Name: Nick Slater

Nickname/Alias: Q

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Height: 5'9

Weight: 163lb

Appearance

Hair Color: Black

Eye Color: Yellow

Ethnicity: Caucasian (Australian/American)

Physical Appearance:
His dad was an Australian immigrant and he has grown up with his Australian father, giving him a strange accent mix between American and Aussie. He has bright yellow eyes and long dark black hair that reaches down to the bridge of his noes. He normally just flicks his hair to the side in order to keep his vision of the world around him good. His face is thin and ends with a slight butt chin. He stands at a respectable 5'9 and weighs around 160 pounds. Making him have a solid build without being bulky. Normally, he has regularly shaped eyes with yellow irises surrounded by the white exterior of the eye. He has a small scar that runs through his left eyebrow, splitting it. Why he has the scar he will not say. He has any athletic build, more in the cardiovascular way (he looks more like a swimmer or runner than anything else). He is more muscled than he was in Black Fall due to Caden.

Attire:
Blue, slightly baggy jeans and a green minecraft creeper shirt (which is interchanged with a plain white shirt). He'll usually also have a purple hoodie over it. His hoodie is now being interchanged with a dark blue hoodie. He has contacts that make his eyes a chocolate brown as yellow eyes are a strange thing to see. He also wears a pair of new black and blue DC shoes. Fingerless gloves are also a common thing to go with his attire. A white watch adorns his left wrist. His shark tooth necklace is almost always around his neck.

Personality:

Innate Personality: About what he can do about his powers. Why he has them. How did they get there? Are there others like them? Hey, is that a friend online? Let's see if he wants to play some Black Ops Zombies. His attention span is rather short, but it's been enough to get him through school so far. He often wonders about how many others there are like him more than anything else. His words around strangers are carefully chosen and his sentences are short. It's very strange, because his personality does a complete 180 around friends that he trusts. He's louder and speaks more freely around them. He once had a friend who taught him a lot about bursting potential and power classes for meta humans.

Outward Personality:
Most would see him as dense and impulsive. He is dense, yes. But he is not nearly as impulsive as what others would think. But I digress. He shows great interest in reptilian animals, especially Snakes and raptors. In his home he will more often than not be seen with his Ball Python, Monty, around his shoulders.

Hobbies/Interests: Setting things on fire. Skating ( He's decent at best), Raptors, Any cold blooded animal, Bursting potential.

Skills/Talents: Well, he's pretty good at falling? He also likes to play the guitar although he's not very good at it (he's better than he was in Black Fall, as he's a year older now). One of his favorite pass times in to just sit down and play on a DS or PS Vita or on a console. He doesn't have a computer. As a teenager he has several other hobbies he has other than just being an idiot. The most notable would probably be his habit of messing around in the garage he works at in his spare time to make little contraptions suck as a small catapult or a small robot.

Goals: He wants to be the very best (Da-da da!), like no one ever was! (Da-da dada!) To find them all is his real test and to train with them is his cause! (Da da dada!) He will travel across the land (Da-da da), searching far and wide. (Da da dada) To help them understand, the bursts that are inside!

History/Bio:
Shortly after he was born in a small town in Florida, Nick's mother disappeared from the family. What caused this and why is completely unknown to him because he was to young to remember. Whenever he asks his father about the fact he always avoids the subject or changes it. As he grew up, his dad brought him home a Ball Python and a terrarium with the necessary supplies for his eleventh birthday. It was his first BIG birthday present. By this time he knew of his powers, and so did his dad. They moved to Black Fall on Nick's 12th birthday for his father's job, which was being in the airforce. Because of this, Nick has been home alone a great deal after he turned thirteen, the longest he has been alone was a week without his dad sending SOMEONE to check up on him.

Favorite color:

Prized Possession: A shark tooth necklace with a very nice sized Mako Shark tooth at the end of it.

Relationships

Family:
Father- Fading Relationship
Mother- N/A
Siblings- N/A

His grandparents and Aunts/Uncles are of relative plot insignificance. Maybe he'll do something his grandfather taught him how to do, but otherwise that's about it. In which case would probably be tying a knot or something or using a knife effectively.

Friends: Dragonfly (I'll have them meet in an opening post, and Nick will love the dragon due to his love of reptiles), Faith.

Enemies: None he can really think of.

Loves: Faith

Marital Status: Forever Available.

Power Class:
Super System/Cosmic/Elemental/Energy

Power:
His first power class is a bit dodgy, as the ability to screw with magnetism and gravity is quite a fun power to CENSORED around with. It's pretty much the same power from New Gods, only with the added ability of slightly enhanced regeneration, which he shares with his second power set. It's power is much weaker than the other's, the most it can heal in a minute or so is minor cuts and scratches. His abilities gravity wise range from either making him as light as a feather to giving someone an extra few hundred pounds, something similar to the force from Star Wars, or attracting things to them by giving them their own gravitational pull. That ability, however, requires a great deal of concentration to pull off. Under an Omega burst he would have the capability to create a small black hole. Magnetically speaking, he can magnetize things together, expose them to magnetic field, corrupt electrical flow, create magnetic forcefields, and go as far as magnokinetic combat. Say he doesn't like you or he's trying to run away. He could give you a strong negative pull and then give that dumpster twenty feet away a positive pull just as strong (Or give it a gravitational pull). While you wouldn't be affected as much from a long distance away, if you came closer you would suddenly feel pulled at the dumpster until you are slammed into it's side and be almost incapable of lifting your arm off of the metal. This would give him an opening to either attack or run. He is also seemingly immune to 'Ashing' in this state. Be this as it may, it is only because his powers will shut themselves down for an unpredictable amount of time in which that power cannot be used at all.

Weaknesses:
His first form's powers give out after overuse. This can usually be seen when his noes begins to bleed. The powers also cancel each other out on accident if used at the same time. Magnetism is relatively ineffective if you're too far away. This can be complemented by giving the object a gravitational pull to pull you to it, but it runs the risk of not only canceling out his powers, but also running them too far or limiting him to standing still to concentrate on keeping the gravitational pull steady. if he overuses gravity he will loose that ability to alter gravity from anywhere from one day to one month while magnetism will remain intact. Same goes for Magnetism, if he overuses it, he looses it and gravity will remain unchanged.

Burst Potential: Alpha, Omega, Delta, Zeta, Theta.

Other:
I got rid of Nick's third ability. I decided that because of Dragonfly, I wouldn't need ANOTHER animal meta on my list. On the side, I added two other burst potential's to Nick's list. Delta and Theta. I hope that doesnt matter too much. Oh, and on a side note, I made him a year older now. That means he either just turned seventeen, or this is him a year after Black Fall events. Because Faith is tied into his story some, I'll let Celo decide, IF she wants to decide that is.

Basic Information

Name: Nobody.
Nicknames: Henry, Mirror, Spirit, Soul, God.
Gender: N/A
Age: N/A
Height: Varies.
Weight: N/A

Appearance

Hair Color: Varies.
Eye Color: Varies.
Nationality: All/Varies.
Physical Appearance: Nobody's physical appearance changes from person to person. Depending on the person he is talking to, he will mirror that person. In the Othergrounds, he mirrors the person as they would appear if they had not mutated. Dragonfly sees nobody as Henry, his current self as he would appear to be if he had not mutated to become the massive lizard monster than he is now. To Nicole, she would see a young sixteen year old woman. To Livvy, she would see herself exactly. To Gabe, she would see a slightly different variant of herself. You will ALWAYS see a form of yourself when you look at Nobody. This means that if he's talking to someone while you're on looking, you will see yourself, and the person talking to him will see themselves at the same time. Every single person in the world could be looking at Nobody at the same time and they would see a varient of them themselves at the same time, and not another person's variant.
Attire: Varies.

Personality

Innate Personality: Nobody is quite possibly one of the first, oldest, and most powerful meta human in existence. He is extremely wise and is always thinking. He reads people like they are books. Nobody is essentially the 'Good Guy Greg' in every scenario and will go out of his way to help others if he can physiologically, emotionally, or physically.
Outward Personality: Like his innate personality, he is still extremely wise and all knowing. He seems to know what people are thinking, insane or not. He sees two faced people as two separate beings and has the ability to relate to each and every person because when they see them, they see themselves.
Hobbies/Skills: N/A
History/Bio: Thousands of years in the making. Lets say that he has been around since fire. Whether or not that's accurate is up to you to decide.
Favorite color:

Abilities

Power Class: Cerebral/Energy/Cosmic/Super System/Other

Power: Nobody has several powers. Ranging from reading minds, to seeing alternate realities, to future sight, to disappearing beyond what mortal eyes can see, to appearance change. Everyone seeing a form of themselves in Nobody, which is why he does not have a name, because doing so would mean that he is somebody is particular, which he is not. This is a secondary power that shows itself often, but it works as it gets people to gain his trust (Henry was a real figment of Dragonfly's imagination, but it was also a way for Nobody to help Dragonfly by acting upon it). Henry has the ability to see into the future, by looking into alternate realities that are very similar to the one he is bound to (EX: One where events are the same, but Drake's born a girl and Dragonfly isn't in the world at all), where he will follow through a 'fast forward' to see how events will play out and predict what will happen in this reality. 7/10 times he is correct, but those other three are where he is wrong. So his future sight is not always right in the fact that it relies on other external sources that aren't always spot on. Nobody also has the power to vanish in ways that no meta humans can see for more than a few seconds (Neither Nicole nor Lily would be able to track him). Whether this is a form of actual prolonged teleportation or simply just a form of disappearance that eyes cannot follow is unknown and he wont say. Nobody also has a form of mind reading, but instead of actual thoughts, he reads emotion, meaning he can tell if you're scared, or feeling lonely, or are depressed, or angry, etc. and be right every time. It's very good when he attempts to comfort others. Nobody's final ability is that he is completely, intangibly, ethereally invincible. He cannot be harmed or touched. He can touch objects, but that's about all he can do with ease.

Weaknesses: Nobody has no offensive abilities whatsoever. He also cannot control his appearance shifting ability. This means that he can not make other people see anything but themselves. His future sight is also only accurate 70% of the time. Touching people is difficult for him to do, but it is achievable.

Burst Potential: None.

Other: I dont intend for Nobody to meet many people, or for others to see him. I might have him interact with Reginald and Dragonfly of course, but I dont see him interacting with others unless someone asks me to. He is the inventor/discoverer of the Omnicron burst.

Basic Information

Name: Henry Olin
Nicknames: Dragonfly (Best alias)
Gender: Male? Either? Nobody's really tested his ability to change gender, but knowing how weird he is, he probably can...
Age: No CENSORED clue. He's anywhere from his mid twenties to early thirties.
Height: 6'1, or 185.42 cm tall. 12'6 from snout to tail (381 cm)
Weight: 250.4 lb (113.58 Kg)

Appearance

Hair Color: N/A

Eye Color: His eye ball is yellow, but he has no irises.

Nationality: Green.

Physical Appearance: Take the lizard, combine it with a man, and you get... well, a lizard person. While not nearly as big as my other character Hiss, he is still a sizable length and is at a solid height. At 6'1, he doesn't tower over anyone, but can easily meet eye to eye with most people on campus. He has dark green (Now Black), scaly skin with a row of iguana like spikes running down the length of his back (So they're not the dangerous kind and will bend rather easily). He has a near (now completely) white underbelly. He is very much what you would expect from a lizardman. The difference between him and my other character, Hiss is that fact that Dragonfly is like a Chimpanzee and Hiss is like a Gorilla. He's much less bulky but still very strong (Muscle density), but not on a level comparable to that of Hulk. Dragonfly had four fingered hands and two three toed feet. The claws found on his hands are up to three inches long (only one is that long, and it is his middle finger). His toes are adorned with three inch claws as well, except what would be his big toe (the one closest to his other foot) has a different build to the others and has the ability to raise up, allowing a large six inch sickle claw that is retractable into his toe socket (like that of a Deinonychus', or more commonly, a cat's).

Attire: A pair of ripped and torn orange pants are all that he wears. Most say it's silly he wears them because like most reptiles, his 'bits' aren't on the outside of his body unless he wants them to be. When asked about this he will usually say something along the lines of: "It doesn't feel right to run around naked."

Personality

Innate Personality: "Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity? Insanity is doing the exact same thing over and over again expecting different results. One part of me will tell me to stop and do something else, while the other part tells me it'll work out eventually. When they begin to argue over which will actually work I begin to wonder why I am here to begin with and if I am real at all." -Dragonfly

Outward Personality: Depends on which side wins out that day.

Hobbies/Skills: He prefers to just disappear, which is exactly what he does when stalking the school grounds. He also tends to spend time in any bodies of water in the area. He will often be seen alone. Half the time he doesn't even leave his dorm due to one of his 'days'. His biggest asset is his experience in the basement. It is his... home. His dorm is only used at some points in time, but the basement? He spends nearly all of his time down there. What exactly he does down there is largely unknown to nearly everyone and thing on campus as he is camouflaged most of the time in the dark and it's very hard to the track him in that state unless he wants you to.

History/Bio:
"You ask me for my past, yet you know I have to spend five minutes every morning remembering what I did the day before."

Favorite color:

Abilities

Power Class: Biological/Animal/Super System

Power:
Dragonfly has most of the abilities of amphibians, lizards, and snakes. A bacteria infested bite, claws, a nasty set of double rowed teeth, regenerative properties, cold blood, a very powerful form color change (Not invisibility, but damn close), and some other weird things thrown in there. It has been said that he potentially has the ability to shift to the female gender and then back to male, although this is largely unknown as nobody wants to go up to him and say "Hey, become a girl!" because he probably doesn't know how exactly to do that. He also has the ability to breath in water through his skin like a frog, and... well, in another way which he nor I want to discuss. You want to know how? Look up how Irwin's turtles do it. He also has the ability to crawl around on walls like that of Spiderman, due to the fact his hands and feet have little hairs on their soles, like that of a Geko's, allowing him to stick to most substances with great ease. Despite this, he is rather intelligent, not an honors student, but enough to the point where he can coexist mentally in his classes on a good day. Like most reptiles he is extremely strong for his size, and is able to lift things much heavier than himself if needed. While not quite on the same level as Nicole, Dragonfly still has a very powerful sense of hearing, sight, and smell. Especially smell. He has two ways of smelling the air, which is through his noes and then through his tongue like a snake. Dragonfly, being extremely strong, has the ability to run at 30mph and over if he desires. Dragonfly's most recently discovered ability is that he has the ability to spit bright, florescent, and incredibly corrosive acid from his jaws from a distance at a maximum of twenty feet. This acid is comparable to that of the blood found in the Aliens from Alien vs Predator, except it's must faster acting and decomposes in the span of about fifteen seconds.

Weaknesses:
Cold, varying mental condition (Insane one day, Extremely reasonable the other). He takes various types of medicine to help him control his main problem, which is his multiple personality disorder in which one day he will be almost normal personality wise and the next he will be almost completely insane (Somewhat like Vaas from Far Cry 3 actually). He is also greatly feared by newcomers as people have spread rumors saying that he is completely insane and being the escape artist he is, is the only reason why he is walking around the grounds as he is supposed to be contained in the mental ward. The acid can only be shot one or two times depending on the duration and the amount of acid fired. The acid sack in his neck can take anywhere from five minutes to half an hour to be refill.

Burst Potential: Gamma (In which he will turned into a exceeding pissed off version of Hiss)

Other: Think of him as a less jacked, more intelligent, more insane version of Hiss.

Basic Information

Name: Nicole Armstrong
Nicknames: Nicky, Swan
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 55.3 lbs.

Appearance

Hair Color: Pure White
Eye Color: Indigo Blue
Nationality: Caucasian

Physical Appearance: Nicole has an extremely thin, hourglass-shaped form, which would initially make her appear delicate, if she were not built with lean, powerful muscles. Because her mutations are bird-like in nature, her arms have turned into wings. With the appearance of a beautiful avian, her entire body is covered in feathers that are largely pure white, with a soft texture, and remarkable sheen similar to silk. However, Nicole also has scalloped markings on her feathers, similar in form to a female snowy owl. These markings, strangely, possess an adamantine luster, and are practically metallic in appearance, resembling pure chromium in their brightness, but also having a slightly bluish cast, like the element Osmium. As a result, Nicole gives off dazzling reflections that make her entire body seem to glow, although it is possible she does glow, in reality. Her wings, having grown remarkably larger to enable enhanced flight abilities, possess a gigantic wingspan that from a distance appears to be twice her body length (possible wingspan is 11’2”). The undersides of Nicole’s wings do not have markings like the rest of her body, and are completely white, except for the first five primary feathers on her wings, which possess scalloped markings on the edges in a fashion similar to a gull. While the feathers on these wings are often spread out in a shape similar to an eagle’s, Nicole can close together the spaces between them in order to increase her wing aspect ratio, and make a shape similar to that of an albatross’ wingtip. The hands on her wings located at the carpal joint that take the place of alula, have adapted to become more powerful. Although shaped like normal human hands, the pinkie finger has fused with the wing, and as a result there are only three fingers and a thumb. These hands, starting just past where the wrist would have been, are covered in fine black scales, much like the foot of a bird. Each finger is tipped with remarkably long talons that are razor-sharp. Starting at the base of the hands, there is a streak-like marking of silvery-blue metallic scales that trails onto the middle finger and fades at the very tip of the talon. The talons themselves on each finger also have silver streaks on them, accentuating their curved shape. Nicole’s feet have also transformed as part of her mutation. Like her alula-hands, just below the ankle, her feathers change to black scales. However, the shape of her feet has dramatically changed. Although possessing the original five toes, all of them have grown so that the toes on the outside edges are shorter than the third toe in the very center, and all of them are long and nimble, like fingers. The toenails have turned into extremely large, wickedly curved black talons with metallic streaks accenting their shape. A third toe has grown from Nicole’s heel, making the foot capable of grasping things. Also like her hands, a metallic mark runs down her scales towards her center toe.

Nicole’s face, while still having an oval shape, has altered with her powers. Her entire face and neck are now covered with pure white feathers, absent of markings, which begin as soon as they reach the edge of her face where the hairline and ears would begin. Nicole’s waist-length hair has been replaced by long, thin feathers, tipped with the same metallic markings as the rest of her body, creating an illusion similar to hair, but also further causing her to resemble a bird. Her hair-feathers fall to about the end of her neck, and are curved similar to a Palm Cockatoo’s. Nicole’s nose and mouth have fused together to form a shiny black beak, similar in shape to an owl’s, the feathers on her face making it seem shorter than it actually is. The tip of her beak, much like her talons, has a metallic streak that runs down its center edge, accenting its curved tip and making it seem sharper. Nicole’s eyebrows have faded into feathers, but now form part of small white ear-tufts that run along the sides of her face and end just past her hairline, at the edge of her facial disk. Nicole’s eyes still remain round-almond in shape, with larger-than-average pupils that reflect light, and indigo blue irises, although a few changes are present. The rings around Nicole’s eyes, which are normally pink in humans, have turned black, giving them a wolf-like quality that makes them piercing. In addition to her normal eyelids, Nicole has also developed a nictitating membrane (Third eyelid), which is clear. Although it is unclear if she glows all the time or reflects light, Nicole does appear to glow when exposed to starlight at night.

Attire: Because she is color blind, Nicole never wears anything that has color, as it is too easy to mismatch things that do. As a result, her main outfit consists of a pale grey cotton jumper with a pocket similar to a hoodie’s on the stomach. However, to accommodate her wings, the sleeves have been hacked off, along with much of the sides of the jumper itself, and the holes edges sewn to avoid unraveling, although it was done carefully, so the top would not be inappropriate or revealing. With this Nicole also wears matching grey yoga pants, which are loose and made from a flexible fabric that allows freedom of movement. Around her neck she wears a plain black chord that is tied around a clear quartz crystal, which is beautifully polished, and is never removed. Nicole often walks around barefoot in an attempt to avoid damaging the down on her feet, and because she prefers using her feet instead of her hands to hold things.

Personality

Innate Personality: Nicole by herself is very deep, having many complex thoughts that could probably confuse people, and somehow managing to keep up with them and focus on the world around her as well, despite the number of distractions that assault her regardless of location. Preferring largely to be alone, and simply observe from a distance, she is considered to be a typical loner. Much of this is because she can do more by herself, and before she became a meta-human she was often let down by others if she agreed to be in a group. When alone, she feels more comfortable doing things she enjoys, such as mimicking bird calls, and flying, in general. She also enjoys dancing, but often does not like being watched when doing so, even if she is particularly good at it. Nicole enjoys drawing pictures and writing, crocheting, sewing, and almost obsessively polishing the crystal she wears on her neck, her wings never seeming to stain. However, her powers also sometimes make her more irritable. Due to her incredible range of vision, smell, and sound, she can hear things others can’t, and as a result, ultrasound and infrasound that is normally inaudible to others can be a noisy racket, and electromagnetic waves outside the visible light spectrum can make being around electric devices or radios horribly confusing. Due to having Monochromacy, Nicole can only see in black and white, and cannot distinguish color, which further complicates her ability to see EM waves. She often relies very little on sight, as to do so can sometimes cause embarrassing accidents. Her nose is also incredibly sensitive, and as a result, it is difficult to be around bad smells, or good smells that have strong concentrations. She often is repelled by scents considered to be pleasant, such as perfume and cologne, and may make a disgusted face unintentionally around people who wear it. She also harbors jealousy towards those with normal hands, considering strong fingers and wrists to be a luxury she does not have. Overall, however, Nicole is extremely energetic, and always seems to fidget restlessly, as though her hands (Or feet) must always be occupied with something.

Outward Personality: Preferring not to make enemies, Nicole tries to be respectful towards people, although sometimes she doesn’t always pull it off. Something almost always seems to go wrong when she speaks to someone, and the results make her dread meeting new people. Often, things that wouldn’t bother most, like holding a cell phone or electronic device, will make it hard for Nicole to focus on a conversation. If someone is wearing perfume or cologne, she will involuntarily wince or paw at her nose, because the smells are often too heavily concentrated or strong, and it can make her nose burn. Habits people act on without thinking, like drumming fingers on a desk, are extremely distracting, as well as annoying. Because of this, Nicole tries to be polite, but might end a conversation quickly, afraid of saying anything rude or harsh, and then walk away before she does something wrong. For her, communicating is very tiring, simply because her senses can split her focus and distract her, or she finds someone repellent. She also struggles to see things from someone else’s point of view, considering she does not know what colors look like, and the fact that she also sees things others do not. It is a similar case with hearing and smell, and therefore people cannot describe events to her without being asked a million questions. A similar issue results when Nicole tries to describe things from her own point of view.

A few occasions when she will actively show anger or disgust is when someone makes fun of her for being color blind, or when people complain about what their powers have done to them. Upon hearing people whine about their situations, she will often angrily tell them they are lucky, as most people can confirm that their hands are still useful, having strong fingers and wrists, and that she didn’t realize how wonderful strong human hands were until she lost them. Because of her general dislike of people who pity themselves, Nicole can often be considered mean or forceful, although part of her anger is envy.

Hobbies/Skills: Nicole is amazingly skilled with various techniques that require attention to detail, as well as nimble or small hands, without needing a lot of strength. A fan of soft fabrics and intricate patterns, she is skilled at crocheting, one of few kinds of work she can do with her alula-hands, in addition to being able to sew tight stitches by hand, a skill she uses frequently to patch holes in her clothing, or make openings in new shirts to fit her wings. She also likes to polish stones by hand, having a knack for figuring out the effects of various textures on certain kinds of rocks. In addition to these skills and hobbies, Nicole also loves to draw, read, and write, although she must find a special location free of distractions to do so. She is also a good dancer, and an agile flier, but she does not like to be watched while doing these things.

History/Bio: Nicole was born in a suburb of Texas, and grew up her entire life in the same small neighborhood community, her parents quickly discovering that she was colorblind at the age of three, when they learned she could not distinguish colors. However, she never suspected anything strange about herself until she began to mutate at the age of ten. When this happened, her toes elongated, and her hands changed anatomically. Suddenly, she found that she could no longer grasp things that normally weighed very little before, and her bones became hollow, making her half of what her weight should have been. In addition, soot grey feathers began to sprout on her arms, and her hair changed to be the same color, her nails turning black. Her eyes, which had been grey originally, deepened into a shade of indigo blue, and her vision, although always having been in black and white, altered as she began to see frequencies outside the visible light spectrum in the form of different shades, and developed powerful night vision. Shortly after, her sense of smell and hearing altered as well, giving her three super-senses that can never be turned off. However, she was often miserable because of this. Her parents had to come up with excuses to keep her from going to school, before finally withdrawing her completely and arranging for her to be homeschooled. Still, Nicole could hardly focus, as her super senses distracted her heavily from her work. Eventually, though, what she now calls the ‘cygnet stage’ was over, and at the age of thirteen, her grey feathers fell out, being replaced by pure white ones, and her hair also changed color as well. When her new feathers grew in, she gained the ability to fly, which she enjoyed greatly. Later, her parents received a letter, and decided to send her to Sparrowdale Academy, to which she happily agreed. However, this does not mean she is not nervous.

Power: Nicole’s first, and most obvious ability, is flight, similar to most birds. Due to the size and build of her wings, she is capable of flying at an average speed of 105 miles per hour, and reaching speeds of up to 200 miles per hour in a stoop dive, making it nearly impossible for people to outrun her on land. She can perform incredible maneuvers in the air, soar and glide, and can even hover and fly backwards, due to the ability to change her wing aspect ratio. Because her arms transformed into wings, Nicole’s hands lack proper wrists, and are unable to move as effectively, but are tipped with large, razor-sharp talons that can crush things with surprising force. Nicole’s large wingspan also makes her capable of attacking opponents much larger than her in the air, and a blow from one of her wings can cause severe injury. Her feet, which have long toes that are nimble like fingers, are built like a bird of prey’s, tipped with extremely large, razor-sharp talons designed to cut through flesh. Because of their flexibility, they can be effectively used in the place of hands to hold and grasp things. The power in Nicole’s feet by far surpasses the strength of the talons on her alula-hands, and allows her to create a powerful vice grip that can break bones. Her second, less obvious ability is her powerful eyesight. While she is colorblind, and thus sees things in a fashion that resembles a black and white film, she has the ability to see electromagnetic waves from the entire spectrum, from radio waves all the way up to gamma frequencies, in the form of different monochrome shades, in a nutshell. The downside is that while this power can be useful, it is also painfully distracting; as she can see any sort of signal or energy that is given off by devices or creatures, which can badly confuse important things such as depth perception. As a result, Nicole seldom relies on sight alone, for fear of crashing into something, although she has incredibly good night vision, and is more likely to use it when it is dark. Her sense of smell, overall, is perhaps unrivaled by any creature. Her olfactory capabilities exceed that of creatures such as the bear, making her able to detect things from up to 30 miles away, although much like her eyesight, her nose can be hypersensitive, and even a small smell can overwhelm her and make her feel sick. Her auditory capabilities, like her sight, are unrivaled in their hearing range, Nicole being able to hear both infrasound and ultrasound, as well as allowing her the incredible sensitivity that is similar to an owl’s in accuracy. However, just like all her sensory powers, her hearing makes her extremely vulnerable. High or low-pitched sounds are audible to her, and everything sounds much louder, so it is easy to hurt her by placing the decibels of a sound past the pain threshold, and adjusting the hertz to a level only she can hear. Even if a weapon is not used, just shouting close by can cause pain.

Nicole’s final power, which she only uses when she absolutely needs to, is the power to shoot a powerful blast of white plasma from her mouth, drawing the energy from a source that possibly comes from a distant star, as she does not contain the energy in her body until moments before she uses the attack, and appears to glow when exposed to the light of stars. This plasma, taking a form that seems to be a beam of solid white lightning, is extremely powerful, and illuminates the area around it, effectively dispelling shadows and rendering powers linked to them useless when the attack is used. This attack in strength surpasses most normal energy attacks, and requires a large amount of energy, so it can only be used once in a fight before Nicole exhausts herself. As a result, it is a last resort attack. Because of the speed and power of the beam, it is impossible to dodge. However, certain kinds of defenses or mutants are capable of withstanding the attack.

Weaknesses: Because she needs to be able to fly, Nicole weighs relatively little, and has hollow bones. While they are remarkably strong, and can take several hits, plenty of specific kinds of attacks, or people with super strength, can break them. Her eyesight, while unrivaled in the capability to see frequencies, is also a weakness, because she is colorblind, and sees EM waves in shades of black and white, rather than new colors. As a result, electrical devices, as well as anything else that gives off energy otherwise not in the visible light spectrum, can badly disorient important senses, effectively making her blind. Her sense of smell, similar to her eyesight, can also be overwhelmed by bad scents, causing a reaction sometimes compared to a case of asthma, as she will struggle to breathe, and begin to panic. Her hearing, however, by far, is her worst weakness. Because she can hear frequencies outside human ranges of hearing, she is easily injured by weapons that would be harmless to others. Already able to hear quiet things, simply shouting close by can cause pain. However, by taking a sound and changing the frequency so that it does not affect human hearing, and then adjusting decibels past the pain threshold, Nicole can be effectively beaten without harming anyone else, because she is the only one that can hear the loud noise. Nicole’s White Plasma attack, while impossible to dodge, can be blocked by very thick shields, or withstood by stronger mutants, although if hit directly, it will still cause a large amount of damage. The main disadvantage is, while extremely powerful, Nicole can only use this attack once per fight, as it severely drains her.

Basic Information

Name: Tom Marcello
Nicknames:
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Height: 6’11”
Weight: 244 lbs.

Appearance

Hair Color: Platinum Blonde

Eye Color: Black (Eye Color Constantly Changes)

Nationality: Caucasian

Physical Appearance: Although originally extremely muscular to the point of appearing as though he were taking steroids, and boasting a deep tan, a recent Omicron burst, along with a lack of time for being able to work out, has caused Tom’s appearance to change dramatically in several ways. While still retaining his broad shoulders, incredible height, and a good degree of muscular definition, he is no longer muscular enough to resemble a bodybuilder, and merely appears to be athletic and active, making his figure seem more normal and less freakish. His skin retains its tanned coloration, and appears to radiantly gleam with health. Tom still retains his triangular face, patrician nose, and defined bone structure. His sharpened teeth, present from his first set of mutations, have not been lost in the Burst. His large, almond-shaped eyes show clear signs of his mutations, to the point that there is no concealing the fact that he is a meta-human. The base color of his irises has now darkened to the point that they are pure black, comparable to the blackness of space. His round pupils are defined only by glowing white rings that fade to midnight blue as they move away from the pupil, and then back to the same color as the rest of the eye. These are the only factors of Tom’s eyes that always remain the entire time. Glowing colors, ranging from bright cyan and green-yellow to deep shades of red and magenta, frequently swirl throughout his irises, as well. Although the changing of these colors is rather slow, so that they simply appear to drift, and do not have a dizzying effect on those that see, the same pattern that someone saw at one point will not be what they see an hour later. The changing colors in Tom’s eyes are strongly reminiscent of nebulas or supernovas. His hair color has grown lighter, changing from ash brown to a natural platinum blonde, and because he previously had dreadlocks, which were impossible to untangle, for the most part, Tom has given himself a crew cut, which is easier to manage, and keeps his hair out of his face. Because his hair is naturally this new near-white color, it is not brittle, like how hair becomes when it is bleached. Because of his altered powers, Tom is now constantly filled with energy, which never ceases to fluctuate or circulate throughout his body. As a result of this, Tom faintly glows from within with a pale white light, but oddly enough, shadows often seem to pass over this glow, as though the faint light were being blocked out with dark clouds. Because these shadows slowly change and move, just like the nebulas in his eyes, his glow is sometimes compared to a Dark nebula, known for blocking out light. Because of his overall appearance, which slowly shifts, he has a slightly ethereal look to his person, although he is just as solid as an average human being.

Attire: Tom’s typical attire usually consists of a white sleeveless t-shirt and a plain pair of blue jeans. However, over his shirt he typically wears a blue-black long-sleeve windbreaker jacket, which does not have a hood, and repels water, mud, and wind chill. It also has two side pockets for the hands. He often wears this jacket almost completely zipped up, only leaving enough of the undershirt visible to show the shark tooth necklace he wears, which is strung on a black chord, and only consists of a single large tooth.

Personality

Innate Personality: Tom inwardly is a very insecure and lonely person, his sensitivities are easily touched upon, and he has little skill regarding how to deal with his emotions. Formerly very cold, scathing, and extremely arrogant, he often feels guilt about how he treated people, and seeks to make amends, though not so much that he has abandoned all common sense. Having gained a stronger set of morals, he does not like putting children at risk, and absolutely refuses to argue when they are present. The one person who has seemed to bring about these changes in his character is Marie, the young meta-human who is forced to suppress all but the slightest emotion in order to control her powers. Because Marie is teaching Tom how to control his emotions, chiefly anger, he is very attached to her, and can in many ways be considered an unofficial guardian. His behavioral changes are obvious, as much like the child he spends time around, he spends countless hours reading and studying various subjects.

Despite this, Tom still does not have full reign of his emotions. He still will frequently snap at people who irritate him, before realizing his mistake and apologizing. He suffers from trust issues, due to the occurrences at the school, and his desire to protect Marie from harm, being suspicious of people he doesn’t know well. He rapidly becomes angered when people fail to call him or his friends by name, having an odd, deep loathing for nicknames that aren’t accepted. Although often wearing a scowl or a frown, Tom is not nearly as unfriendly as he used to be, his general mood has greatly improved, as his lack of attention to bodybuilding also means that he is no longer constantly sore from exertion.

Outward Personality: Tom in many ways can be quite mean to people he doesn’t know fully well, although it is clear from his actions that he is trying very hard to be nice. With a quick temper, and poorly-controlled emotions, it is not uncommon for him to angrily snap at a stranger that bothers him, and he may even threaten them, depending on the situation, making direct eye contact and staring, and baring his eerily sharp teeth. However, despite this, he is not genuinely an extremely violent person, and if he ever becomes involved in a conflict, it is often after he is attacked by someone else, or sufficiently provoked, which is surprisingly a lot harder than it seems. Most of the time, Tom will now catch himself before a situation escalates, and apologize for his temper, stating he is trying very hard to control it.

Once people get past his generally quiet behavior, and the fact that he frequently scowls, they discover that Tom can actually be quite decent company, although his thoughts revolve strongly around protecting Marie, and ways to survive the challenges trapped in the school. Strongly devoted to his role as Marie’s guardian, he ferociously protects her from the scrutiny of others. He also spends much of his time reading and studying, a habit he has learned from his charge.

Hobbies/Skills: Tom, although he may not look it, is actually a very good cook. Due to his workout routine, and the fact that he wants to be self-sufficient, he has learned how to prepare healthy meals that are both tasty and nutritious. However, because he normally only cooks for himself, he typically prepares high-carb and protein foods only. This set aside, he is a bodybuilding enthusiast, and also knows a lot about nutrition and health. He also appears to show an interest in surfing, and knows how to do so.

History/Bio: Tom was born and raised in Perdido Key, Florida, where he grew up spending most of his time on the beach, trying to avoid his abusive stepfather, who began to mistreat him after his mother died from a severe infection as a result of stepping on an oyster shell. He showed a strong interest in surfing, but due to unfavorable conditions in his hometown, and the fact that his stepfather would take away his possessions, he would often make excuses to go visit his cousin in Orange Beach, Alabama, where surfing was easier, and less risky. There, he became adept at the sport, as his cousin kept his things for him, the two keeping the issue of abuse a secret. One day by accident he got caught in a rip current and was almost carried out to sea. However, aware of the dangers of it, he was able to swim out of the current unharmed, and earned the nickname Riptide as a result, the name sticking when a few people witnessed the event. Later, when he turned fourteen, he began to mutate, and grew much taller than normal, his mother and father both being shorter than he became, and losing his adult teeth, which were replaced the sharp teeth he now has. His stepfather, taking notice, began to intensify his abuse, until finally; Tom was forced to defend himself. The results of the fight placed his stepfather in the hospital with terrible injuries, including a shattered jaw, and he was sent to live with his cousin. Because the fight was a clear case of self-defense, and Tom’s stepfather could not speak, he was not charged with assault, and custody was given to his uncle, his strange teeth being waved off as cosmetic dental work. After this, Tom became more independent, and began a bodybuilding program, foregoing his old hobby of surfing. Later, at the age of sixteen, his uncle received a letter from the Sparrowdale Academy, and Tom himself decided to go.

Abilities

Power Class: Cosmic, Energy

Power: Since his Omicron Burst, Tom’s powers have taken a complete turn in a different direction, changing from a Super-System class mutant to a dual Cosmic/Energy class. Because of this dramatic change, Tom no longer has the capability to perform incredible feats of strength past an average human, though he does seem to retain better endurance than most. Now, Tom has the power to control photons, the particles responsible for creating EM waves, allowing him to sense rays of light around him, and even determine what kind they are, based on how much energy they contain. These powers are useful compared to electricity in that they travel faster, and can work even in a vacuum. Because of this new set of powers, Tom himself is constantly filled with a high degree of energy, resulting in strange physical changes, such as an odd, nebula-like glow in his eyes and skin, which may or may not be related to different concentrations of certain elements becoming ionized. Containing this energy in his body does not harm Tom, as he has adapted changes to handle it. When using his abilities, Tom can draw more power from the most abundant sources of photons, which are the stars in space, namely the sun, which is closest to Earth. Because much of his energy used in a fight is not the energy Tom contains internally, he is stronger the less space or matter that is between him and stars. As a result, he is much stronger when he is fighting outdoors on a clear, sunny day, versus being indoors at night when the sky is obscured by clouds. With Photons, Tom can use relatively little skill to produce an unfocused, destructive beam of light or other high-energy EM wave, as well as a temporary, blinding flash, which can buy more time, but uses up a lot of strength. He can also draw photon energy out of light produced by fire, making him more resistant to the most volatile of elemental attacks. With more practice, Tom has the capability to create shields, weapons, and other complex structures, though he is far from this, as his powers are completely different from his previous set.

Weaknesses: Because Tom has little to no skill in regards to how his powers actually work his inability to control them is his greatest weakness. He is relatively slow to attack in a fight, because it is hard to manipulate his powers so that his attack only hits enemies, instead of his allies. He is also highly vulnerable to meta-humans or other mutants that have the power to leech energy, as Tom is naturally used to having high energy levels in his body, and will now grow ill if they are depleted too much. Physically, Tom can be harmed just as any normal human can; his powers grant him no special form that makes him immune to any kind of attack, though he is more vulnerable to energy attacks than physical ones. In regards to energy attacks, ones not immediately involving light have the greatest effect, though any attacks that have light as a result of energy, namely fire (Lightning is too fast for Tom to properly react), can possibly be
weakened before they hit him. Tom is the most vulnerable to ice and water, as they can either deprive him of energy or distort his attacks. One last disadvantage to his powers, is that Tom can hold a high level of energy in his body, and possibly even increase how much over time, but he does possess a limit he cannot exceed. Otherwise, the energy can cause a negative effect on his health, and in an extreme case, possibly even kill him.

Basic Information

Name: Marie Xander
Nicknames: Fury, Terror, Avarice, Courage, Compassion, Hope, Trust, Apathy
Gender: Female
Age: 13
Height: 4’9”
Weight: 90 lbs.

Appearance

Hair Color: Jet Black
Eye Color: Silver
Nationality: Caucasian

Physical Appearance: Marie in appearance is easily identified as a mutant, and although still largely human, she looks much like a greyscale image, with little to no coloration at all. While distinguishable as being pale white, her skin does not have a typical pink hue, and so it looks grey instead. Her straight hair is jet black in color, and is cut like a bob, leaving the natural part, which means that some of her hair falls over her right eyebrow, but leaving her eyes themselves visible. The bob falls to just beneath her chin, framing her face. Marie’s face is oval in shape, with soft features, a patrician nose, and thin lips that are only slightly darker grey-looking than the surrounding skin. She has large, round eyes with silver irises that appear to glow brightly, almost like an animal’s. At odd intervals, colors swirl in them, and they are often linked to different emotions that either she or those around her are feeling. The typical silver that is often seen is apathy, the only emotion not linked to a power. Red is symbolic of rage, Fear is typically bright yellow, and greed is orange. Likewise, Courage is a bright shade of azure blue, Compassion is a pale purple, Hope is faint pink, and Trust is a deep emerald green. Marie also has seven different forms dictated by certain emotions, each form being primarily the color symbolizing it. Each one is about the size of an elephant.

Marie’s rage form, often called Fury as a nickname, appears to be much like a scaly, reptilian demon. It can walk either upright or on all fours, and has legs similar to a tiger’s, armed with extremely sharp claws. It has a large ribcage, and a long, whip-like tail similar to a lizard’s. It has a pair of wings that are not functional for flight, although they have knobby joints, and a single membrane, almost like a sort of drake, and can make movement faster. It has a long neck and jaws similar to a crocodile’s, with horns similar to a ram’s. Fury has a variety of bone-like factors regarding its appearance. It seems to have a sort of skull worn over the upper part of its face, and it also seems to have armor in the form of a ribcage over its torso. Running down its back it has spikes that eerily resemble those of a human spine. On its arms and legs it has belts made of bone that act as armor. Fury’s entire body glows a deep, ominous red, as it is made of the emotional energy of rage.

Marie’s fear form, typically called Terror, is the most malicious-appearing form Marie has at her disposal. It looks much like a sort of evil Chinese dragon. It has eyes that appear to be permanently narrowed, and a sharp snout filled with needle-like teeth. On its face it appears to always have a sinister grin or sneer fixed upon its features. Long, curving horns and spikes running down its back, along with smooth scales are its only form of ornamentation. It has four arms, which are narrow and thin, with long, pointed fingertips and hands similar to a human’s in shape. Its tail splits into eight tentacles, similar to an octopus. While these arms can be used in locomotion, Terror typically slithers, like a snake. Terror’s entire body glows yellow, the color representing Fear.

Marie’s Greed form, often called Avarice, strongly resembles a raccoon, but possesses a face that is scaly like a snake’s. It has a fur pattern just like the thief animal it resembles, with a thick pelt and banded tail, with extremely dexterous paws, armed with sharp claws. However, just past the ears, its face merges into keeled scales and a somewhat flattened nose. It has sharp fangs and a forked tongue, and while the scales have mask-like markings, the eyes are reptilian, without eyelids. Avarice has a rattle hidden beneath the fur on its tail, which it rattles when angry or threatened. Its entire body glows a deep orange, the color of greed.

Marie’s bravery or willpower form, just simply known as Courage, is an extremely beautiful and noble-looking form. With an avian shape, it has the body of a majestic eagle, with wings that seem to glint metallically, and three long, trailing tails that seem to be tipped with teardrop-shaped gems, which glow brightly. On its chest it appears to have an armor plate, like a shield, and it is armed with a sharp beak and talons. With piercing eyes, it appears unmovable and fierce. Unlike other forms, Courage seems to be slightly translucent, glowing from within. Its entire body is a deep azure blue, the color of bravery.

Marie’s Compassion form is extremely endearing to look at. It appears to be a combination of a cotton mouse and a whale. It is big and covered in extremely soft fur, with round ears and enormous eyes that are largely considered cute. It has webbed paws, and it has the tail of a whale, albeit covered in fur. Its underside is grooved like a blue whale’s, and although it has legs, it typically levitates a few inches above the ground as though it were underwater, although this does not mean it can fly. Compassion’s entire body glows a pale shade of purple.

Marie’s Hope form is not exactly what someone would expect of the emotion. It looks like a hummingbird with the eyes of a dove, but its body is armored like a bug’s. While its eyes are larger than a normal hummingbird, it still exhibits a long, sword-like beak, and wings that beat quickly to allow flight. The form has two tail feathers that are long and tipped as though possessing fans. Its face and upper torso are armored like a beetle’s, having metallic shells that make it look plated, and giving it two short horns like a gazelles on its face. Its feet appear to be that of a bird of prey, being larger, with sharp talons. It has stripe-like markings that cover its limbs and body, somewhat like a tiger’s. Hope’s entire body shimmers a faint pink, the color of the strange emotion.

Marie’s Trust form appears to be a combination of things. Its body, in general, resembles that of a horse, but its face seems to be more in shape like that of a moose. It possesses antlers similar to a reindeer, as well as a single smooth horn in the center of its forehead, almost like a unicorn. Past its long, equine neck, and legs just like a horse’s in shape, with hard hooves, it has wings. Trust’s bat-like wings only have three wing membranes, which are patterned in a fashion similar to a butterfly’s. Its tail is long and possesses a tuft on the tip, similar to a lion’s. Its hindquarters and hind legs are patterned like a jaguar’s, and its front legs and upper body have stripes like a zebra’s. It has rings on its tail. The Trust form’s main color is a deep emerald green.

Attire: Marie typically gives little attention to fashion, and as a result, does not have any fancy attire. Her usual clothing consists of a black short-sleeve T-shirt, and plain blue-jeans, along with white running shoes.

Personality

Innate Personality: Marie at first glance seems to be merely a shell of a human, and while she does have her own thoughts and feelings, it is very hard to read her. Due to the fact that her powers have effectively ruined her chances at a normal or happy existence, she often feels lonely or depressed, which is the only good reaction she can muster, as almost everything else is linked to her powers. However, because she tries to avoid anything that may trigger her abilities, she tries to keep herself calm and indifferent to things around her. As a result, she has come to consider herself a sort of physical manifestation of Apathy, because of her general colorless appearance, and her ability to suppress her other forms by simply not feeling emotions. Over the course of three years, she has held an iron grip on her feelings, holding them back to the best of her ability through a series of calming exercises. She sometimes counts, and sometimes she sings. This is what she does when she is not doing some extremely boring task, like reading a textbook or doing math. Other times, when she is feeling stressed, she slowly rocks back and forth while sitting down. While this has been for the most part effective, it is a miserable existence, and she is often in a constant state of fear, hardly able to suppress the form she has come to call Terror, because it feeds on her own weakness. Because she is often not entirely focused on events around her, she almost always seems to look through things, rather than at them, and whenever she speaks, it is typically in a monotone. Only whenever she sings does she have any change in vocal pattern, but even this is quite eerie, because it is so quiet. People often stay away from Marie, because she is scary and mysterious. They never notice how when she sings, there is a wavering note, hinting at the trapped child within.

Outward Personality: Marie instantly comes across as eerie to everyone she meets. With her colorless appearance, strange glowing silver eyes, and blank gaze that seems to stare straight through people, she looks as though there is something horribly wrong with her, which is true. Her powers are extremely unstable, and linked to Marie’s emotions; they can be triggered by even the slightest amount of expression on her part, although they are also affected by the people around her, but to a lesser extent. When it comes to interacting, she does not even try to approach others, as interaction and words prompt emotions and feelings. As a result, when spoken to by other people, her answers are taciturn, being short and simple, if she responds at all. When she does speak, her voice is in a flawless monotone, which easily frightens most people. In truth, Marie would like most people to go away, but when they try to continue speaking, she is often too polite to ask them to stop. Although she tries to keep a good grip on her powers, the risk of losing control is highest around others, as speaking and communicating splits Marie’s focus on keeping calm.

Hobbies/Skills: Marie is perhaps a child prodigy at most school subjects. Because she spends little time around others, and tries to keep herself occupied without triggering emotions, she typically focused heavily on furthering her own education past her age group’s level.

History/Bio: Marie was born in Ocala, Florida, into a military family, her father being a member of the Navy. While her father often left for months at a time on voyages, part of his job, and she was often raised by her mother, Marie loved both her parents greatly, as her mother was a caring parent, and her father made an active attempt to spend time with her whenever he was home. However, when she turned ten years old, Marie’s powers manifested explosively. During the month of December, her father prepared to leave for another cruise for seven months, and Marie grew very upset. Her sadness gave way to anger, and her rage form, Fury, manifested, smashing her parent’s car in an attempt to stop her dad from leaving. Luckily, because she was unused to the ability, she quickly exhausted herself, and passed out, her energy form dissipating and leaving her in the same form she had been in previously, albeit now black and white, as though her color had left her. Since then, her parents have been almost afraid of her, but love her as well. Marie lived in a similar state, scared for herself and her parents, and forced to suppress her personality for the safety of those around her. She did quite well, but suffered much heartache as a result. Later, when her parents received a letter from Sparrowdale Academy, they had decided not to force their child away, but Marie herself convinced them to let her go, fearing their safety.

Abilities

Power: Marie’s power is extremely unique, but also exceedingly unstable. With it, she has the ability to draw strength from seven different emotions, and manifest them in avatars, each being different, but all about the same size as an elephant. The emotions that Marie has a corresponding form to are Rage, Fear, Greed, Courage, Compassion, Hope, and Trust. While only three of them are considered to be dangerous to those around her, all the forms come with complications, and Marie may or may not be able to maintain control of herself when she takes the shape of one. Because they cannot activate without being given emotions, Marie tries to remain calm and apathetic to the world around her, as her own emotions have the most influence over her powers, although the feelings of those around her can also sway her abilities. When she transforms into any form, Marie’s personality changes to represent the emotion it dictates, becoming polarized, and therefore making the avatar more difficult to escape, although eventually she will run out of energy and pass out from exhaustion, returning to normal. Depending on the form, Marie has a different level of control, and each has unique powers. The amount of control she possesses also dictates if she retains the ability to speak.

Marie’s rage form, given the nickname Fury, is for the most part impossible to control, and when she escapes from its avatar, she may or may not have memory of what she did when her powers activated. Sometimes her memories are blank, and others, she can recall few details, but only in a sort of red haze. However, it is also perhaps one of the most powerful forms she has, and therefore if in danger it serves as a last resort. Fury’s thick skin and bone-like armor makes it difficult to harm with any sort of sharp weapon, and more resistant to blunt blows. Although it has wings, it cannot fly, but it can use them to make quick bursts of speed and jump higher than it could without. It has strong jaws like an alligator’s, and ram horns, making standing in front of it a dangerous mistake. It also has powerful paws, armed with claws that could probably snap bones. Its tail can also be swung with considerable force. Because it represents Rage, it is also unpredictable, making reading its movements impossible.

Marie’s Fear form, also known as Terror, is the most difficult form to suppress, and when it manifests, it is extremely hard to change back before using up her energy and causing her to pass out. Typically, Marie cannot remember anything regarding what she did while in this form, and when she does, she remembers it with startling clarity, and recalls being unable to control her own body, as though she were watching someone else doing the actions. Terror appears to reduce the temperature around it to a cooler temperature, which cannot kill anyone, but those with wings may be rendered unable to fly by the cold. Terror’s razor-sharp teeth and powerful sense of smell, along with night vision, make it an effective sort of predator, although it actually seldom bites. Instead, it uses its limbs to deliver lightning quick jabs to vulnerable points, and its strong, muscular body and tentacles allow it to kill by strangulation. Its entire body is said to feel as cold as ice.

Marie’s greed form, known as Avarice, is extremely unique regarding its skill set. While it can be difficult to control, it is mostly because Marie becomes influenced by its power, and willingly goes along with greed’s dark desires. However, she can sometimes suppress the power of greed and control the avatar, making it more useful than other negative emotions like Fury or Terror. Avarice has incredible night vision, not just because of its eyes, but also because of the dark mask markings reducing glare. A unique pelt makes it extremely resistant to temperature change, namely cold. While it cannot run or jump very well, it is a good climber, and can also swim for a very long time if in water. It has sharp claws that aid both in climbing and in defense. It also has a broad auditory range, able to hear high-pitched sounds, as well as quiet ones like earthworms burrowing underground.

Marie’s Courage form is easily controlled and manipulated, so long as she remains confident in her own abilities. More often than not, she will never become this avatar, versus changing into it and then having it dissipate. As it is like a giant eagle, Courage has a wickedly sharp beak and talons that are strong enough to break bones. The shield-like plate over its chest is difficult to penetrate by any means, making attacking its heart virtually impossible. Its powerful wings allow it to soar at high altitudes and quickly dive down at an enemy. Its three tails, having teardrop-shaped crystals, have the power to grow white-hot if fueled by enough emotional energy, and can be used as swords or cutting tools.

Marie’s Compassion form is much more powerful than it appears to be, and although easier to control, it is hard to summon the avatar. It has a vast auditory range, able to hear low and high frequency sounds, and it can see in the ultraviolet spectrum. Uniquely, it can hover a few inches above the ground, however, it cannot ascend past five feet, therefore it does not have the ability of flight. Despite this, it has sharp teeth that can pierce steel, and one strike of its tail can smash most things. It can also effectively charge enemies, having a powerful skull. Although seeming to be bulky in appearance, it has incredible speed in quick bursts, moving in the air as though it were underwater. Although it fights on land, it can also swim underwater, holding its breath for incredible lengths of time.

Marie’s Hope form may resemble a hummingbird, but it is far more powerful than the others, and it is also easy to control. Armed with a razor-sharp beak and talons, and incredible maneuverability in flight, it is like a flying swordsman, skillfully parrying and delivering blows with its beak. The shell on its body acts as armor, making attacks to its head and torso less effective. Because it is extremely fast and strong, it is largely considered to be the strongest and most reliable form Marie has at her disposal.

Marie’s Trust form is easy to control, but only as long as she continues to trust the person that caused the form to manifest. If she is betrayed, she will lose all power in this form and return to normal, although it seldom manifests, as Marie does not even trust herself. Armed with antlers and a single unicorn-like spear on its face, charging is the most effective way for Trust to battle, aided by incredible running speed, and the ability of flight. When at maximum speed, it can smash through solid concrete without injury.

Weaknesses: Each form Marie has possesses a different weakness or disadvantage. Most of these are linked to control, but there are also natural weaknesses that each form has as a result of physical build.

Marie’s Rage form is virtually impossible to control, and while unpredictable, it is essentially a rampaging beast, robbed of all reason, and therefore posing a danger to itself as well. If a trap is set for it, it will walk right into it. However, other ways to weaken it is by not becoming angry, and therefore robbing it of energy.

Marie’s Fear form is hard to control, and while extremely lethal, it has horrible weaknesses. Because it lowers the temperature of the area around it, it can be easily beaten with fire or heat. It also is fueled by fear, and so by simply not being afraid of it, or confronting it with courage, it is robbed of power.
Marie’s Greed form is somewhat easier to control, and is therefore less likely to be faced in battle, but when in a fight, it can be injured by simple things such as bullets or sharp blades, along with blunt blows. While resistant to most temperatures, fire and electricity all pose a serious threat.

Marie’s Courage form’s worst weakness is fear. By decreasing confidence, someone can quickly rob Courage of all its power, and force Marie to revert back to her true form. However, it can still be harmed by elements such as ice and electricity. It is also vulnerable to weapons wherever it is not protected by dermal armor.

Marie’s Compassion form is weak in the sense that it quickly runs out of energy in a fight, for obvious reasons. As a battle progresses, it quickly loses strength as the emotion that fuels it becomes less plentiful. However, it is still extremely weak to fire, and lightning is the ultimate vulnerability of this form.

Marie’s Hope form is practically impossible to defeat by depriving it of energy, once Marie takes on this form, because the emotion of hope is extremely difficult to eliminate. However, while weapons and most blows do not harm it because of its shell-like armor, electricity and ice are both effective, and a bullet at close range can still do serious harm.

Marie’s Trust form rarely manifests, and while strong, it is extremely easy to beat. Because it is summoned through trust, destroying whatever created that trust will also likewise destroy the avatar. Although resistant to blunt blows, sharp objects or bullets harm it just as easily.

Basic Information

Name: Sandra Black
Nicknames: Sandy, Leafnose
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 146lbs.

Appearance

Hair Color: Natural Red
Eye Color: Amber
Nationality: Caucasian

Physical Appearance: Sandy is not at all what someone would consider pretty. As a result of her mutations, she has developed beast-like characteristics that are often regarded as repulsive and ugly. Her face, while still somewhat shaped like a human’s, more strongly resembles that of a white-winged vampire bat, although Sandy doesn’t feed on blood. She has a hideous, leaf-shaped nose with highly prominent nostrils and pink, wrinkled skin that covers much of her face. Where the prominent bridge of her nose is not present, she is covered with bright red fur. While her eyes are amber, like their original color, they have taken on a beady appearance that doesn’t seem entirely human. Her upper canines have also elongated to the point that they show even if Sandy slightly opens her mouth. Her ears are the only factor of her appearance that seem to have been left unchanged by her mutations, not having any fur, and still identical to a normal human. Sandy’s entire body is covered with a red pelt, which she seems to keep in good condition, as it is extremely glossy and healthy in appearance. She does not seem to have any strange physical mutations aside from her face and fur, although a membrane of webbing can be seen between her fingers, excluding the thumbs. This small membrane is a pale pink color, with white edges, although it does not have any function. She does not have any fur on the soles of her feet, which are tough from walking barefoot.

Attire: Sandy doesn’t really worry too much about how she dresses, considering she doesn’t care about how people see her, and she’s covered with fur and ugly by human standards to begin with. As a result, all she ever wears is tattered t-shirts of various colors and shorts that go down to just above the knee. She does not wear shoes, and prefers to walk around barefoot.

Personality

Innate Personality: Sandy for the most part largely prefers to be alone, but even in such cases; it’s always nice to have at least one person around who she can go to if she needs help. However, even then, sometimes she can be a bit difficult to understand, having a headstrong, rebellious personality that makes it difficult to make her listen to anything that other people say, and effectively acting as a barrier to communication. Being divergent by nature, she often doesn’t do what people tell her to do, and worse, will often do the exact opposite, just to annoy the people that boss her around, often being irritated by any presence of authority. Often thoroughly convinced people she encounters found her by tracking her via her natural pheromones; she typically rudely questions their intentions, not caring about the consequences of her own actions. As a result, she makes a lot of enemies, but she often doesn’t think she can trust anyone, because her own powers are considered a bit of a curse. However, even if she has a lot of people who don’t like her for her stubborn and quirky nature, most of the time these problems only ever result in verbal arguments, Sandy being too weak physically to get into a fight with another mutant who could possibly kill her. Because she doesn’t listen to what other people say or think of her, Sandy has a lot of self-confidence, which can sometimes spread to other people, when her thick skull isn’t constantly annoying them. While she won’t follow other people or listen to them, Sandy is largely just insecure about her own powers interfering with her having ‘real’ friends, and maybe a bit jealous of the other mutants who probably don’t constantly think about weird things like hormonal changes and their effects on the body, or how they smell. When she is alone, Sandy often wanders around in heavily wooded areas that she has staked as her territory, marking them with repellant pheromones to make people avoid them. When she is in this location, she typically relaxes, and does various things, such as trying to climb a tree, or take a clip from a green branch and plant it somewhere and see if it grows or not. She may also sometimes be seen reading thick books on biology, often focusing on the brain or the endocrine system. Among meta-humans, Sandy likely knows the most about how chemicals affect the body.

Outward Personality: Sandy is extremely hard to work with for most people, in part because she doesn’t like authority and enjoys messing with the people in charge, aggravating them for fun, and second; she just doesn’t obey orders. Worse, she often purposefully does the exact opposite, just to see what happens. Being unreliable for most things, and for the most part impossible to control, Sandy often gets on the last nerve of other people, agitating them to the point that they threaten her. However, because she’s not really malicious, and just merely headstrong, rebellious, and unpredictable, it’s hard to start a fight, when it’s easier to get into a verbal argument. However, when she’s on good standings with someone, she usually just comes off as quirky, and maybe a bit crazy, although after learning about her powers most people find it easy to blame hormones. Often trying to avoid a large crowd, Sandy sometimes uses her pheromone abilities to manipulate others into staying away, although largely she doesn’t try to control anyone.

Hobbies/Skills: Sandy’s main hobby is gardening, and when trapped in the Sparrowdale Academy, this is defined as wandering through the two-mile strip of woods outside the school grounds and planting twigs from trees in whatever soil looks like it might grow. She’s no expert, but Sandy enjoys doing it, regardless.

History/Bio: Sandy was born in a small town in West Virginia, where she was supported by her single mother, who worked as a waitress. While initially she was a good kid, she had a lot of limitations on what she could see or do, and as a result developed a dislike of authority figures, often seeing them as barriers to freedom and happiness. After she began to mutate, her mother began forcing harsh sets of rules upon her to keep her strange appearance hidden, and while this was mostly for Sandy’s safety, she saw it more as a way of keeping her locked up and under control. As soon as she received a letter from the Sparrowdale Academy, Sandy chose to go, mostly for the sake of having a place to live where she could do as she pleased.

Abilities

Power: Sandy has the ability to regulate and control her own hormones, as well as generate specific pheromones, although she is limited to those produced by mammals only. While at first glance this may not seem like much, it is actually extremely powerful. Because she can control her hormones, Sandy has the capability to do things such as activating adrenaline at will, suppressing hunger or thirst, and even suppressing severe pain. She can also accelerate her healing process through cell division, and increase her muscle mass over time by using testosterone. These are only a few abilities that she has linked to hormones, being more than can be listed, and while there are many of them, a few are seldom ever used. With the ability to control pheromones, Sandy can give off smells that affect others (Mammalian in origin, others excluded). This can range from a scent that attracts them to her, to those that mark territory and make people instinctively avoid certain places. She can also use her powers to make people feel sleepy or drowsy (Not like knockout gas, it’s not instant), or even make them feel physically ill. She can also make a trail that others can follow later. Overall, Sandy can use these two abilities to great effect, but it does have drawbacks, including Sandy’s own reluctance to use them.

Weaknesses: While being able to control hormones and pheromones is a powerful ability, it does have disadvantages, one of the main ones being that while Sandy can control her hormones, they are still hormones, and may affect her behavior or physical state in a negative way. For example, while Sandy can activate adrenaline at will, it still has negative drawbacks, and while in effect, she may overexert herself, causing injury and suppressing her immune system, which may result in her becoming sick. Sandy can also only control her hormones if she actively thinks about them, meaning that she almost always has a certain amount of split focus, although it is not very much. It does make her vulnerable to psychic attacks, however. While she could increase her physical strength over time with testosterone, and heal faster by speeding up cell division, Sandy avoids these, due to knowledge that there is risk of cancer or other strange things as a result. While she can control her pheromones, Sandy will also give them off depending on her mood or condition. As a result, she is relatively easy to track by scent, as she cannot turn this power off.

Basic Information

Name: Toby Zane
Nicknames: Barky, Dog
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Height: 8.2ft. (From nose to tail)
Weight: 325lbs.

Appearance

Hair Color: Silver Fawn
Eye Color: Black/Brown
Nationality: Latin American

Physical Appearance: Toby is one of the rare meta-humans that are so dramatically altered in appearance that they no longer have a completely humanoid shape, or walk in a bipedal fashion. In appearance, he seems to be a strange combination of a pug-like dog breed, manatee, and a frog, although his upper body appears to consist of vaguely lion-like features. Typically preferring to walk on all fours, Toby has limbs adapted to support his weight in a quadruped stance, his arm bones growing longer, and his hind legs, namely the foot, adapting new bone structure. He can still walk bipedal, but this is often very rare. Much like in a frog, Toby’s radius and ulna bones have fused together, and so have his tibia, fibula, and tarsals. This allows him stronger limbs that make it possible to absorb great shock. His toes and fingers are not elongated, however, allowing him to stand with his legs straight, rather than splayed in a frog-like fashion. Toby’s body is extremely large, having a barrel-shape and silver-fawn hairless skin with a texture like a manatee’s, which melts into a flat, paddle-shaped tail. This skin is in reality very thick and loose, although on normal occasions it appears tight and thin, like the normal animal it resembles. Regardless of bone structure, Toby’s legs are thick and trunk-like, covered in wrinkles at the joints, with large paw-like hands and feet, tipped with dull black nails, and having small amounts of webbing between the toes. Toby’s face is very much like a pug’s, having almost the exact same sort of facial features, having a flat snout and wrinkly skin that starts out black and grows paler as it moves away. The only different features is that his nose is slightly more prominent, and the lower jaw more prominent, giving him an advantage, despite his anatomy. His ears are button-shaped, poking out just at the start of a Silver Fawn mane that, while shorter, appears to resemble a lion’s. Hidden in his mane is what appears to be a set of gills adapted for extracting oxygen from air. His upper body has fur, while the lower half has none, although all of it is the same color. His eyes are large, and are either dark brown or black, seemingly very sad, due to the wrinkles on Toby’s face. He has about three rows of needle-like teeth in his mouth, and a long, dog-like tongue. His voice is a well-developed tenor that seems surprisingly stable for someone his age.

Attire: Due to his anatomy, Toby cannot wear traditional clothing, but he does have a single outfit that was made specifically for a meta-human with his form by a family relative who is gifted in sewing. On the lower half of his body he wears kaki cargo pants with a large hole sewn into them to accommodate his paddle-like tail, and on his upper body he has what appears to be a sort of oversized camouflage dog vest, which stops at the beginning of his neck, and does not cover his shoulders. Overall, he appears to wear a pretty good outfit, considering, but this does not hide his canine appearance.

Personality

Innate Personality: Toby is quite easily labeled as eccentric by other people. Intentionally behaving in a silly or strange manner, he loves to confuse people and make them laugh, going out of his way to brighten the days of others. It is because of his sweet nature that he makes very few enemies, and can make even the most stoic or aggressive people smile. A bit of an extravert, he becomes lonely very easily and frequently seeks out other people to be around, suffering from extreme anxiety and distress when he is alone. It is because of his behavior and incredible personality that many people may characterize him just as though he were a dog, being unconditional in his loyalty, and a friend for life. However, although on the outside he may appear friendly, and maybe a bit gullible, Toby is actually very clever. In a fight, he is not likely to charge into battle blindly unless a friend or ally is threatened, and will most likely not fall for any traps set for him. He will, however, take blows for the sake of those he cares about. In some ways old-fashioned, Toby is chivalrous in nature, having good morals and seeking to always be a good influence.

Outward Personality: Toby often acts strange or silly on purpose around other people, usually in an attempt to make them laugh and relax; believing that with all the unusual things happening in life, people could use something to ease the tension that normally plagues them. He also does this in part because he simply loves the sound of laughter, and likes to see people smile. His quirks can take many different forms, from asking people to do a ridiculous task (Such as watching an object to make sure it doesn’t move); to being melodramatic on purpose in such an exaggerated way that he couldn’t possibly be serious. He may also make up stories about things that have happened to him, just to keep people guessing. Because of his personality, most people, even those that prefer to be alone, or those who are particularly aggressive, have trouble telling him to go away. Toby quickly makes friends with other people, and once he does so, he is easily identified as a friend for life.

Hobbies/Skills: Toby, due to his colorful personality, has a natural passion for theatre and acting, especially for comedies and dramatic scenes. An admirer of Shakespeare, he may on rare occasions start quoting from plays. He is also has prior training in opera, able to sing any part designated for a tenor. Although sometimes jokingly treated because his voice is mature past his age, he is extremely good at projecting his voice and holding notes for extended periods. Although preferring to practice singing alone, he can do surprisingly well if watched by a small group, better at coping with stage fright.

History/Bio: Toby began mutating one year before the average norm, starting to change at the age of nine years. At the time, although his voice was not developed, Toby had already been taking lessons in opera, singing soprano roles at first, in which he learned to control and project his voice. He had also performed in multiple summer plays with other youths, and was known in his family as a talented actor, his grandmother often helping him by sewing costumes for him to use. When his mutations began, it caused a case of early onset puberty, his voice breaking and becoming stable rapidly afterwards being the first signs. After this, he began training in singing tenor roles, as this was his voice type. He then started to undergo a growth spurt that resulted in him becoming far taller than what was normal for his age, and then finally his arms and legs began to hurt frequently as his bones altered. Soon after this, strange things happened to his appearance, and he was forced to stay home from school and out of public, on the grounds that he was extremely ill. During this time, his grandmother moved into his house with him and his parents, and began assisting him by sewing clothing for him to wear as he gradually mutated. When they received a letter to the Sparrowdale academy, Toby parted with his family to go there, so he could continue his education without persecution.

Favorite color:

Abilities

Power Class: Animal (Main Class), Super System, Chemical

Power: Toby is unique in the sense that most of his powers come from physical mutations, although one specific power he has is linked to having a super system. With physical capability alone, Toby can run up to 30 miles per hour from a standstill, in theory, enough to surprise or surpass most normal humans. However, because of his super system power, he can run much faster, enough to shock others, and his maximum speed has largely been considered to be about 100 miles per hour, enough to surpass the cheetah as the fastest creature on land. Even if his powers wear out, Toby still runs much faster than average on all fours. The rest of his abilities are all physical. First, Toby’s skin is remarkably loose and thick; in such a manner that while it can be damaged by things such as bullets, electricity, etc., He cannot be harmed by sharp objects such as swords, teeth, and claws. Because it is loose, Toby’s skin allows him to twist around and fight an attacker, regardless of where he is grabbed. Although his flat face and mane are often falsely believed to hinder him, special adaptations stop them from causing problems. First, his nose protrudes more than a typical pug, and as a result, he can breathe much easier, despite having a flat snout. If this fails, gills hidden in his mane are specially adapted to absorb oxygen and gasses directly from the air into his bloodstream. His jaw is very strong, and due to his sharp teeth, his bite is perhaps his most lethal weapon, as he does not possess actual claws. If he cannot bite, his incredible weight can be used instead. His final, and most unique ability, is his saliva, which contains special enzymes in higher concentrations that attack bacteria. As a result, Toby sometime uses it as medicine to prevent infection.

Weaknesses: Toby, despite having thick, loose skin, is still vulnerable to forms of attack such as bullets, electricity, and fire. While he can take more physical blows than an average person, he can still be beaten into submission if his attacker is strong enough, and able to keep an onslaught going for an extended period. Although the outside of his body is very strong, his main weak point is his gills, although most people don’t know they are hidden in his mane. His eyes are also very sensitive due to a lack of prominent skeletal brow ridges, and if damaged can make him immediately let go of a person if he bites them. His saliva, while naturally having strong anti-bacterial qualities, does not immediately heal wounds, and merely kills infection. Contrary to popular belief, Toby does not have the sensitive hearing or smell of a dog.

Basic Information

Name: Reginald Walter
Nicknames: Draco
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 153lbs.

Appearance

Hair Color: Jet Black
Eye Color: Gold
Nationality: Caucasian

Physical Appearance: Reginald seems to have once been extremely handsome, even for an animal meta-human. However, due to the terrible effects of ashing, he appears to have aged several decades, and combined with constant self-neglect and a lack of personal hygiene, he looks as though he were slowly wasting away, almost as though he had some awful flesh-eating disease, which is a perfectly reasonable possibility. Having the appearance of a kind of bipedal dragon, Reginald has a mostly human figure, but is covered in keeled black scales that at one point were likely shiny and smooth, but have faded to a sort of dull grey and grown brittle, due to his condition and poor health. He is extremely thin, to the point of being gaunt, his joints knobby, and his body as a whole being extremely weak in appearance. His face is oval-shaped, but with a sharp bone structure, although it is heavily aged to the point that it seems to belong to an old man, and not a teenager. His eyes are almond-shaped; with round pupils and golden irises, although Reginald’s right eye is obviously blind, clouded over by milky white cataracts. A great deal of sagging is below both eyes, as though he has not slept properly for days. The corners of Reginald’s mouth have rotted away to the point that all of his teeth are visible, and he no longer has cheeks. His teeth have remained pure white, as though well brushed, but this is a strong indicator that he is not eating, and his gums do not seem healthy, either. Because of this damage to his face, Reginald is unable to prevent himself from drooling constantly, and has a diminished ability to swallow. His nose also appears to have fallen off, as only a skeletal hole is present where it should be, and whenever he breathes through it, it creates a whistling sound. His straight black hair, falling down to his shoulders, is Jet Black, but has lost all its sheen and is matted with tangles, completely unkempt, and possibly falling out as well. It frames his face with a prominent widow’s peak, and is held out of it by four very small black horns that are shiny like a gazelle’s, although chipped in many places. His entire body is bony and almost skeletal in appearance, the skin sagging, with the scales a sickly pallor. In many places, he has open, oozing ulcers that are obviously painful, and if healed will leave prominent scars. Some of these ulcers, though, are pure black, as a result of necrosis. Truly, it is a miracle that Reginald is even able to walk or move. On his back he has a pair of scaly black wings, like a dragon’s, however, much like the rest of his body, they are extremely unhealthy, and holes seem to have eaten into much of the membranes. Reginald is likely to be extremely weak as a flier, if he can even achieve it at all. While his hands and feet are still human in shape, the nails are pointed and black, like claws. However, his middle and ring finger on his left hand are missing, as though they have fallen off, and the pinkie on his right hand is also missing. His big toe on his right foot is missing, and as a result he moves with a strange gait. The second smallest toe on his left foot has also fallen off. Reginald has a long serpentine tail with a barbed tip similar to most dragons in stories, but the barb is chipped in half. Although it was likely held above the ground at one point, it now drags limply on the ground. Reginald speaks with a deep bass-baritone voice, but it is extremely dry and scratchy, and sounds rather weak, having little volume or stability.

Attire: Reginald wears his typical clothing, which consists of an oversized short-sleeve cotton T-shirt, and white sweatpants. However, because they are white, his clothes reveal all the smears of grime and dirt that have accumulated as a result of a lack of hygiene. They also have stains of blood from his oozing sores, and very well look too contaminated for people to feel safe touching them. Holes are ripped in the back of the jacket to allow his wings to fit through. He often has a sort of black robe draped over his entire body, the hood pulled over his head, which he began to wear when he began ashing, and actually cared about how he looked and tried to conceal his appearance. Now believing himself to be dead, Reginald never bothered to take it off. He also often carries around an old withered tree branch he got from the park, which he uses to aid in walking, as his missing right toe hinders his movement naturally. In appearance, he seems to be an old man with an infectious disease.

Personality

Innate Personality: One of the exceedingly rare 4% of meta-humans that survives the process of ashing, people would often think Reginald was lucky, and blessed with good fortune. However, anyone that actually says that has probably never seen him, or known what it was like to experience such a terrible condition. Reginald, in truth, would likely be better off as one of the 96% percent that had died from gross overuse of their powers, as his body has been horribly damaged by the affliction. It has also damaged his mental state, which further complicates how lucky he actually is to be a survivor. However, Reginald is not even aware that he lived, because he has developed Cotard Delusion (Better known as Walking Corpse Syndrome) as a mental disorder. As a result, he holds a delusional belief that he is dead, and no longer alive. As a result, he does not believe he must maintain personal hygiene or appearance, and also does not believe he needs to eat, and as a result, neglects his health and is slowly starving, unless grabbed and forcibly fed, which is sometimes done by various special eyes that spot him and identify his malnourished state, although he always somehow escapes, despite his wracked body. He does not see anything (Other people, animals, trees, etc.) as alive, and believes that the actual reality of the world is a delusion, that the green leaves on plants, or the healthy appearance of another being is all a hallucination, and a lie. He believes that he is in the world of the dead, and that the real world will end soon. He no longer feels pleasure like normal people, and often dismisses pain, as he does not think he can die a second time. He does not show interest in any activities, either, and even people who used to know him, he does not seem to recognize as friends. He does, however, have first-hand knowledge of ashing, as he believes he died from it. He may often describe himself either as a ghost, or a corpse, and that all that he and other people see is an illusion of what is really true.

Outward Personality: Due to his belief that he is already dead, Reginald does not behave like a normal person. He does not bother with his appearance, and doesn’t care if his sores are painful. He doesn’t go to the cafeteria to eat, and shows little to no interest in activities. Sometimes he does not respond to people speaking to him unless touched or forcibly grabbed, but most are reluctant to do this, as he looks as though he might transfer some sort of disease, or fall apart if handled too roughly. He shows no reaction to fun or pleasurable experiences, and often repeatedly says that everything is dead, and that the world around him is an illusion, and that he is either a corpse or ghost. He often does not seem to recognize his own name, and if anyone knows him personally, he does not appear to know them as a friend or enemy, seeing them as just another dead illusion. He does, however, always respond to one question. No matter how ill he may look or behave, Reginald is always able to recount how he died, although technically he is still living. He always describes what ashing is, and the torment that it brings. He typically responds to questions in the past tense, and ignores present-tense ones.

Hobbies/Skills: Although formerly interested in drama and soccer, Reginald no longer has any hobbies, as he believes he is dead. He does sometimes appear to others as what is called a ‘doomsday prophet.’

History/Bio: Reginald began to mutate at the age of eleven, and was sent to his school almost immediately after his skin began to darken and grow scales, as by then his wings had already begun to sprout from his back. However, after going to the school and training to use his powers, he one day pushed himself too far, and suddenly started ashing, his cells rapidly dying and crumbling into dust, although the process was slow, from his perspective. Panicking, Reginald took the black cloak he wears now and began wearing it in an attempt to hide what was happening to him, although it was quickly diagnosed by the Eyes and he was taken to the medical ward. There, Reginald slowly began to lose his sanity, aware of his body rotting and wasting away, until he was convinced he was a decomposing corpse. Although he was told he was one of the rare 4% who lived, it was too late to convince him he was a survivor. As a result, he has spent a long amount of time hiding from other students (Those he knew thought he was still being treated in the hospital), trying to flee from the eyes that often try to follow him to force-feed him whenever necessary, and treat his sores, although he is surprisingly elusive, despite his state.

Favorite color:

Abilities

Power Class: Animal, Elemental

Power: Reginald’s powers, as a result of ashing, are heavily diminished, and work even more poorly as a result of his belief that he is dead, because he does not eat properly, or tend to his physical needs as he should. Although formerly able to breathe a powerful plume of fire like a dragon, he is now only capable of coating himself in a jacket of flames, his clothing only surviving for so long because they were treated with a special spray by medical eyes to fireproof them, and because Reginald does not believe fighting is necessary. Now, whenever he tries to breathe fire, he only creates a tiny puff of it, if it isn’t just a wisp of smoke. Although he has wings, gigantic holes that do not heal because of self-neglect make it difficult to fly, and as a result, if Reginald tries to fly, he cannot reach a high altitude, and will often frequently smack into different things, unable to remain steady in the air. The only powers that he has that is not diminished is his resistance to heat, and he only survives between treatments administered by the eyes because of a very weak immune system enhancement, which kills just enough bacteria to prevent severe complications such as blood poisoning.

Weaknesses: Reginald has many weaknesses that are quite obvious. First, he is extremely frail and weak, slowly starving to death, and is covered in a large number of gaping wounds that would make excellent targets for attacks, if anyone was heartless enough to do such a thing to someone in such a terrible state. Second, Reginald does not respond to pain as a normal person should, and ignores his physical state, which means he won’t care if he has some sort of terrible wound. His wings, while having weak flight capability, are relatively more of a hindrance, due to being riddled with holes. In flight, Reginald is unstable and will often crash into different obstacles, as a result, being in the air does more harm than good.

Burst Potential: None (Burst Potential was wiped out by Ashing)

Basic Information

Name: Willow Harrison
Nicknames: Bones
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 107lbs.

Appearance

Hair Color: Auburn Brown
Eye Color: Dark Brown
Nationality: Caucasian

Physical Appearance: Willow could easily be considered beautiful by most people. Having a slender hourglass figure and long legs, but also possessing a slight amount of musculature that does not need to be maintained, she appears to be in very good physical condition. She possesses a long neck that does not appear to be awkward, and an oblong-shaped face, which is framed by her hair. Her straight auburn brown hair is styled in a short stacked bob, with an asymmetrical left side that is longer than the right, sometimes covering her eye, and falling to just below her chin. Her deep brown eyes are roundish-almond in shape, and have long eyelashes. Her nose is small with a slightly larger round tip, and her mouth is small. Willow’s skin is largely pale ivory in color; however, across her shoulders and back she has brightly colored tattoos that appear to have been done with a skillful hand. They seem to be swirling patterns that share a vague resemblance to a fern fiddlehead, having a curled leaf-like shape, although not exactly resembling the plant. They include a light and dark shade of green, bright yellow, two shades of blue, orange, red, violet, and magenta. Deviating from the traditional bold style of most tattoos, the only black used in this pattern was an outline of the tattoo’s edge, making it stand out further. Sometimes this tattoo appears to have a variety of optical illusions going on at once. Unfortunately, much of Willow’s body is covered by hideous white scars, which oddly appear to be hypertrophic, raised above the skin, although they lack the typical red, blister-like form. This is because of the nature of the wounds that caused them, as well as because of her healing ability. While the skin over these scars is thicker, it is actually extremely sensitive to temperature and touch, as the nerve endings and other tissues grew back. She speaks with a southern dialect.

Attire: Willow has relatively the same dress style all the time, but will often wear whatever is readily available. Her typical clothing consists of a modest cotton camisole that is completely a moss shade of green, and has no ornamentation whatsoever. This is often because it shows the beautiful tattoos on her upper back, and does not restrict movement. However, it also reveals all the scars she has. As a result, she will often wear a plain brown zip-up hoodie over this whenever she is around other people, as it will cover all her scars except the ones on the palms of her hands, although she will always take it off when she is alone, and tie it around her waist. She often wears plain denim jeans and black running shoes. Sometimes when she is bored she will give herself ballpoint tattoos, which are temporary and can be removed or allowed to fade. This is quite easy, as it is just drawing with a pen.

Personality

Innate Personality: Willow is unique in a sense that inwardly she has whole-heartedly accepted her powers and the fact that she will have to live with them for the rest of her life. However, despite being okay with them, there are a few things that she does wish were different, namely the fact that it hurts severely to use them, although it’s perfectly reasonable, and the issue that it causes scarring. While physically she is aware that she is very beautiful, she often feels self-conscious about her scars, and tries to the best of her ability to hide them around others, believing (With good reason) that nobody will want to be around her if they see them. However, she dislikes wearing long sleeves, believing they restrict movement and make it too warm, and therefore removes her hoodie as soon as she thinks she is alone. She often chooses a specific location that nobody else knows about to be her territory, and can often be found there if she is not anywhere else. When she is by herself, Willow enjoys reading and drawing pictures, being a very good artist, and someday desiring to become a textile designer. Her handiwork is extremely beautiful and elaborate, her tattoos being her own design, which was carefully copied by a different artist. Identifying herself as a bit of a tattoo enthusiast, but not wanting to commit herself to too many of them, the only permanent ones she has are on her back and shoulders. Any other tattoos that she has is most likely drawn using non-toxic ink from a ballpoint pen. She is very cautious doing them on herself, as her scars often make it difficult, proving an uneven surface that is extremely sensitive to touch, although not because of pain, and sometimes having fresh wounds that make it impossible. Because she likes studying biology, she knows finer details of her own abilities, although she doesn’t like to tell people what they are. Because she requires extra nutrients and minerals to fuel her powers, she may on occasion swallow rocks on purpose, having a digestive system that can break them down.

Outward Personality: Willow is typically quiet around others, often not speaking unless directly addressed, and refraining from giving excessive information about herself or her past. Although she is not a liar, and will typically keep a promise if she makes one, she will often try to dodge certain questions or requests if she doesn’t want to deal with them. If it’s not possible to do these things, then she will directly say she does not want to answer, or that she cannot promise anything. Shy and secretive, the subjects she will most likely avoid is those regarding her powers, or her unusual habits of wandering off when nobody is looking. She often wears a hoodie around other people, in order to hide her scars, although her natural body temperature is higher than normal, and thus she is often uncomfortable as a result. She becomes extremely edgy when she is being watched, seeing it as an invasion of privacy, and also not wanting anyone to pity her for her powers. This is even more so if she is followed, or if someone intrudes on the secret location she chooses as her alone place, as she can even grow violent or aggressive towards people in such cases. Although for the most part she keeps most of her habits hidden, she will sometimes draw ballpoint tattoos on her left hand when she is around others (Because she isn’t ambidextrous), and is fine with drawing patterns as well. Although she keeps to herself, she often appreciates people complimenting her work.

Hobbies/Skills: Willow’s favorite hobby is drawing, having a natural talent for a variety of different styles, and thus she often does this when she is alone, and often around other people as well. When she does not have paper readily available, she will use a ballpoint pen and draw on her left hand instead to create a temporary tattoo. She has a great interest in becoming a textile designer, and is also a tattoo enthusiast. She takes great pride in her work.

History/Bio: Willow grew up in a small town in eastern Texas, raised by caring parents, her mother being a teacher, and her father a veterinarian.
Because of their professions, Willow’s parents pushed her to strive for good grades in school and to make anything other than an A or a B on her report card would often cause severe stress; although her parents would never punish her for it, their disappointment was often too much. Because of this, and the fact that she quickly memorized information, Willow became very smart, and would often finish schoolwork and library books early. As a result, she would doodle instead. Over time, her drawings became extremely elaborate, and her mother suggested becoming a textile designer, as the job could pay well, and Willow herself would be the one who drew the pattern, while computers could be used to make it repeat itself. Motivated by the idea of a job that would allow her to just draw things, Willow spent her free time drawing, but continued to get good grades in school, developing strong interest in biology, which pleased her father. During this time, Willow also developed an interest in tattoos, and began practicing ballpoint designs.

At the age of 10 or 11, she began to mutate, however. The first indicator was that her body temperature became unusually warmer than normal. Originally at 97.5 degrees Fahrenheit, it rose to 101.2 degrees, indicating a fever, although Willow oddly did not have any negative effects except being uncomfortable in warm environments. This was because her metabolism was working much faster, and consequently, she released more heat, and also required more food and nutrients in order to sustain the amount of energy required. After several months of her family being stumped by this, and a bit of suffering because it was hard to avoid becoming malnourished, a second change occurred when she was 12. Her digestive system began to alter, the lining of her intestines, throat, and stomach becoming stronger, and her gastric acid changing into something far more concentrated, such as sulfuric acid. After this, Willow began to crave unusual foods, such as rocks, and although her parents tried to stop her, thinking it would cause problems, she swallowed a stone. It was quickly understood that she was capable of digesting it, and it was then obvious that she was mutating, the altered digestive system balancing out her increased energy and nutritional requirements. While disturbing, her family kept this quiet, and before anything else strange could happen, allowed Willow to get one of her designs tattooed on her back and shoulders before something happened that made it impossible (As she had frequently begged them to allow it), carefully choosing an artist that wouldn’t panic about her strange temperature. While the tattooing itself was perfectly fine, Willow did not seem to feel any pain regarding the needle, and revealed that for some reason she was more resistant to it, indicating pain resistance as a new mutation. She also did not appear to get sick, and although she neglected to put disinfectant on the new tattoo, she never got an infection. Finally, another year later, her most dramatic change occurred. While she was in her back yard resting, a hawk tried to swoop into the yard to snatch up a baby bird, oblivious to her presence. Startled, Willow suddenly sprouted bony spikes, which cut through her skin and bled, although the bleeding stopped much faster than it should have. While resistant to pain, Willow still hurt very badly from the spikes, although she was able to still think logically, and didn’t go into shock. She was then able to retract them back, although the whole process was excruciating, and it left deep wounds. While she should have been weak from blood loss, and in need of strong antibiotics and stitches, she did not get infection, and although there was extensive blood loss, she was fine. Her wounds healed faster than normal, although it still took several days, and it left unusual scars. Later, after receiving a letter in the mail, Willow agreed to go to Sparrowdale Academy.

Abilities

Power: Willow’s power allows her to create constructs of bone ranging in simplicity from sharp spikes that are as hard as steel and darts that are as light as bamboo, to whips made of vertebrae-like bones. Because of this, she also has other enhanced abilities to support her bones, such as a strong digestive tract that allows her to swallow stones for minerals, and an enhanced immune system and healing factor, as well as a slight resistance to pain. However, despite this, there are many negative sides, the main one being that to extend any bone at all, it requires ripping through Willow’s flesh every time, and while sometimes she can retract them, if she leaves them out for too long, she may have to manually pull them out. This is not helpful, as even though she is resistant to pain, it is only just enough so that she is still capable of thinking rationally when she is hurt, and does not pass out or go into shock. Extending these spikes is still extremely painful and she is not immune to it, her only notable resistance being in her skin itself. When she extends a construct of bone, it also causes her to bleed, which may raise concern for a lot of people, as it is usually a large amount, however, her enhanced clotting factor prevents her from losing too much, and her body’s ability to make new blood is enhanced along with her power to grow bones. For the most part, this is not an issue unless she severely overexerts herself, and the main issue is simply that clotted blood makes a mess and can sometimes restrict movement (Because it hardens). It also ruins whatever clothing she is wearing. While she cannot get infection in a wound, it still takes time to heal, although less, and remains highly sensitive to abrasion. Healing also leaves a prominent white raised hypertrophic scar, which unusually lacks the typical red blister-like appearance. Like regular scars, they do not have hair or sweat glands, and they are also less functional than normal skin. Because nerves and muscle have grown back, they are extremely sensitive to touch or changes in temperature, although pain still has little effect. Overall, Willow can be injured by the same things as a regular human, as her healing is not instant (Bones being the exception).

Weaknesses: Willow’s main weakness is that while she is resistant to pain, it only appears to be just enough to prevent her from passing out, going into shock, or losing rational thought, the only genuinely notable immunity being in her skin. Extending bone spikes is still excruciatingly painful, and if they are left out for too long, they may become difficult to re-absorb, in which it is better to manually pry them out. Because her bones cut through tissue, there is often blood loss, and while an enhanced clotting factor and ability to produce blood can cancel this out, it can get in the way of things, stiffening and somewhat preventing movement, or even distracting allies (Because losing a lot of blood is obviously sort of scary). Her wounds, while they cannot become infected due to her immune system, still take time to heal, although somewhat less, and remain sensitive to abrasions and other things. When they heal, they leave white raised scars that, while retaining the ability to resist pain, lack hair or sweat glands, and are sensitive to temperature and touch, due to the nerves having healed back (Possibly in higher concentration than before). As a result, if these scars are touched, even by accident, it can startle Willow and make her jump or lose focus.

Basic Information

Name: Pedro
Nicknames: Toucan
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Height: 6’ 2”
Weight: 67.1 lbs.

Appearance

Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Dark Brown
Nationality: Latin American

Physical Appearance: Pedro is an animal meta-human bearing various traits commonly found among tropical birds native to South America and Mexico. Despite being tall, much of his height comes from his legs which, while still bending like a normal human’s, are long and thin, like an egret’s. His feet have a zygodactyl shape to them (Similar to a parrot’s), the toes on the innermost part of his feet being longer than the outermost ones. He has two toes on the back of his foot, and three on the front. These toes are very dexterous, and can be used to hold most objects. The nails at the tip of each toe are small, although regardless sharp and hooked. Pedro’s legs are covered in small, downy feathers that elongate as they grow further down, resulting in a flared look as they stop just above the top part of his foot. Pedro’s feet are covered with pale blue scales, and the nails are black. Pedro’s body is sleek V-shape with a larger torso, similar in build to that of a toucan’s, although it is rather short, compared to his legs. Pedro’s neck is an average length, but due to feathers seamlessly appears to blend with his torso, making it seem shorter. Pedro’s arms have turned into toucan or parrot-like wings, although he retains alula-hands with four fingers, thumbs, and small hooked nails. Like his feet, his alula-hands are scaly and pale blue, with a black coloration on the nails. Much of Pedro’s face, namely his nose and his mouth, have fused together to form a gigantic beak, similar in shape and coloration to that of a male Keel-Billed Toucan’s. A small ring around the base of his beak is black, although the main color is bright lime green. A bright pinkish-red color is at the tip of his beak, and past this on the lower part is pale blue. On the upper part past the red is an orange color. Small forward-facing serrations like teeth run along the length of Pedro’s beak, and the tip is somewhat sharper, like a bird of prey’s. Although it appears to be cumbersome and heavy, Pedro’s beak is actually extremely hard and light. Pedro has markings around his eyes that run down the front of his neck, and end on the upper part of his chest, just like most toucan species. Having dark brown almond-shaped eyes, Pedro has bright blue rings of small feathers around them that are visible from a distance. This blue fades into white, and around the edge of the markings on his chest there is a bright fringe of red feathers that quickly fade into his main coloration. This pattern is much like a white-throated Toucan. Pedro’s main color in regards to his feathers is dark black, with a slight bluish-green iridescence, like a raven’s. Iridescent green-blue feathers are present on Pedro’s wings as well, giving them a distinctive pattern like that of a Brazilian Teal (A kind of duck). Pedro possesses long tail feathers like those found on a macaw, although these have no pattern on them. A tuft of bright yellow feathers is present on top of his head, shaped similar to those of a Sulfur-Crested Cockatoo’s.

Attire: Pedro typically wears a pair of khaki shorts that come to a stop just above the knee, with a slit cut in the back to accommodate his tail feathers. Due to the shape of his feet, he does not wear shoes of any kind. He typically wears a loose white Guy Harvey T-shirt with a blue marlin printed on the back, and a single breast pocket with the logo written across it on the front. On all of his shirts, Pedro has ripped off the sleeves and torn huge slits in the sides, in order to accommodate all the feathers on his wings.

Personality

Innate Personality: Pedro is often regarded by many to be an optimist, as well as outgoing and engaging. Although he grew up in America, his parents were both originally immigrants from Mexico who spoke Spanish, and he lived in a household that strongly followed Mexican traditions. Because of this, he typically dislikes the taste of Americanized Mexican food, regarding it as too sweet, with not enough spices. He also has a very curious preference for foods as well, some of his favorite vegetables being Cassava, as well as the fruit and leaves of the prickly pear cactus. He also likes Sapote, Guavas, Mangoes, and Cherimoya. Notably, he seems to eat very little meat, possibly because the eating habits of toucans (Who namely eat fruits) have slightly affected his behavior. He has a great affinity for corn, due to much of Mexico’s food consisting of it. He is bi-lingual, speaking both Spanish and English, although he retains an accent when speaking English, due to being around his parents most of the time. He also practices the fighting form of Capoeira, incorporating movements of the fighting style into dances, which he does in his spare time for athletic purposes. Pedro plays the Accordion, still capable of using the instrument, despite his mutations. He speaks with a lighter-pitched baritone voice-type, which is his original voice, although he can change the pitch and volume of his voice due to his powers.

Outward Personality: Pedro is easily an outgoing and friendly person, although not so much that he will cut in at the wrong time and annoy people. With a natural love for festive things, he likes bright colors, cheerful music, and laughter. Unfortunately, because he knows very few jokes that will actually get a response, he’s no comedian, and either he quickly uses up some of his funnier jokes, or nobody gets the others. Instead, he will content himself with playing his accordion and making up silly lyrics as he goes along, as he is talented with the instrument, and can make his voice comically high or low-pitched. Incredible agility and skill makes him capable of performing elaborate dances, utilizing the Capoeira form of fighting for various movements. Having learned how, Pedro is aware of how to cook various Mexican dishes, and enjoys sharing techniques with others, although he will only do so if someone is actually willing to learn. Warm and inviting, he frequently tries to coax wallflowers and loners into joining group activities and socializing. While this may be seen as unwelcome, and might provoke hostility, Pedro’s politeness often prevents those who have a sense of decency from snapping at him or doing anything too aggressive. Often regarding himself as a kind of gentleman, Pedro is courteous especially to women and children, opening doors for them, and refraining from entering an argument or fight while one or both are present. Although he is a very kind-hearted person, he may on many occasions be considered somewhat vain or proud, due to his beautiful, bright plumage, which he tends to brag about, on occasion. However, for the most part, his assets outnumber his flaws.

Hobbies/Skills: Pedro is a talented dancer and singer, knowing how to perform complex pieces on the accordion, as well as having great skill regarding the Capoeira form of fighting. He is capable of perfectly mimicking any sound he hears, due to his mutations.

History/Bio: Pedro’s parents, although native to Mexico, immigrated to the United States and settled down in New Mexico, where their only son was born. There, Pedro spent much of his time playing outside, as well as tending to the family garden, where his family grew yucca, prickly pear, and several different variants of peppers. Most of anything that was ever done, however, was pull sparse weeds, as the plants often grew by themselves, and needed very little tending, or in the case of the prickly pear, it was dangerous to try to get too close without proper gear. On the street, Pedro met a man who played the accordion, and inspired, decided to learn the instrument himself. By the age of nine, he had already begun to practice Capoeira in the form of a game, developing both the martial art, as well as the elements of dance. By the age of twelve, when the first visible signs of his mutations began to appear (Feathers on areas that could be concealed with clothing), he had developed considerable skill, both as a musician, and as a capoeirista. Later, when his mutations became impossible to hide, he was forced to stay home indoors, until the day that he was able to go to the Sparrowdale Academy. Once there, he did not have anyone to practice his fighting with and so it was that he changed it to a solo form of dance, though he retains his skill. He was able to survive the invasion of the school because he was sent to the detention center (Finally he was let out) for playing his accordion too loudly after-hours.

Abilities

Power Class: Animal, Elemental

Power: Due to his bird-like mutations, Pedro has several abilities that are extremely obvious. Because he possesses wings, he has the ability to fly using them, although his flight speed isn’t the most impressive, as he can only fly 73 miles per hour, and there are several meta-humans who are capable of running or flying at a much faster speed. Regardless, unless powers affect how fast someone can go, they are unlikely to move more quickly than him. Despite Pedro’s large, heavy-looking beak, it actually weighs very little, and regardless of his height or size, he weighs practically half of what a normal human being should be. This is due to his hollow, yet incredibly strong bones, which are reinforced in such a way that they can be considered stronger than steel. Despite having wings, Pedro actually doesn’t spend all of his time fighting in the air, unless he really needs to. His main style of fighting involves combining his prior expertise of the Capoeira Brazilian Martial Art (Practiced frequently either as a dance, or with other people familiar with it) along with his second, less obvious ability. Pedro in many senses is like a kind of fire-manipulating toucan. He has the ability to generate fire and control it, although he himself is not fireproof, and therefore must not touch it. He must also utilize movements and concentration in order to use this power properly without failure or a dangerous mistake. Because of the nature of his fire manipulation, he cannot create constant streams of fire, but can combine his martial arts with the ability to make attacks have more effect, as well as long-distance, so that he does not have to come in direct contact with an enemy, as most animal-metas do. As a result, he will typically take down his foes by unleashing blasts of bright, rainbow-hued flames, the controlling action being various sweeping motions, either kicks or his wings. Even up close, Pedro is very dangerous, as his legs are extremely powerful, despite their lack of thickness. One of Pedro’s kicks can be much more dangerous than one belonging to an average human, and a bat from one of his wings, powerful from flight, can knock most people out. The extreme size and sharpness of his beak, as well as his tough bite, should never be overlooked. Pedro’s final ability is his amazing vocal chords. Due to parrot-like mutations, he can change his voice to any pitch or sound he desires. Therefore, he can mimic anything he hears. Although relatively useless in battle, one never knows when this can be a strategic advantage.

Weaknesses: Pedro, despite having the power to manipulate fire, is not fireproof himself. Therefore, it is possible that he may burn himself when using his powers. This can be used to an opponent’s advantage, as even though a wind or air manipulation power can fuel the strength of his flames, it can also blow them towards their controller. This disadvantage can also affect his power to manipulate his voice, as injuries to his throat can either temporarily or permanently destroy this skill. He has no special resistance to any elemental or energy attack, and while the chance of getting a broken bone is unlikely, he can still be injured in other ways.

Burst Potential: Zeta

Basic Information

Name: Capri Gerald
Nickname/Alias: Frillerfang
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Height: 20’6” (15’5” long tail)
Weight: 500.2lbs.

Appearance

Hair Color: None (No Hair)
Eye Color: Black
Ethnicity: Caucasian

Physical Appearance: Capri Gerald hardly looks as though she were once human, her mutations so extensive that they have completely changed her form. In addition, since having her Omicron burst, her appearance has dramatically changed even more so, with only a few semblances to her original mutated form. Having grown even more so in length, Capri strongly resembles a frilled shark crossed with an eel, as well as several other things, besides. Her entire body is extremely flexible and slippery, but very muscular, regardless. Her fins no longer resemble those of a normal fish, with thin membranes, and have become flipper-like, much like cartilaginous fishes. Capri has almost completely lost the hind fins that used to be her legs, which have now become small and triangular, their bone structure altered, and having become pelvic fins, like those of a thresher shark in shape. The pectoral fins that used to be Capri’s arms have also changed shape, growing larger, also cartilaginous like the rest of her fins. The bones in it are no longer visible, and the membrane attaches further down Capri’s body, almost reaching her pelvic fins. While they remain fins, they have now obtained a shape and set of joints that in nature is similar to that of an albatross, although on a much larger scale. The joints of Capri’s wing-fins can lock up while swimming to remain perfectly straight, like sharks, but can be folded like birds, the membrane of the fins being flexible, and even capable of rippling like a stingray. The original useless thumbs have developed two fingers along with them and a more useful shape, although they are still not as useful as a human hand, and are tipped with sharp claws. The fins on Capri’s back have been replaced by two pointed and curved dorsal fins, just like an average shark, although these are smaller-sized, compared to the extremely large pectoral fins, perhaps no larger than the small pelvic fins. Her extremely long tail, beginning past her anal and secondary dorsal fin, has thin, cartilaginous flaps on both sides that can be completely flattened at will, just like an eel’s in shape. The caudal fin, while just like a shark’s in shape, is fused partially to the eel-flaps, and is small, due to the tail having a tapering shape. In relation to Capri’s body the size of a pipefish’s tail on a larger scale, the tail has an elongated upper fin that is dramatically longer than the lower one, like a thresher shark. This tail tip is highly flexible, and can be used as a weapon to stun things. The edges of Capri’s fins have sharp edges that make touching them dangerous, as they can leave cuts.

Capri’s face retains long jaws with an arrow shape to them, as well as powerful muscles for both opening and closing, indicating a strong bite. Capri’s teeth have once more changed shape. The first row of teeth have lost their needle-like appearance. They have become thicker, longer, and serrated, with a threatening shape comparable to a Bowie knife. Although her under-bite is no longer present, and her snout is more shark-like, the teeth of her lower jaw still visibly jut out. Behind this first set of dangerous teeth are at least 300 rows of smaller teeth, which, while still resembling a frilled shark’s, have changed somewhat in shape to have a more dangerous purpose than snagging soft-bodied squid. Having grown thicker, also, the teeth are now oblique in shape, pointing inward with small serrations. The long barb-like protrusions on each tooth now have an oblique angle as well, contributing to the overall bent triangular shape. Because of the shape of Capri’s teeth, her bite is lethal, and ripping free can be all but impossible without sustaining severe injury. On her lower jaw, between the teeth is a section of tissue similar to that of snakes, from which a forked tongue can protrude, allowing a sense of smell on land. Capri has four nostrils on the tip of her nose, like a fish. Her eyes, while retaining a large shape that was initially round, have brow-like ridges above them, that give them a slanted look, and form an intimidating expression that is not fish-like. These eyes are pure black, and reflect white most of the time, giving them an eerie, dead-eye appearance. Capri has six gill slits at the base of her skull with long flaps, giving them a frilly appearance. The first flap goes beneath the skull entirely. Along the bottom part of Capri’s body, beneath the skin, are muscles like those of a snake that allow slithering movement on land.

Capri’s skin is extremely rough like sandpaper when stroked from the tail towards the head, but from the skull back, her skin is very smooth and sleek. Her original coloration has changed, however. The lower part of Capri’s body is a silvery-white color, or silvery-grey, depending on the light. The upper portion of Capri’s body is an intense dark blue-purple color. These two colors fade into one another, although the color of the belly does not extend past the pectoral fins. Capri’s skin has a bright, metallic sheen to it. There are dark, duller patches of skin that are nearly black just beneath her eyes, which reduce glare from light. The dot-like bioluminescent lures running down her back have been replaced with thin, stripe-like markings that pulse with color, starting from the base of the skull and running down to the end of her tail. These streaks are practically the same color as the surrounding skin, and the light colors they produce are alternating shades of magenta and green.

Personality

Innate Personality: Capri Gerald has very little to think about in her life that would relate to a normal person. Due to her mutations prior to her Omicron Burst, she was largely confined to bodies of water, although she was and still is capable of breathing air, just as easily as water. Due to much of her time having been spent living in the oceans, rivers, and lakes, she is used to the consumption of raw, sometimes live fish, and as a result, she does not seem disturbed by the fact of eating undercooked meat, in fact, she seems to prefer it, much to the disgust of others. Having been an urban legend in the town she came from, affectionately named ‘Frillerfang’ due to her mutations, she naturally has a deep hatred for the subject of fishing for the sake of sport. This is due to the many failed attempts at catching her to prove her existence to the world, through various means, all of which were not successful. Being a kind of fish herself, in many ways, Capri feels sympathy for aquatic creatures while others may be apathetic, sometimes making her seem strange. The fact that she held contact with her parents for the years she wandered the river basin is the only reason she was able to come to the school, and having only recently discovered her Omicron Burst, she is unused to many of the things on land.

Outward Personality: Capri generally seems to have something wrong with her on a mental level. By no means is she less intelligent than the normal human, in fact, she is actually smarter than average. However, despite this, she has very poor social skills, both naturally, and because her terrifying appearance frightens people into thinking she is a monster. Because of this, she doesn’t understand most forms of humor, and typically takes most compliments as insults, instead. Unable to identify sarcasm as easily as others, but aware of the concept, she sometimes believes people are sarcastic, and becomes offended, even if they are being serious. As a kind of fish herself, Capri has opinions on what is done in the oceans, rivers, and streams around the world, although she specially focuses on where she lives. Capri does not oppose fishing if it is for food, but greatly objects to fishing for sport that involves making the fish into a trophy, or catch-and-release, seeing reeling in fish just to kill it so its carcass can hang on a wall, or so you can set it free with a wounded lip or throat that makes it hard to eat, as a form of torture and injustice. Capri felt this way even before she mutated, but her new form reinforces the opinion, as many people who sought to catch her and turn her into a trophy disgusted her, though not all Frillerfang Fanatics wished to do this, as they merely wanted to prove her existence, and wouldn’t want to kill what could be the only member of its species. Because of this, Capri often kept the legend of Frillerfang alive by appearing before anglers who were less hostile to her, typically in the middle of the night. Because few people believe in her existence, but meta-humans were known to inhabit the world, this led to her becoming part of the Sparrowdale Academy. Because she was a special resident who would struggle to live in the school grounds anywhere else, she often took residence at the very bottom of the lake. Although she was friendly, this still made people stay far away from the lake after-hours if they decided to sneak out, because Capri was for the most part nocturnal, and looked like a monster.

Hobbies/Interests: Capri has a great interest in spying on people from below the surface of the lake. Because of the way she is, she can rarely go on land, and activity onshore is interesting to observe.

History/Bio: Capri grew up being raised by loving parents, who encouraged her to do great things, and also established a strong set of moral guidelines for her to follow. Growing up, Capri had a special focus on animals, and because her grandfather was a rather generous hunter, she often ate so much lean deer meat that fat-rich beef tasted wrong. Because a large number of her family members were largely country people who lived in the middle of nowhere down south, and she frequently visited them with her parents, Capri talks using a genuinely thick southern accent and dialect, and also takes extreme pride when she confuses people. This she enjoyed doing, and would always happily recall being taught how to do things most people found gross, such as gutting animals like squirrels, or eating swamp cabbage or alligator tail, or some other animal.

When she began to mutate, and apparently turn into a fish, her parents immediately took measures to protect her. They released her into the rivers of their local town, and then reported their child missing, as though she had been kidnapped while playing outside. The only people who were aware of what really happened was Capri’s loyal family, who talked about it amongst themselves, but effectively pretended that they believed someone had kidnapped her and murdered her. As the investigation was closed years ago with no culprit, Capri is legally dead. However, because she still held contact with her parents, and the legend of Frillerfang aroused suspicion in certain individuals, it was not long before they received a letter, and sent her to a special school where she could live without the fear of being discovered. Regardless, Capri’s social life was badly affected by her powers, as she could not move effectively on land. During the raid on the academy, Capri viciously fought back, and achieved an Omicron burst, escaping, and then passing out on the bottom of the lake where none of her attackers could reach her. She has only recently woken up, now having the ability to move on land.

Abilities

Power Class: Animal, Energy

Power: Capri is essentially a gigantic super fish. Although her body is similar in appearance to a Frilled Shark, she has none of the weaknesses that the creature possesses. Designed to swim quickly underwater, Capri has the ability to lock the knee and elbow joints in her fins so that they remain straight, without cutting off blood flow. Capable of making fast turns in the water, or even floating in a single spot and swimming backwards, Capri is highly maneuverable in an aquatic environment. Able to move at a top speed of 50 miles per hour underwater, and going up to 60 mph. in a short burst, she exceeds even the fastest swimmers (Olympic swimmers on average can go a little over four miles per hour). As a result, it is practically impossible to fight her if you are swimming, or are too close to the edge of the water. With extremely muscular jaws that exceed the power of a normal Frilled Shark, and more strongly deliver bite force equivalent to about 3000lbs per square inch at full force, and powerful teeth that are harder than iron, much like a rat’s, Capri’s bite can effectively rip apart steel mesh cages used to capture her. Her enormous, powerful teeth make trying to rip free from her bite extremely risky, without an enormous, gaping, near-fatal wound resulting. A single blow from Capri’s tail can kill a normal human being, and the edges of her fins are tipped with sharp barbs that can cut through skin with ease. Her skin is remarkably thick, almost more like a honey badger’s than a regular fish, and as a result, sharp objects such as knives, swords, spears, teeth, and claws are rendered useless against her. Her skin is also like a shark’s in texture, being rough like sandpaper, and capable of scraping human skin if stroked the wrong way. Powerful night vision that allows Capri to see in almost absolute darkness, or through the murkiest water makes her a truly terrifying foe to battle at night, and her eyes cannot be harmed by thrashing prey, due to the milky-looking eyelids that protect them in a fight. The power to detect magnetic poles allows her to navigate north and south without needing a compass, and her powerful nose allows her to detect a single drop of blood per a million gallons of water. The same ability that allows Capri to navigate also allows her to detect electric fields that creatures naturally give off. These abilities are the standard powers of an average shark. With the ability to breathe underwater, Capri can sometimes defeat foes by holding them under long enough for them to drown, and resistance to extreme pressure makes her capable of surviving in abyssal trenches, hypothetically. Thanks to her Omicron burst, she can now slither on land like a snake, allowing her to leave the water more often, although she is still somewhat slow on land. Her newly shaped pectoral fins allow her to glide for short distances, allowing temporary bursts of speed that can make her capable of dodging attacks, as well as making herself less bulky for moving around on land, though she cannot actually fly. When water is readily available, Capri is capable of filling a special pouch that runs down her length with it, and then heating it to an extremely high temperature of 220 degrees Fahrenheit, bringing it past its boiling point, and rendering it scalding hot. She is then able to spit this water from her mouth without being burned by it, her skin having special properties that resist high aquatic temperatures. She gains about three shots each time she fills her pouch, and it takes about an hour each time she re-fuels in order to raise the temperature to the proper heat.

Weaknesses: Despite being extremely strong, Capri has many weaknesses. Due to her sensitivity to electricity and magnetic fields, magnets and rare earth elements can often confuse or repel her, and she is by no means immune to electric attacks. Because of her typical element being water, she is also highly vulnerable to attacks linked to fire; despite being able to spray scalding water, it only makes her immune to boiling fluids, not actual flames. Because she largely has only her rudimentary fingers, she cannot hold or carry anything that is too much for them to handle. Her greatest weakness, however, is that, like many species of shark, people can instill tonic immobility by placing their hands on the sides of her snout, usually directly in front of her eyes. When this occurs, she will go still and will typically stay that way for about one minute, or longer, if they don’t remove their hands. This gives a small window of opportunity for people to attack her, although she is a lot less responsive than a true shark, which goes still for up to fifteen minutes. Unlike a shark in tonic immobility, Capri luckily cannot be killed by being held upside down in such a state, as she still has the ability to breathe. Her final weakness, is that she must stay moist at all times. Otherwise, she will dry out, and become extremely ill, her skin growing tight and brittle, cracking painfully and bleeding.

Burst Potential: None (Formerly Omicron)

Basic Information

Name: Jake Vin of the Valos lineage
Nicknames: Rich Boy, King of the Fancy, Mr. Fancy, The Master Illusionist
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Height: 5'7
Weight: 148

Appearance

Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brown
Nationality: Brazilian
Physical Appearance: Jake has a slightly feminine, weak feeling about him. He's a rather attractive young child. He looks much like his brother and shares similar features. He has much darker skin than any of his other siblings to the point where he appears African-American. It's safe to say that his nationality is ambiguous at first. His skin is much darker than his sister, and his half brother. He has a skinny build, he does look very unimposing and scrawny. Like he's the kind of person you'd see get beat up a lot. He has a wide chest, not in the muscular-sense, his chest his wide for his age. Jake's face is squared, and very well defined. He has a double chin, and has a small scar across the left side of it, spilling over to the other side. His head is slightly small compared to the rest of his body. His ears are slightly pointed and average sized for his family. He has a few scars on his being. Some with stories, others are just childhood blunders. One notable scar he has is an interesting scar he has under his left eye. This scar looks like it was stitched up years ago, it's bright red and very ugly. Unfortunately, it's very noticeable. He also has the aforementioned scar across his chin, which looks like he was slashed there. Apart of a dare he had made years ago and horribly failed, he has a few tattoos. Nothing special. On his left shoulder is a tattoo of a cross with massive wings pointing downwards. Under this tattoo, MADE IN HEAVEN is written. Jake has ear-length, deep black hair which is kept neatly slicked back.

Attire: Jake has an extremely fancy style. He wears the best clothes from the best people. Usually he'll wear a suit with a coat on or sometimes even a cape thrown over his shoulders. He'll also wear an assorted amount of hats most of the time he has a fedora. Always resting in the pocket of any shirt he's wearing is a pocket watch made out of solid gold. Sometimes he's just seen staring blankly at it. Ignoring everything that is going on around him. Jake needs glasses to see. He wears round wire-frame glasses, which give him the nerdy look.

Personality

Outward Personality: He is for all intents and purposes; the complete opposite of Johnny. Jake is a very friendly person. He treats everyone around him equally and with respect. Unless they had warranted a different treatment. At times Jake can be unnecessarily polite, calling adults Sir or Ma'am even if they ask not to. That's how he was raised up to be. Jake always likes to make friends, since it's common logic that making friends over enemies always helps in the long run. He always tries to be the empathetic one, but at times he finds himself overstepping his boundaries. Sometimes, with the best of intentions, he'll cross lines and offend people. Naturally, he'll feel a bit of guilt and remorse; often apologizing. Jake is very diplomatic, always choosing talking over violence. Peaceful resolutions over war. However, he's been around Johnny long enough to know when a fight's going to break out. In between himself and Gabe, he's the more reasoned and diplomatic half of the pair. This may even extend to the rest of the Valos. With him being the moral person out of all of them. He tries to act like the voice of reason, but more often than enough, gets ignored in favor of their aggressive and immoral tactics. Jake doesn't enjoy being told what to do things he doesn't want to by his brother Johnny. But, being lower in the pecking order than him means that he has to suck it up. He longs for being his own leader, or being in a kinder, more reasoned group.

Apart of his personality is that he tends to be wimpy when alone. He'll easily be pushed around by people who are stronger than him. When he has allies on his side however, this changes fast and he'll stand up for himself and be assertive about what he wants/believes in. If he's confident in himself when alone then he'll easily accomplish this. Sometimes Jake will unintentionally act smug, and stuck up. Which may offend people or make them mad. He does have an ego inside of him, he's just subtle and keeps it inside of him the best he can. Sometimes it just slips. Jake has an attraction to Asian culture, meaning he prefers Asian girls over girls of other races. If there's a hot Asian girl around; he'd be the first to hit on her.

Hobbies/Skills: Jake has two major skills. First, he's a very good cook due to the top of the line cooking classes he's received. He can cook some delicious meals. Next, he has a fair share of knowledge on computers. He knows how to code really and could probably hack a website if the skill was useful in this environment. Jake can talk down people very well. Jake also knows how to play the piano.

Favorite color:

Abilities

Power Class: Cerebral

Power: Jake is the Master Illusionist. He can create illusions that can easily trick people and (sometimes) they'll perceive it as real. Jake has a high degree of control over his powers, and can craft  virtually any illusion that he can think of. With him putting a high amount of effort into crafting his illusions to achieve this. The illusions that Jake creates aren't simple tricks of the mind or bending light, they can be seen, felt, smelt, tasted and heard. They can be either solid or intangible, with varying levels of transparency.  They are projections of Jake's mind onto the real world. Jake can essentially create anything with this and it'd appear real. He can also control the illusions, such as making a pig fly around the room or making a guy walk up and open the illusion door. What they cannot do is transfer kinetic force--- An illusion of a boxer punching a real person would have no effect whatsoever. Illusions made 'solid' usually have the same amount of durability as whatever they are replicating. An illusory wooden table would break under the same circumstances that would break an actual wooden table. In regards to detection, illusions cannot be distinguished from reality through advanced technological means of analysis. With this ability Jake can easily trick people, by creating people, false backgrounds and other useful techniques. He can also make objects/people invisible at will. This power can allow him to not only trick people, but defend people with his illusions.

A technique that Jake has developed with his illusions is the ability to make copies of himself using illusions. Exact copies that will do whatever he commands them to do. An interesting part of this power is that he can see, hear, feel, taste and smell through these illusions--- Except he can't receive pain. He can use this for advanced scouting. These copies can also cast illusions, except it'll strain him much more. These clones will be destroyed if they're hit.

Tactile Telepathy. Tactile Telepathy is a form of telepathy that allows Jake to read the minds of people he's touching them. So, as long as he's touching someone skin to skin, he can freely read their thoughts, and read their emotions. The longer he's touching them, the longer he can read their thoughts. Jake can also send his own thoughts to other people, which will allow him to have mental conversations.

Weaknesses: Jake's power has one main opposition to his ability. Energy can disrupt and destroy his illusions. If any form of energy contacts his illusions then it'll fade away. Any Energy-type Meta-humans can easily disrupt and destroy his illusions with their powers. Notably, energy must be of relatively high intensity in order to disrupt the illusions. Projection of light, low levels of radiation, small amounts of heat, etc won't cause the illusions to be destroyed. While Jake has a high level of control over his illusions, it takes  effort with complex scenery and detail, and he also has difficulty making illusions register across all five senses (more than one takes a considerably degree of concentration). Jake's illusions, while strong, are brittle. Meaning if they get heavily damaged in one area, the entire thing falls apart. While he can just put it back, over exerting himself can be hazardous. Creating too many illusions at a time can cause damage to his mind and maybe cause him to pass out. Finally, illusions cannot be made to move unless Jake devotes attention to them - they are effectively stationary and static otherwise. No matter what Jake creates; his illusions can never be used to cause people harm. Nor can they (Directly) interact with the real world, outside of people. Which puts him in a strictly defensive/support role.

Burst Potential: Theta, Alpha and Omega

Other: Jake is the half brother to Johnny, and the twin brother to Gabriela. He isn't in any way related to Sylvia.

(Deceased) Gabriela:

Basic Information

Name: Carmen Brenna Santo
Alias/Nicknames: Often referred to as Lilly
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Height: 5'3
Weight: 153

Appearance

Hair Color: Naturally brown, but dyed bright purple.
Eye Color: Gray
Nationality: Peurto-Rican
Physical Appearance: Lily has a Voodoo/Gothic feel to her. She's lean, yet athletic with little noticeable fat or muscles on her being. She has wide shoulders (inherited from her father) and could very well have a muscular build that looks great on her, if she works out a bit more. Though, she's very unimposing and not very strong. Her skin is fairly clean or clear except for a tattoo (of the sun) that she has on her shoulder that's hidden by her jacket. She has a few scars, two of them stands out the most. A few years back she had to get surgery on her stomach when she was in an "accident". It's a thin yet very noticeable scar that starts at her chest and goes down past her belly. Fortunately her choice of clothing easily conceals this scar. The next scar is on the left side of her head that can be seen from the front of her face. It's an electrical scar that she got during an experiment with her powers. She also has two scars on her left eyebrow and one hard to spot horizontal scar on her chin. Lily has a few piercings on her body, all of which are facial and silver colored. There's a ball-shaped piercing on her right eyebrow, another is on the right side of her cheek and is the same kind of ball-shape. Finally there's yet another ball shaped one pierced to the bridge of her nose. She also has ring-shaped piercings on both her ears. Her hair is straight, and kept in a very long pony-tail, some hair is brushed over the scar on her left eyebrow.

Attire: Lily has a modern feel to her attire. She usually wears a demim jacket unzipped (or zipped) to show the various shirts she wears underneath. Then she'll wear any pants whether it be jeans or sweat pants. She'll always be seen wearing a large scarf on her head of any color as long as it matches her outfit.

Personality

Innate Personality: Lily cares deeply about the well being of others, even strangers. While outwardly she may act like a controlling and bitchy person. That's all because she feels that her way is best and will ensure the safety of others. She doesn't like having the title of "team-mom" but she feels that she'll obligated to do so. She tends to keep certain emotions (like being annoyed or anger) bottled up easily and kept to herself. Only sharing these emotions to herself, and people she deems to be her friends.

Outward Personality: Outwardly, she's very controlling and calm. When situations pop up she always attempts to assume the role of leader and get the team out of danger. No matter what's going on she'll always have in her head that she's the leader. She also tends to fuss at people when they oppose her and attempt to do their own thing. She's also pretty judgmental and if you do one major thing against her she'll want to bite your CENSORED off until she feels she got her satisfaction. She is also very opinionated about what she thinks of others, most of the time she'll keep these opinions to herself. When in causal conversation, however she's nice albeit a bit stressed at times. Sometimes she tends to be condescending or arrogant. Due to her powers she's not really into the whole romance thing. She'll easily push off any advances without a second thought. Then tell whoever to go CENSORED themselves. Of course if someone eases in and starts to make her like someone then she may be a bit more open.

Hobbies/Skills: Lily's father is a Doctor and she's soon great interest in the medical field. He has taught her quite a few things about the medicine that'd be practical for a girl her age. Such as CPR and how to use a first-aid kit to treat most non-serious wounds. Of course there's a realistic limit to how much she can do. She's also interested in gardening, she'll know how to plant plants, and that bumbatish. She also worked as a cashier for a bit.

Favorite Color:

Abilities

Lily's original power:

Power Class: Power and Energy

Power: Power Manipulation. After going through her Omicron Burst, Lily's powers had mutated into something far more powerful. She's gained abilities that she could not possibly have even gotten before her Omicron Burst. Lily's power now revolves around the Meta-human Energy that dwells in every single Meta-human. She still has her own unique Energy Surging through every single last cell on her being. This energy fuels all of her powers. Lily's constantly generating this energy on her own. However, she'll do it very slowly. She seemingly will generate much more of this energy when she's around other Meta-humans. It may be leeching them of their own Meta-human Energies, or some reaction. Which means the more Meta-humans are around, the more energy she creates. Lily does not know of this yet.

While she doesn't exactly know it yet; she can do great things to other Meta-humans. She is a Power Manipulator now. Her true potential simply out of her range, and she has to learn how to use her powers again. Lily's first, and passive ability is that she can detect Meta-humans from great distances. She'll know the exact location of every meta-human in a fifty-foot radius. Which means it's difficult for Meta-humans to sneak up on her, and she can also find them much easier. This ability also allows her to gauge a single Meta-human's power just by having them in her presence. While they're in her presence, she'll also know how powerful the Meta-human is. It's mostly three power-levels; Strong, Weak and In-between. She can also "see" the energy inside of Meta-humans. To her; every Meta-human's body is illuminated with a green-energy. It illuminates their nervous-system. It's brightness depends on the strength of the Meta-human, if/when the Meta-human is strong then it'll be bright, and the opposite when/if a Meta-human is weak. When Lily is near them, this energy will glow slightly brighter and seemingly follow her. When a Meta-human uses their power then the energy will get much brighter around the limb where the power is centered. This part of her ability is useless, but it helps with another aspect of her power.

Lily still retains her Power Enlightenment ability. When she touches another Meta-human she can learn all about their power. It also has been modified so that she can know their very peak, basically how powerful they can be. She'll know powers that they haven't unlocked yet as well. At will this ability can be mirrored so that she can enlighten people of their current power and everything they can do with it. Lily can also let people know her power, and she can inform herself of her own power and potential. While she can let people know of their potential; she cannot unlock this potential--- That's up to them and herself. Unfortunately, she no longer has her Power Perception ability.

Time for the meat of Lily's ability; Power Charging/Dampening. By touching another Meta-human she can alter the energies that surge through them. When she starts altering their power, the energy in them starts to move, seemingly following her hands and will either glow brighter or dimmer depending on what she does to it. By doing this, she can either amplify or dampen the energies they have. Making temporarily making them much stronger or weaker. Depending on how long she touches the person she can either make them far more powerful (potentially, on par with Bursts) or so weak that they can't effectively even use their powers. Regardless of how much she charges a Meta-human, they will be in complete control of their ability. No matter how much she charges/dampens a Meta-human, the effects will only last a few minutes. Lily can potentially save someone from the dreaded "Ashing" by dampening powers.

That is only the very basic form of her Power Manipulation. Lily can manipulate powers to an extent. While she can use this, it's very hard to control and the girl has no knowledge of how to use it. Making it rather impractical until she learns much more about her powers. Lily can alter abilities, albeit temporarily. She'll be able to mutate powers similar to Omicron bursts. Manipulating existing powers to either an minor/major alteration or changing a Meta-human's powers to something completely different. Since it'll take decades of training for her to come close to controlling this ability; the changes to powers will be more or less random. Out of her control. Nor does she even know how to access this ability, yet. Any usage of this will more or less be accidental. Lily can potentially swap the powers of Meta-humans around her temporarily, as long as all parties are touching her. The same still applies, she doesn't know this ability and will be used accidentally.

Finally, Lily still can "infect" normal humans with powers. Through the similar means she had before. Lily still has her own, unique variation of the Meta-human energy. Instead of kissing them to grant powers, all she has to do is transfer some of her energy into her target. Her target won't instantly get their powers. It will take several months (up to six months total) before their powers manifests. The only catch is that people don't get to choose what power they get, nor can Lily. They get a random power that literally can be anything.

Weaknesses: Lily's aversion to using her powers still remains. Merely because she now simply doesn't want anyone to know of her power. She doesn't want anyone to know about her great power, in fear of that people will try to abuse her. She'll only use her powers on friends (who can keep a secret) or during emergencies. No matter what she does; the effects of her super-power manipulation will always be temporary. Unless it's her ability to give people powers. The only way that Lily can manipulate powers is by touching people for periods of time. This can make it difficult to manipulate the powers of certain Meta-humans, and all someone has to do is stay out of her reach. Or just hit her when she does touch them, Lily has little in terms of direct offensive power. This also leaves her open to attack in the process of manipulating powers. This means that it's extremely hard for her to manipulate the powers of those who don't want her to (Or it can leave her open to attack). It also takes a very long time for her to manipulate powers themselves (Depending on what she's doing), which can leave her open as well. Her Power Charging/Dampening will only last around a few minutes. There's an averse affect when she Charges/Dampens a power. If she Charges a Meta-human, their powers will temporarily be weaker after it wares off. When she Dampens a power, it will be temporarily stronger, once it wears off.

The longest the effects of her actual Power Manipulation will last is at least three hours. It may be shorter, may be longer--- It's generally erratic. If she charges a Meta-human too much then they run the risk of ashing. If they use all their supercharged power in one powerful attack, then they'll likely run the risk of ashing too. They have to use their power in short and controlled bursts to avoid this. Both outcomes are (Likely) bad for her since the people she'll want to charge will be allies (Most of the time).

Lily uses her own unique meta-energy to fuel her powers and has a sort of battery that runs inside of her. Different tasks with her powers uses up a different amount of energy. Direct-manipulation of powers uses up her powers the most, and charging depends on the amount she charges. Weakening abilities takes up the least amount of her energy. If she uses her powers too much, then she'll temporarily lose access to all her powers and will have to recharge. She'll have to recharge all of her energy before she uses her powers again. It'll take up to a few days for her to completely recharge her energy, without the presence of other Meta-humans. The time it'll take will vary depending on who she's around. Giving a person powers will drain most of her energy. The only exception is her ability to sense powers, which doesn't use her energy. Lily doesn't know how to use her abilities, which is easily her biggest weakness at the moment. This may change over time with practice--- But, that may be difficult due to her aversion to using her powers. Finally, Lily can in no way alter or enhance her own abilities.

Lily also no longer has no offensive powers. Which means that she's virtually defenseless. Making her more suited to a support role in the story.

Burst Potential: Omicron (She has already preformed this Burst)

Basic Information

Name: He keeps his real name a secret
Nicknames: Hunter
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Height: 5'10
Weight: 164

Appearance

Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Black
Nationality: American
Physical Appearance: Hunter is lanky, yet thin. He has a rather pale complexion, due to the use of his powers. His skin is scarred with hideous looking wounds, the most notable ones were the ones on his palms. His palms appear completely covered in scars from what appears to be blades. These scars on his body are a mix of old scars and new scars. Making obvious that he's had some of these scars for years on end. Fortunately, there aren't too many scars on his face and head. Except for a small scar that he got under his eye, and a scar on the bridge of his nose. The rest of his upper body is literally coated in thousands of different scars. Other than the scar his skin has other imperfections such as moles, and blemishes. He is rather thin, as he has a healthy build. He does look rather unimposing, and weak. Like he can't do anything physically. Hunter's face is squared and well defined. His nose is thin and one of the least notable things about his face. He has a pair of black wide set eyes which are a few inches away from each other. His eyes are notably big. His lips are thin, and is mouth is average sized. Hunter is always sporting a facial expression that is of fear, or paranoia. Hunter isn't exactly an attractive person. He has hair cut short, and it's wavy. He also has hair on the rest of his body, and is growing a small stubble.

Attire: In public, Hunter tends to wear heavy outfits that cover up much of his body. Because of all the scars he has, naturally. He'll wear a long sleeved overcoat, or any article of clothing as long as it covers his being. When alone he'll dress rather lightly. His outfit changes from day to day. One thing he will always have is a large black tote bag slung over his shoulder. This bag appears to be for women but he doesn't really care. Inside this bag is several art supplies, such as paint brushes, paint, etc. He also holds a first aid kit, which he knows how to use. Hunter always keeps a switch blade in his bag.

Personality

Innate Personality: Innately, Hunter is always wondering why he can't be like other people. He always feels conflicted about things, and wishes that everyone else would be like him so he wouldn't feel so awkward. At times the only thing that made him feel normal is his art. While it's more subtle than anything he has an obsession with art. His goal in life is create his masterpiece. When someone damages his art he tends to get upset, and at times violent. It brings out his "bad side" very easily. Which makes him act, instead of think. Other than that he's a thinker. In his own head he analyses things, and takes note of plenty of things. He does have a great memory and is precise. Sometimes when stressed he tends over think things and force himself into a metaphorical corner.

Outward Personality: Outwardly, Hunter is rather odd, creepy even. The way he talks, the way he looks, those scars, it's rather unnerving. However, he's social, just not very good at it. It's because of the aforementioned habit of not getting people. Some things will simply perplex him. He also tends to be blank and blunt, never will he beat around the bush. He tends to be oblivious to somethings. Hunter will be polite to people unless given a reason not to. With people he doesn't like he'll just ignore them and let them do their own thing. He's long learned how to ignore jerks. At times it appears that he can't stand up for himself. Except when they push him too far, then he won't hesitate to fight. Unlike some people he doesn't really fear pain or threats from other people, and if motivated enough. There is a limit to this, however. Like many others he tends to avoid dying the hardest he can. Hunter is a very kind person, and will always think about other people when he makes a decision. At heart he's a kind person, he just tends to act strange, and out. When he's stressed he tends to act a bit more erratic, and won't think some things through. One thing that brings him great pride is his artistry skill, nothing will make him feel better than showing off his pictures to those who are interested. He also tends to draw things. Whether it be an object he likes, a scene, or people. Except he doesn't draw them with his own blood.

Hobbies/Skills: Art. From a young age Hunter has been interested in art, and is considered to be a prodigy when it comes to art. He can draw well with his fingers, and brushes well, he knows how to use other forms, but isn't as good. Hunter also knows how to use first aid kits. He also done some fencing, so he knows a bit of swordplay.

Abilities

Power Class: Other

Power: This power is inspired by a video I once saw of a very special artist... You'll figure out who after reading. Hunter has access to the mighty blood-art technique. Which allows him to draw things with  blood and whatever he draws will take a physical form identical to the drawing. Essentially he can create constructs out of blood. All these constructs will be texture-less, yet blood colored. For him to accomplish this he has to draw a useful amount of blood, then if he has a solid surface; draw exactly what he wants to materialize on it, then it'll sort of come to life. Of course he also has to concentrate hard on what he wants to create. By concentrating these constructs will be able to mimic the features of what he's drawing. Such as if he thinks of a sword really hard while drawing it; it will be metal-like. He can create virtually anything as long as he has enough blood and it isn't too large. Hunter also has the ability to control what he materializes to an extent. In a short orb (around two feet) around him, he can move objects telekinetically, which allows him better control over his constructs. Even if he's holding them. Which is how he appears to be rather skilled in wielding weapons, because he's telekinetically guiding them to their target. In addition to these powers, Hunter is able to regenerate blood extremely fast, and wounds a bit faster. His body also contains a larger amount of blood than average.

At this point he is unable to create living beings with his art. However, in due time he'll have the potential to bring life to his drawings, if they're drawings of creatures/animals.

Weaknesses: Hunter can only use his own blood to draw art. He can't create mechanics with his art, only static objects. While Hunter can regenerate wounds and blood faster, there's a limit to it. It's far from instant, and he may lose too much blood and possibly die. Which is rather dis-servicing because he also has to produce enough blood out of his skin to make art. That requires him to make a rather large wound to produce enough blood. His most blatant weakness is that he requires a bit of time to make art. While he can draw something rather fast with his fingers alone he needs a few minutes to draw. However, he has worked around this by keeping a book of everything he usually draws and keeps it close to him at all times. Speaking of which, he has to draw what he wants to create exactly. It's size, it's detail, etc. Even if he mis-draws one line when it takes a physical shape it'll be rather deformed. It's a little quirk of his to never let this happen, and will scrap the whole thing just to fix that one error. Finally, once he draws the picture and it takes a physical form, the drawing will be left behind and if it's tampered with even in the slightest the construct will be destroyed, until it's corrected and reappears.

Burst Potential: Zeta

Basic Information

Name: Lin Chai Kentt
Nicknames: Mimic/Decoy Octopus, China-Girl
Gender: Female (She can change genders)
Age: 16
Height: 5'7 (Across both forms)
Weight: 136 (Weight changes depending on current form, this is the weight of both of her forms)

Appearance

Hair Color: Black, (Across both forms, her default form has jet-black hair)
Eye Color: Brown (Default Form), Blue (Natural Form)
Nationality: Chinese
Physical Appearance: Lin has two bodies she mainly appears as because of her Shape-shifting power. There's her super attractive "default" form, which is default because it is her preferred form. Then there's, her original/natural form, which is far less attractive. Lin can become virtually any human, and alter her appearance to a degree.

In her "default" form, she is beautiful, even better looking than models. She no longer appears to be ugly, and unattractive like her natural/original form--- Now she's quite the opposite. Easily one of the most beautiful women in the Academy. She appears to be completely different as well, retaining many similarities to her original, natural form. Lin has a very athletic build. She has a thin body, with a muscular build. She appears to be muscular throughout her body, and she has six-pack abs on her belly. She's mostly muscular because she plays lots of soccer. Lin's skin is a perfect shade of yellow, true to her Chinese descents. Her skin appears to be much lighter compared to her original body. Her skin is plastered with brown freckles, the most of them are on her face. Lin's face is much, much better looking than before. She has a near avian-like face, that is very well defined. Her cheeks are small, and somewhat squared due to her sharp jaw-line. Her head is heart shaped. It is large at the top, and as it goes down, it gets sleeker and pointed. Her chin is pointed, and she has a very sharp and pronounced jawline. Her eyes are brown colored, and average sized. True to her Asian descents, her eyes are pointed at the side. Lin's lips are thick and full. They aren't that noticeable compared to the rest of her face. Her being is completely scar-less, and without any moles or blemishes. Lin's hair is an unnatural shade of black, and straight. She keeps it in a small bun, on the top of the back of her head. On the bun, she usually has a plastic flower stuck into it.

In her natural form, she is far less attractive. She looks fairly bland and ugly to be honest. She has a slim, athletic frame. She has some wide shoulders and thick legs. She's also muscular, not as muscular as she is in her default form. But, her arms, and legs seem to be well defined. That obviously suggests that she has been living an athletic life. Which is true since she plays plenty of soccer. From that athletic life; she has plenty of scars on her body. Just plastered around her body, there isn't any scars with any major stories attached to them. Lin isn't exactly a looker. She's pretty ugly to be honest. She has a very wide head. Her face is rounded, and pudgy. Her cheeks are wide and pudgy, she has moles and blemishes all over them. She has a very small nose, with small nostrils along with a long nose-bridge. Her ears are average sized and slightly pointed at the very top. Her eyes are also a bit smaller than average, her eyes a beautiful shade of blue. It makes her look unlike her Asian descent. Since the usual eye color of that race is brown/darker. Lin has several brown freckles plastered across her face and some places on her body.

Attire: Lin's attire varies greatly from day to day, and it depends on her current form. Despite her (Usual) super-model appearance, she dresses quite blandly sometimes. She usually wears any clothes that both fit and match. She does like to wear frilled shirts and dress shirts. She is usually seen wearing tan jeans, or cargo pants. There is one thing that Lin will never be seen without a golden ring on the index finger of her right arm. It is a wedding ring, even though Lin wasn't married. Which is a gift from one of her oldest friends, before she went away. This ring reminds Lin of that special friend. On special occasions, Lin can be seen wearing an assortment of dresses. Most of them are modest, and show little to no naughty bits. Most of these dresses are white colored.

Personality

Innate & Outward Personality: Lin is a very nice and polite person. She almost never treats anyone unfairly and rudely at first. She's a very easy person to get along with, as long as you're nice in return. To those who aren't, she isn't exactly mentally or emotionally capable of dealing with them. She can easily be insulted if someone is nasty enough. She's not exactly good with come-backs either. Lin isn't a violent person. She usually avoids people who use violence for "wrong" reasons. However, she can tolerate a person who fights for good reasons (In her eyes). As long as they don't act like thugs. Lin herself will use violence or lethal force whenever it becomes necessary. Lin can be a bit of a doormat at times. Easy to intimidate with violence, and is easily bullied. She doesn't have the will to stand up for herself. This means that she can be forced into something that she doesn't want to be rather easily. Lin will try to avoid this by either running away or hiding from someone who does. This mentally that she has stems from earlier childhood bullying and abuse. Lin is a quiet girl when around other people. She just stays quiet (or in the background) while other people talk, and sometimes when someone says something; she'll speak. This doesn't count if she's apart of the active conversation.

In terms of D&D Morality, I'd say she's Lawful Good.

Hobbies/Skills: Lin has a near infinite amount of patience. It is almost impossible for her to get bored. Aside from that, Lin  plays a lot of soccer. She's extremely good at running and very skilled with the sport. She's on the road to becoming a professional. As a side effect of this, she can run pretty fast (Depending on her current form). Lin is also a very good swimmer, she can swim quite fast. She also likes sledding, Peter Pan, country music, wind chimes, pocket-watches, whales, and meteorology.

Favorite color:

Abilities

Power Class: Cerebral (Main), Anatomical/Biological and Super-System

Power: Telepathic Shape-Shifting. Lin's power is a mix/link between Telepathy and Shape-shifting. By focusing enough, she can read the minds of those she chooses, making her telepath. Albeit, from the start of the RP, a basic one. However, this is only the first step to her true power. Lin can read the minds of those around her, and Shape-shift into people based around those thoughts. When people think a thought about or relating to someone, no matter the thought, Lin can shape-shift into the exact person (s)he thought of (Regardless of gender). It can be a general thought, like "Did Alice turn off the TV?" or maybe remembering/thinking of a character from a TV show. It can be anyone. As long as the person's thought has someone in it, and that person knows who it looks like, Lin can flawlessly copy the person's form, from their outward appearance, all the way to their voice. The person thinking the thought just has to remember it. She'll also appear to have their scars, tattoos and other physical alterations (If it's remembered). This ability dives deep within someone's mind. Gathering as much information on their appearance as she can via all their memories. However, she won't know these memories, only know what the person looks like from the memories. Which means she'll always have a more complete shape-shift, without even knowing the person's memories. Lin can assume the forms she's assumed in the past as long as she remembers them. Through this power is how Lin went from a generally unattractive girl to an absolute Asian-bombshell. She asked several people what they thought was an amazing looking Asian-female. She recorded all the thoughts and went with the one that she thought looked the best. Lin has over a hundred different forms. Lin will also always know if a Cerebral type is attempting to access her mind.

Lin can freely alter some aspects of her body (Even if she's already shape-shifted into someone), to a degree. She can freely change the color of her skin, hair, eyes, to anything within the natural spectrum. Based off the forms she remembers, she can also freely change her facial features - She can change her eyes, chin, nose, lips, etc (You get the picture), and mix and match facial features. Lin can also freely change her gender, regardless of form - For maximum awkwardness. Even while she's already assumed a form of someone, she can do this. Lin can also create her own tattoos and scars, just by thinking about it. She can create intricate tattoos and some brutal scars freely. Which helps her disguises quite a bit. Lin can also create false injuries, she can mold burns and small cuts. This can help her fool opponents - However, she cannot create/draw blood. Finally, Lin can change her voice to that of others - All she has to do is hear it before.

Lin has plenty telepathic abilities in her potential. She won't be able to reach all of them during the course of the story. Her telepathy will also get stronger as the story goes on - Right now it's pretty weak, but as the story goes along, she'll be able to go from reading one person's thoughts at a time to possibly reading several minds. Abilities she can learn: sending her own thoughts to people, digging into minds/memories (Allowing her to see memories), sending out a near-invisible wave of mental energy that will scramble someone's mind temporarily (Causing headaches, thoughts and emotions going crazy, senses being dulled, etc), mind-linking with anyone of choice, and putting up mental barriers that will defend her from Cerebral-type powers as well as cloak her from cerebral-based detection/location. Eventually, she'll also be able to shape-shift into anyone she thinks of, and alter her current body any way she pleases by thinking about the changes. The absolute form of Shape-shifting.

Weaknesses: At the moment her shape-shifting depends on her emotional and physical state. She must be either kept in a good emotional and physical state, or else she won't be able to shape-shift properly or maintain those forms as well. Some frequencies of sound and light will cause her to revert back to her original/natural form. Just not to defeat the purpose of having this ability; Lin can only assume forms based off the thoughts from people around her (Currently). It heavily depends on what the person remembers. Say if the person doesn't know something about someone, her own mind will subconsciously fill in the blanks. Which can easily mess up something major about someone's appearance. It can also be difficult when it comes to minor details, say if they forget about a scar on someone's then Lin's form will be without that detail as well. The same applies if they make a mistake about someone. In either case, if she's trying to impersonate someone and there's a mistake about their appearance; she's going to have a bad time. Since she can only shape-shift into whatever one person thinks; it can be literally anyone. For example; it could be what someone used to look like, what they want the person to look like, etc. She may end up with some inaccurate, or unneeded forms. This can be either good or bad. Clothing isn't incorporated into the shape-shifting, she'll have to find some new clothes that fit her new body, if necessary. Lin can shape-shift into any form as long as there isn't a large mass difference. If there is a large difference - She'd either be a smaller/bigger version of that person. Which is a instant giveaway if she tries to disguise herself.

She can only turn into humans. Animals and Animal Meta-humans are %100 out of the question. Lin will always have the same scent no matter what form she takes. Telepaths (and certain other Cerebral Types) can potentially see through her shape-shifting and know her original form.

Burst Potential: Zeta, Delta and Alpha

Name: Rosemary Faith Kelson

Nickname/Alias: Faith (since she prefers her middle name)

Gender: female

Age: 16

Height: 5’5”

Weight: 105 lbs.

Appearance

Hair Color: Faith’s hair is a light brown color, but she has added in a few light blue highlights to it

Eye Color: blue

Ethnicity: Caucasian American (white)

Physical Appearance: Faith has pale skin and strait hair that extends a couple inches past her shoulders. She usually wears it down and prefers not to curl it or change her hairstyle in any way. She also prefers to not wear a lot of makeup, since to her it feels weird on her skin. Faith has a few freckles, mainly on her face, but there are a few on her arms and legs. Faith’s body is pretty much average-shaped for a girl her age. She has a small scar below her lip from where she had once fallen and split her lip open when she was around five years old, but it’s hard to see since the scar blends in with her pale skin. I am going to go ahead and include her speech patterns here, too. Faith usually talks in a quiet tone of voice unless she actually knows the person really well (like her mom or a friend) then she talks at a normal tone around them.

Attire: Faith prefers to wear faded skinny jeans with a pair of black flats. Her shirts are normally plain with no designs on them, but in different colors. She wears a white, neon paint-splattered jacket with the shirts, though, as a small way to “accessorize.” Faith also wears a few bracelets on her right hand. They are usually the type of bracelets you see that are made of rubber and say random things on them like, “BFF” and “YOLO.” Though she originally wore glasses, Faith eventually switched to contacts. She carries around a small white purse that has a 3DS in it along with her cell phone and a notebook and pencil. To finish up her outfit Faith wears a plain gold necklace that was her grandmother’s before she passed away.

Personality

Innate Personality: Faith is usually just video gaming or studying when she’s alone. There’s not much to say here, and since it’s an optional topic I don’t have to say much

Outward Personality: Faith is shy around other people, and usually doesn’t talk very much unless there is something that really sparks her interest brought up. When she gets comfortable around someone, though, she begins to talk a lot more.

Hobbies/Interests: Faith carries a 3DS so she can play video games in her free time. She also has a dislike for anime (why am I making my character do this? ;_; ) but she still hangs out with a few “otaku” friends. She spends a lot of time on some sort of electronic device when she’s at home or around town.

Skills/Talents: Faith is pretty good at school work. She is a strait A student and what some may call, “A teacher’s pet.” Keep in mind she is not a genius, she just studies a lot when she’s not video gaming. Normal IQ, but still has good grades. Simple. She is good at video gaming, considering it’s what she does most of the time. However, Faith has never been good at socializing. As explained earlier, she is shy. While she may be academically smart, Faith is also not very good at sports. She is thin, so that enables her to run at a decent speed, but in the strength category she is a weakling and doesn’t have very good endurance. That’s one reason she prefers video gaming.

Goals: Faith’s main driving force is curiosity. She may be shy, but like many human beings, curiosity gets the best of her and she tries to find out new things. Then she usually wants to best everyone around her and do better than them as a way of quietly getting noticed. Faith would never admit to trying to be better than others, though. But then again, who would?

History/Bio: Faith moved to her grandmother’s house in the Westside of Black Falls with her mom at around age 10, not long after her parents got a divorce. She had actually been very talkative before the divorce, but after she moved with her mom she slowly but surely became more quiet and shy, and turned more often to video games. Despite her being shy, however, Faith still wanted to be noticed and hang out with other people, (however that works) so she took to studying different school subjects to get noticed academically, even though it mainly got her called a nerd. Faith didn’t mind, though, since the good grades got her attention and it made her better at something then other kids at school. At age 13, Faith’s grandmother, who had been one of the people she looked up to the most, died, which greatly saddened Faith. She grieved for a while, but eventually pushed the memory to the back of her mind. She is now in the othergrounds
and dates Nick, the Operator's OC

Favorite color:

Prized Possession: Faith’s most prized possession is the necklace she wears that used to belong to her grandmother.

Relationships
Mom: alive (but they usually have disagreements)
Dad: alive (Faith doesn’t talk to him)
Step mom: alive (same as relationship with Dad)
Siblings: none
Step-siblings: one brother and a sister, both alive (same as Dad)
Grandmother (mom’s side): deceased
Grandfather (mom’s side): deceased
Grandmother (dad’s side): alive (same)
Grandfather (dad’s side): alive (same)

Power Class: elemental, Energy (I think....)

Power: Faith’s ability is that she can manipulate electronics to have them do random things, such as turn a blender on that is across the room, crash a computer, have an arcade game erase the high scores, etc. She is pretty much like a living universal remote that can control any electronic device. Faith uses this ability mainly whenever she’s playing a video game and about to lose (though she’s become something of a video game addict/specialist/whatever-you-wanna-call-it, so that doesn’t happen very often)

Weaknesses: Though Faith can control electronic devices, she has to be within ten feet in order to do so. Also, when it comes to ordering a device to do something, the more complex the command the harder it is to do it. Turning a computer on and off is easy, but trying to delete the files on the computer with an order is harder.

Burst Potential: Faith can only do an alpha burst, and what probably would happen in an alpha burst to her is that she has a sudden moment of being able to control an electronic device so well that she is pretty much the device….. It’s hard to explain…. Something like the device actually coming alive with her soul in it, I suppose. Um…. I’ll try and explain it better if you don’t get it ^_^

Name: Crystal Chanten
Nickname:
Gender: female
Age: 15
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 98 lbs

Appearance

Hair Color: dirty blonde
Eye Color: light blue
nationality: Caucasian American
Physical Appearance: Crystal is of average height and weight for a person her age. She has a slight tan but has hardly any freckles on her body. Her hair extends to around mid-back. Though it’s naturally strait, but Crystal prefers to keep it up in a ponytail. She has an oval shaped face. Crystal wears glasses, though they don't really make her look nerdy. She has a regular fifteen year old girl's figure. She is slightly underweight, but she doesn't really care about it. Crystal has a clean, zit-free face and doesn't really wear much make up. Also, Crystal's tone of voice is usually laid back. In truth, though, she is never really that relaxed.
Attire: Crystal has a more girly style. She wears skirts a lot with flip flops. She wears a variety of shirts from floral to plain to ones that button all the way down. She sometimes wears dresses, though not very often. Crystal also wears a silver bracelet on her right wrist that has her name engraved on the side. She also wears a silver locket that used to have her parent's faces in them, but she tore them out and replaced it with her sister's face. Crystal also has a white backpack that's been doodled all over that has a few overly-worn journals and pencils in it. She may have an orange or two in it :3

Personality

Innate Personality: Crystal usually day dreams about different things. She also spends time wondering about useless "what would have happened if...?" situations. Pretty much regretting certain things. Mainly regretting ever showing her parents the letter inviting her to Sparrowdale.

Outward Personality: Crystal is normally very sociable towards everyone and is also laid back. That would be the first thing to notice about her personality. Another notable part of Crystal’s outward behavior is that at times when she is being spoken to she seems to space out, thinking of some other subject instead of the one being currently talked about, which isn’t the best thing to happen at many times. Though she may be able to talk a lot and seem sociable, Crystal prefers to be alone and left to her thoughts at times.

Hobbies/skills: Crystal has been taking pictures her whole life, so her photography skills are pretty good. She also enjoys writing which is a reason she has a journal she carries around with her. The journal is full of random stories or notes about things she notices.

History/Bio: Crystal grew up in a small town in Texas being known as the "smart girl." She had several friends in her town and had a good family life with her parents still married and a loving sister. One day, when Crystal checked the mail, she found a letter from Sparrowdale academy. She didn't want to go, but decided to go ahead and show her parents the letter out of respect. Her parents thought it would be a good idea to have her go, which made Crystal very frustrated. She had fights with her parents for days afterwards, and her sister sided with her considering that she should be able to make her own choices. The day Crystal left for the academy she took their pictures out of the locket she had and replaced it with a picture of her sister. Now Crystal is at the academy.... like everyone else.

Favorite color:

Prized Possession: Crystal's notebook and locket

Abilities

Power Class: cerebral

Power: Crystal is a Psionist. This means she can use more of her mind and access parts of it normal human beings can’t. She uses PSI (pretty much brain power) to use her ability. PSI can be divided into three categories (enhance, blast, and trance) but Crystal’s PSI abilities mainly focus on enhance. Enhance can be subdivided into three more categories- healing, an increase in the five senses, and increase in things such as speed, strength, and stamina. Crystal isn’t an experienced psionist, so she can only tap into the “healing” area and also increase her five senses. Crystal can use we healing ability on others, but not enhance other people's five senses

Weaknesses: The main three things needed to use PSI are concentration, visualization, and projection. In other words, in order for Crystal to use her PSI ability whatsoever, she has to use a great deal of concentration, visualizing, and mental energy. If Crystal is lacking in any of these, she could easily be given a huge, unwanted headache. The same result goes for if she were to overuse her psionic abilities. When it comes to Crystal’s healing ability, she can heal a variety of wounds, but the larger the wound the longer it takes to heal. A small scratch only takes a few seconds but a large, deep gash in someone’s arm could take around ten minutes. As for Crystal’s increase in her five senses…. She just has to concentrate hard for the increase, so the more concentration, the stronger her senses. It takes a lot of PSI concentration to increase the ability by only 50%, though, so she doesn’t really use the sense increase very often.
Burst Potential: Crystal could probably do an omega burst where her healing speed would increase along with her ability to increase her senses by a certain amount will grow and she won’t have to use as much concentration.

Other: Crystal's favorite food is.... oranges :3

Name: Alexia Smith
Nicknames: Lexy
Gender: female
Age: 14
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 93 lbs

Appearance

Hair Color: brown with blonde streaks
Eye Color: light green
Nationality: Caucasian American
Physical Appearance: Lexy has a skinny body and is average in height. Her skin color is pale despite her constant presence in the sun, with freckles scattered throughout many places on her body. She has brown hair that extends to about a inch past her shoulders that's in curls, but not the kind that basically makes your hair untamable. The kind that mainly makes your hair settle in a few ringlets. There are some blonde streaks in her hair from spending so much time in the sun. She prefers to keep her hair down. Lexy doesn't have any noticeable scars on her body though she does have a birthmark on the back of her right arm that some people may mistake for a bruise at times. Lexy also doesn't wear any make up. She prefers to keep herself looking completely natural.

Attire: Lexy wears any bright or girly attire. She especially enjoys wearing floral print. She is usually seen in sun dresses and skirts. She also wears neon colored flip flops and flats. (even in the winter time) Whenever it is cold, Lexy usually just adds in some leggings and a brightly colored jacket to her outfit. She also carries around a purse with various items in it: a brush, camera, and cell phone. Those are the main items.
Personality

Innate Personality: "Oooh, that person seems friendly! I should go talk to him! I wonder what his power is?" Lexy enjoys talking and has a small attention span. She really likes to daydream, as well. (she daydreams about the most random things that have no relation to anything mentioned, though.)
Outward Personality: Lexy talks the way she thinks- randomly and full of happiness that seems to have no known source. She usually starts conversations by asking someone what their power is or if they have one. She is really nosey about that sort of thing. Lexy may be really nice, but many can find her inability to shut up annoying. Also she isn't that smart, either.
Hobbies/Skills: Lexy likes to daydream and talk. She is also into a lot of sports and is very skilled in basketball.

History/Bio: Lexy grew up in a wealthy family as a single child so she was kind of spoiled. It doesn't seem that way for how the girl acts, however. (happy-go-lucky, friendly, etc.) Lexy was known as popular at her school mainly due to her athletic skills in some sports and her- and please excuse the term- "blonde" behavior. Her parents agreed to send her to the othergrounds to try to get Lexy more academically fit. Lexy didn't mind, though. It just meant she could meet more people to talk to and that the people would have powers.
Favorite color:

Abilities

Power Class: super system, cerebral (I think....XD)

Power: Lexy has perfect aim. The way she can use her power is her mind is able to connect up different facts about her surroundings that the normal mind can't. Her eyes also play a role in this, as she has above average eyesight that can help with determining speed and distance for objects. Lexy doesn't realize her own mind does this, however. She just throws an object and knows it will land at the target.

Weaknesses: Though Lexy may have perfect aim, let's think realistically, here. She cannot change the laws of physics. Nothing she throws can magically change directions without an outside force acting on it. She doesn't have super strength so she can't throw any further then the average person. Not to mention the fact that she can't decide if someone dodges an object or not. So, you get the point- she has a realistic perfect aim

Burst Potential: Omega burst
Other: Not much else to say....

Basic Information

Name: Jesse Sutor
Nicknames:
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Height: 5'8" - 5'9"
Weight: 141

Appearance

Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Blue
Race: Caucasion (Italian, Scotch-Irish, Czechoslovakian, Cherokee)
Physical Appearance: Let's start off by describing what we already know; Jesse is about 5'8" and weighs about 140 lbs. He has an average body figure, and is well solid enough. While not athletic, he has a fair amount of muscle in his arms and body despite having poor muscle tone - his abdominal muscles are fairly strong, maybe even abs if there wasn't just a thin layer of padding over it. He has been described as having broad shoulders and strong hands. His legs are fairly strong as well, and exhibits good muscle control while rock climbing, and is able to flex the muscles in his calves and can suck in his stomach. While not the pinnacle of attractiveness, he could be described as easy enough to look at - square chin, high cheekbones, blue eyes, long brown hair that hangs down just below his shoulders. Despite his Cherokee genes being rather small in percentage compared to the rest of his heritage lines (namely Italian), it does appear to have had a strong influence over his facial structure. He is slightly tanned, mostly being his arms and face, and can be considered pale by some standards. As for the expression he usually wears, he might look a little solemn when he's thinking, which can warrant occasional misunderstandings and usually doesn't smile too much unless given a reason to. Regardless of this, he does have a bright smile and you can tell by his disposition that he tries to come off as warm, welcoming and respectful to the people he interacts with. His posture isn't perfect, as he has a habit of standing up straight, posture-perfect, to slouching like a kid in the slums without much prompt. He has few scars to speak of aside from one on each knee, a long streak across his right calve, and maybe a couple burns marks on his hands and forearms. His face isn't utterly perfect either; he has few traces of acne, maybe a subtle blemish on his skin. His facial skin, which, is slightly scarred from the years of his teenage life where acne was a much more common occurrence. However, they tend to blend in and so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Semi-thick brows and lashes. Clean shaven. Not much more to talk about regarding his face, except for the couple chipped teeth in his mouth from an accident when he was younger, but they don't look too terribly bad. He lacks much of an accent, and has one hell of a foot to his step most of the time, wanting to get to where he needs to go with little delay.

Attire: Wearing the same thing over and over again isn't something that's new to Jesse, considering that he has had a small wardrobe for the longest time during his youth (or rather, younger than he already is). However, he managed to branch out a little more with the greater income of money (before he was sent away to the Othergrounds). This being the case, he wanted to look nice on his first day. He wore a loose fitting white v-neck shirt -- not his ideal preference, but whatever, he could deal with it. On top of that was a tailored fit (that's what the tag said) black and yellow (more like mustard) plaid button-up shirt. He often leaves the top two buttons undone and he rolls up the sleeves up to his elbows or so, so that his forearms are free. He also wore a pair of dark grey jeans that were faded around the knees and thighs from use, and was fastened to his hips with a black fabric belt. With them was a not-so-neat pair of hiking boots (with white ankle socks, which were concealed by the high tops) that looked to be really old, beat up, and they formed comfortably to his feet. The soles were still in tact and the most damage they had was that one part of the shoe laces were stripped of its sleeve revealing a white string. One of the metal loops that held the shoe laces, near the front of his right shoe, popped out. This causes a metal clicking noise every time he made a step. He has no jewelry in his possession, the closest being a hair tie he wears on his right wrist.

Personality

Outward Personality: He tries his best be warm, respectful and open about who he is, what he does, and how he thinks. He is generally accepting of others and their beliefs as long as they don't aggressively act upon them, and dislikes it when people try to convert him to their way of thinking. When personally meeting another person, he tries to be as respectful as he can, and if the conversation takes a wrong turn, or if the person turns out to have an ugly character, he generally just apologizes and/or shys away while making an excuse why he has to go, not wanting to be acquainted with that sort. He seems thoughtful, follows the path of least resistance, and tries to be there for his friends while he can. He'll be the one in the group of people having a good enough time without talking a whole lot, but will contribute when prompted. Unfortunately inner turmoil can cause him to snap at people, even if they aren't to blame for anything. A little impatient, rather curious, willing to learn. Described as creative and intelligent, rather wise for his age. Despite being seventeen, his disposition and the way he talks, the vocabulary he uses and more, can make him appear older and so he gets along well with older age groups. He's usually cautionary, but would also rather do things his own way.

Innate Personality: Despite his warm outer appearance, he is actually rather hard to impress... and as opposed to his outward personality, Jesse feels as if he's struggling with a lot of things. Being a twin brother, he gets compared a lot to his quieter, cynical, "well-behaved" conformist sibling. Thus, he gets labeled as the outgoing, in-your-face one and gets bought ridiculous clothing with stupid jokes on them. He hates that, given that he's none of those things. He hates being compared to his brother. Also because of his poor relationship with his twin, Jesse never felt as if he has a brotherly relationship with him. However, all that is just the tip of the iceberg, and isn't one of the things he actually thinks about frequently. Experiences left him a self-loathing, lonely, confused person. He doesn't feel successful, he doesn't feel capable, no skills or talents, nor does he feel he has any purpose. Prior to the Othergrounds, he was incredibly scared of moving out since he had no experience living alone, nobody taught him to drive. He feels ill-prepared. Internally, he has a big "what's the point" attitude and that he "won't amount to anything". Regardless of these feelings he has, he still presses on and does what he can to help whether it be menial tasks or providing support. His views come off as agnostic and liberal. He's an idealist at heart. He struggles with his self-loathing half and tries hard every day to conquer it, support from certain people makes it easier. The recent discovery of his power has actually made him afraid of himself, and he refuses to use it most of the time (usually done in private and with something small, like a lizard).  While open, he isn't open about his actual feelings and has trust issues to boot. Prying his shell apart is a feat in itself.

Hobbies/Skills: He has come to have an appreciation for food and cooking, and has made a couple of meals that even managed to impress himself. He enjoys rollerblading and rock climbing. While talking isn't his primary idea of a good time, he does enjoy talking to and getting to know certain people. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music and looking up random people on the internet performing covers of songs, usually with violins and pianos.

History/Bio: Tch... a bio would justify everything, yes, but that will take a while and I don't want to write one for my own reasons.

Abilities

Power Class: Cerebral, Animal/Plant, Other

Power: Biological animation, basically controlling things that are made of natural, living tissue and have them perform tasks according to your will This is limited to only dead or incapacitated humans and creatures. As such, the power can be described as necromancy without all the tortured soul business. You could, theoretically, try to animate a living, fully conscious person. However, the ability is easily overpowered by sheer natural instinct and drive and a strong mind. But the effect would be enough to keep someone from punching you. Sort of. Basically someone throws a punch at you, just inches away from connecting with your face, so you try to gain control of their animation. Of course you can't really control them, the most you'd be able to do is stop their punch for a split second or move their swing off to the side. That is the most you could do in terms of animating a conscious person. They would regain their composure fairly quickly but that single moment would give you enough time to avoid that bow. The power is kind of passive in that it isn't aggressive, but isn't quite just defensive either.

This goes for live creatures as well, such as dogs and birds. Natural drive is just too strong. But he could control dead or incapacitated creatures, and to some degree, plant matter but to a much lesser extent.

Weaknesses: There isn't so much a weakness to the power as there are limits. He can only animate and control dead or incapacitated humans and animals. Some creatures, like certain insects, he can control simple because they haven't got much of a mind to resist with.

Burst Potential: Omicron

Other: Hairby dairby.

Basic Information

Name: Damon Viscous
Nicknames: When pushed, Damon and his sanity snaps which brings out his alter-ego that calls himself "Lieo".
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 165 lbs.

Appearance

Hair Color: Black and short cropped with widow's peak (clean shaven face)
Eye Color: Hazel
Nationality: Originally Canadian
Physical Appearance: He has a somewhat slouched posture during relaxed, casual occasions, but can stand up straight with shoulders broad at 5’11” when the situation calls for formality. The man’s build is average; he isn’t athletic, and he doesn’t have chiseled abs – but living on the run has kept him somewhat active so while he does have some body fat, it isn’t in excessive amounts. Damon’s complexion is rather fine actually, save for the occasional blemish or inflammation caused by irritation of the skin. One thing that an observant person would notice about him is that his fair skin doesn’t show. His hands are usually tucked in his pockets, his neck is wrapped in that bandana, all you can really see of him-him is his face and his hands, maybe the top of the back of his neck. His face, which, if he was working, would appear stern and his brows creased in concentration and forethought. Or he could be smiling, which shows off the dimples in his cheeks. Most often though, if you were to find him on the streets, he would look wary. Almost jumpy, even. Just by looking at him you can tell he isn’t a murderer or a crook though. More like a man with a terrible secret, a burden that weighs him down with every step he makes. In the Othergrounds though? He looks more self-conscious than anything - as if he's comfortable, but feels bad about it.

Attire: He has a worn down, brown leather jacket that appears to be riddled with holes, and beneath that is a simple white t-shirt, also appearing to have many holes in it. In fact, almost every piece of his clothing appears to have holes in it, even the black designer jeans (you probably shouldn’t ask him where he got it). The only exception there seems to be are these rough looking brown leather boots, that may or may not be steel toed, but I’m sure you wouldn’t want to find out. He also seems to have a white bandana with black print that’s tied loosely around his neck. As a matter of fact, it doesn’t appear to be there for any purpose other than just being there.

Personality

Innate Personality: In truth, Damon is in fact an introvert, rather having to sit back whilst in a group or in the company of peers, which are few in between. However, he hides this with the mask of a positive disposition. He lacks a kind of assertiveness while in casual interactions, and has one, maybe two friends if he’s lucky, that he can feel comfortable around. He feels haunted by his past, and he isn't proud of what he did to earn money before he found his place in the Othergrounds, but he doesn't regret his actions - what he regrets is the accident that occurred that had him hunted down in the first place. As a result, he is also afraid of getting close to people or getting into dangerous situations that he cannot control. It's out of fear of harming someone again and losing himself in the process. His intelligence is an outstanding factor. What he lacks in physical aptitude, he makes up for being a tech wiz. He even made his own computer and rigged a mobile wifi hotspot, which allows him to cruise the internet as fast as a roadrunner. While on the run, he has gotten by only because of a side job that he had (along with stealing occasionally). He is capable of hacking into computers and software, creating and deleting Trojans, and even creates spikes, USB’s and data chips to give to people. Technically, this is illegal. Despite what the upstanding citizen may think of him, he does have a great deal of morals and he does his best to abide by them. He has managed to go this many years without harming someone again, after all.

Outward Personality: Generally analytical and serious in his work place, he is oblivious to the world around him, nothing but pure concentration channeling into whatever he is doing. His intellect practically radiating off of him as his fingers blindingly zip around the keyboard of his computer. In this train of thought, he has an air of authority that he could never achieve on his own consciously. Almost as an alter-ego of his real self, while he's around company, he comes off as the sweetest and most thoughtful gentleman, which contrasts with the way he dresses. If young people are in danger, kids, even, he'll do what he can to help without ceasing. He becomes slightly more hesitant if there's actually someone or something threatening them.

Hobbies/Skills: Program, hack, repair, update, et cetera. If it's a computer, he can do almost anything with it.

History/Bio: Well, he was brought up in Canada until he was five, and then they moved to Boston where he stayed until he was six. That is when the bees started to follow him everywhere and burrow in his skin and turn him into a freak show. He was then a homeless, disowned child hiding back in the alleys where people (namely other kids) would throws rocks at him. When he moved into old or abandoned buildings, it was a matter of time until a cop found him and sprayed him with pepper spray. He has never had it easy, honestly, and Damon was once on the run from law enforcement because of: a. his mutant status, and b. a run in he had a long time ago. An accident occurred three years ago that involved the maiming and eventual death of a man that jumped him in a back alley once. Damon snapped, and the screaming that came afterward prompted an emergency call from a bystander. Which is the one memory that haunts him to this day.

When he was younger though, he was already pretty damn good with technology. When he was orphaned, he happened across a sociologist trying to emulate the Indian Hole in the Wall study, and there were computers outside the building. He would, at night, sneak out when no other kids or other homeless people were around and study the computers carefully. Over time, he got better; and he liked it. It brought some hope to his bleak world, and after years when by, he learned how to bypass most of the systems and firewalls. He learned the shortcuts and how to upgrade its capabilities. By the time he started getting chased, he had accumulated enough knowledge to steal a fancy computer from a store and a wifi router and upgrade them himself when he found time to obtain the parts. He hacked sites and made trojans and spikes for people in exchange for payment for almost two years and then the Othergrounds found him and took him in where he was given a place to work in one of the control rooms. He finally managed to adjust himself properly, and it looked like his life was finally turning around. Until the lights went out.

Abilities

Power: Damon is a living hive. Africanized bees infest his body, unbeknownst to the people around him. Inside of him are what could be hundreds upon thousands of bees, and they’re even crawling about in his clothes, which are the cause of the holes his clothes that he has tried desperately to replace, but new holes keep being torn open to allow easy access. He has since given up. It’s also the reason why he wears so much clothing in the first place, and covers his skin. Littered upon his body are holes. It’s like an underground system, from within his abdomen, his legs, his back, his arms, and even in the palms of his hands. The bees, since their initial occupancy, have ravaged much of the internal organs of Damon’s body to point of non-functionality. What remains is his digestive system, respiration system, most of his circulatory system (which damaged much of his nervous system), and his head remains free of infestation. His reproduction system (due to the bees inhabiting most of the abdomen) has been damaged to the point that any actual reproduction would be impossible.

Damon has, to the slightest extent, extrasensory or telepathic abilities that allow him control over the insects that dwells within his body. The bees follow every one of his demands like a mindless robot, like pawns on a chess board. He also releases a specific pheromone that appeals to bees in the surrounding vicinity and lures them to him, and it also negates the pheromone that the queen bee has that keeps other female bees from reproducing. So, if allowed, he could be surrounded by a mass of writhing bugs with pointy stingers of colossal size. However, that would increase the rate of physical and mental deterioration. The fewer bugs he keeps occupied inside him, the means of self-defense decreases, but his humanity would be preserved a little longer. The more he has, his means of self-defense if astronomical, but his humanity would deteriorate faster. So it would only be a matter of time until he “dies” before he completely cracks and goes insane.

Since he is full of bees, he can adopt certain properties of them. Insects have natural strength in comparison to size, so he could be a little stronger. He could command them to hoist him into the air and allow him to fly. If he wanted to, and I doubt he does, he could shoot a stream of bees at the landing skids of a helicopter and send it crashing into the ground (reference). So, depending on the situation, he is capable of being a badass. Obviously, this ability is a mixed bag. A big down side is that, like said before, his body and mind is deteriorating. Body is obvious, with those holes in his body and all. The bees, at a certain point, planted themselves along the central nervous system and at the very edge of the brain stem. Think really hard about what that might turn into. Although he practically has complete control, there are some, incidents, so to speak, that can occur. A great deal of stress and anger can cause him to crack just a bit and make him go batshit for a minute or so. Any means of telepathy or mind reading also upsets the bees in the body which generates stress on Damon as well. So psychic powers can make him crack as well. Although this protects him from mind reading and telepathy to some extent, it is an uncomfortable experience that everyone would wish to avoid.

He also has very minor regenerative abilities. Bees have been known to cook surrounding wasps alive by surrounding them and raising their temperature. Using this natural ability, Damon can slightly cauterize wounds and kill off very minor infections.

Weaknesses: Well for one, they're bees. Grab a flamethrower or something. But aside from the obvious, Damon does suffer from gradual mental and physical deterioration.

Other: When he snaps and Lieo takes over, his physical prowess is notably more significant. This is because Lieo uses much less restraint than Damon.
