she often just ignores as she finds them boring- Sairei has a few more dragon-like qualities.
Sairei does breath fire. However, since she dwells in space most of the time, it is unlike any fire you would ever imagine. It does not appear as fire, but it is about as close of an accurate description I can give you.
Also, it's silver. And it can melt through practically everything, if not just incinerating it on the spot.
Sairei can also create miniature black holes wherever she wishes. She basically uses these as trashcans for undesirables.
Sairei can also call down an azure lighting from within herself. It does damage against magical enemies only, leaving those who do not use magic unharmed.

NOTE - Planetside, Sairei's magical (non-Fate) powers are weakened slightly.
*--She has trouble flying, due to being accustomed to the weightlessness of Space.
*--She could accidentally destroy a planet by accident, thus making her extra cautious.

--I also have a thing I could add about Darkness and how it affects her, but I'll leave that out for spoiler reasons--

Abilities: Sairei has a few abilities that she cannot control. Number one being her Aura. Sairei's Aura slowly kills anything living, and is so powerful that it can corrupt entire planets if she stays on them too long. Because of this, mortals tend to sicken and die in her presence. This process can take weeks, or days. It depends on the life form, and on if Sairei is consciously putting energy into her Aura.
...This makes her terribly lonely, as most of the friends she's had have died because of her.
The effects of the Aura DO wear off if Sairei can leave the planet.

Name: Farlane Ovewat

Gender: Male

Species: Sentin

Appearance: Farlane is a tall pale skinned individual. He stands seven feet and two inches tall. For his kind, he is rather short. Farlane's hair is short and gray, although he's fairly young for his species; they usually live to be around three hundred years old. His eyes are also gray. As for his clothes, he wears a gray and pale brown striped turtleneck sweater, and if it gets even colder, he has a gray coat, along with dull dark gray pants. If you haven't noticed yet, Farlane loves the color gray. He's usually found with a cigarette in his mouth. Farlane requires glasses to read, thus he usually has them on.

Eh, I think Akai, while more powerful, wouldn't be all that much fun to play here.  Kmmph now I have Zallie in two rps.  Well whatever, in this one he'll actually be a god :3

Name: Zal-Tek

Gender: Male

Species: Drake, basically, but I suppose god could be considered a species too.

Appearance: Zal-Tek is one of the physically smallest gods of Arcan, standing slightly shorter than a person at the shoulders, though he is much longer than he is tall.  He has pale brownish yellow scales, with sharp spikes running down his back and three blunt, curved horns on each side of his head.  He has a forked tongue and sharp teeth and claws.  His eyes are pupiless and glow faintly, the right one being red and the left being gold.  He has an especially long, thin tail.

Personality: Where to start...  Zal-Tek is, on the outside, friendly.  Assuming you've never heard of him before.  If you have, you know that he is in fact manipulative.  He may have some real friends, but just because you think you are one doesn't mean it's true.  If he does genuinely warm up to someone, he will do all he can to keep them safe, and his top priority is to never betray or lie to someone he actually likes.  There is a reason for this, but it's a long story.

He has a strange sense of justice and making the world a better place.  Instead of preaching goodness like Akai, he goes about quietly helping those with less, usually by stealing from those with more, though he doesn't base this solely on wealth.  If someone is rich, but is already doing what they can to help others, they are generally left alone.  However, if Zal-Tek is patrolling the streets of a city (in disguise, of course) and, say, someone tries to rob him, he will kindly give them money.  Said person will later turn up dead.  And the money?  Somehow it either vanishes or returns to Zal-Tek.

Equipment: Zal-Tek rarely carries around anything at all, when he's in Arcan he can easily return home and get anything he might need at any time, and besides that he can conjure some small items anyways.  Specific things he can bring to him are predetermined, and one is mentioned below.

Powers: Zal-Tek has an interesting sort of pseudo-hypnotism ability, which doesn't affect people very much, simply sways them to agree with him, among other things.  He doesn't use this much though, and usually takes having to as a loss.  Instead he uses his words and intelligence to convince people to do, well, just about anything, within reason.  You'd be surprised what one can do by pulling lightly at the strings.

He can also conjure small items, as mentioned before, and a few specific things that he keeps in his house, tuned to him so that he can bring them to him.  Most notably he can create fake currency of any kind, which happen to disappear in about a day, and are sometimes cursed.  His main specific object he can bring to him at will was not actually created by him, but is a single black scale on a cord with some very powerful enchantments on it.  He doesn't tend to use it much, but it gives him several powers that don't entirely belong to him.  Usually he keeps it around his neck after conjuring it, since he can't send it back, and it is a reminder of his 'brother,' among other things.

The last main ability he has is disguising himself.  He cannot use most of his powers when disguised, and simply looks like a mortal, dark brown, furry drake, though keeping the oddly colored eyes.  He cannot fly in either form, but with a little extra effort he can disguise as a brown swan sort of thing with a snake tail, and it does allow him to fly.  This is more difficult for him, though, so he tries to avoid it.

Abilities: As a drake, Zal-Tek is very fast, agile, and can climb better than a cat of similar size.  He can jump fairly high too.  He does not, however, have the usual type of emanation magic for drakes, which means he actually has no element.  He has sharp claws and teeth, as mentioned before, and can use his tail either as a whip or to choke.  He is sometimes known to use a tail blade, despite it being a weapon mainly meant for raptors, but he is far from a master with it, and doesn't have one he can easily conjure anyway.

Other: SPLEEN!  ...mmm that's it XD

Name: Veriska

Gender: Feminine.

Species: Dark entity.

Appearance: Veriska chooses to appear as a female clad in a tattered purple dress and a cloak that fades into shadows. She stands 5'7" and has a deathly white, toned flawless body. From under her cloak she has sleek long black hair, those looking into her eyes only see darkness.

Personality: Veriska has a cold demeanor and cares little for anyone. She will do anything for her personal gain, especially if it involves deceit or treading on the weak. She scoffs at honor and treats the righteous with disdain. However in situation of mutual interest Veriska makes a powerful ally.

Equipment: Conjured armor, weapons and implements.

Powers: Veriska is the embodiment of deception, the dark, fear, hatred, emptiness and the like. (dark energy, spectral energy, shadows, cold, fear ect.)

Abilities: Embodiment (Veriska doesn't merely manipulate her powers, she is one with them. For example she doesn't imitate the shadows, she is the shadows. Also the natural presence of anything that she has jurisdiction over makes her stronger. This includes the negative emotions of others. Anyone who is afraid, angry, sad ect. is incapable of defending from Veriska's mind powers.)

Sar, the idea is for you to get past the Eradicators, who are the current antagonists. I play all the villains and that's it.

The new guy(Veriska) is the first GM from The Game who I invited to play with us.

The name and personality was inspired from homestuck, surprised you know what that is. And I'll change to past tense.

Canis yknow it would be great if your IC post included an actual reaction to Zal-Tek, considering he's trying to fight something you are controlling.

My character is out of the picture for the moment, so I will not be posting for a while.

Name: Mallis

Gender: Male/It

Species: Immortal

Appearance: Mallis has a shadowy form. He is normally tall, slim and his body is made entirely of black slime and black vapors that shriek souls. He has long arms with claws and his head is different. His head has a cobra-like, mushroom-like, hood-like shape. He has purple eyes that are bright and evil. From the waist down he can have tentacles, legs, smoke, or just about anything. But usually its a cloak-like appearance or tentacles. He has blackish purple fangs and a dark and evil voice. He can shift height to practically anything and his weight changes by what he's currently taking the form of.

Personality: Cruel, dangerous. Evil. Torturous. These are words that describe Mallis. He at times can be very charismatic, but when he is angry he goes into full force blood-craving animal. Ever since he was corroded by The Darkness, he has been unable to feel real affection for nearly anything. The only thing he is known to have the slightest feelings for is his "daughter" who is an Allure and is named Dalia. Though she is not his true daughter since she was stolen from her real parents by Mallis when she was an infant and raised by this monster in a chain of abandoned towers. She deserted him when she discovered his evil at the age of seventeen.

Equipment: Mallis finds most weapons to be weak and does not use them. He relies on his magical powers however he does use a cursed staff with a glowing purple crystal on it at times.

Powers: There is literally an endless list of his powers. But I'll put it in short. Mallis can basically conjure evil spells that he uses to attack his enemies. Most of these are similar to a bolt of magical lightning, a pulse, a flare of fire, a spout of water, a blast of Darkness, ect.

Abilities: Mallis is practically immune to damage done by mortal weapons. Due to his liquidy, gaseous form he is not harmed by things like swords or arrows (unless the weapon is enhanced with magical properties). However Mallis is greatly vulnerable to magical attacks and powerful elemental forces like fire or water. He is also vulnerable to things that can scientifically alter his form like extreme freezing, boiling, etc.
