Paul Hewlett

General Information

Name: Paul Hewlett
Gender: Male
Age: 17
World Origin: Human
Identity: Seer

Height: 6’5”
Weight: 212.5 lbs.
Eye Color: Amber
Hair Color: Light Brown
Alignment: Barrier

Personal Information

Appearance: Paul in appearance is easily described as being tall and athletic-looking. With a slighter frame than most, he does not appear to be predisposed to having muscle, and therefore one can only suppose that he lives a very active lifestyle to maintain the musculature he has. He has a slightly darker skin tone, but he cannot be regarded as deeply tanned, despite the fact. He has a long neck, and a triangular shape to his face, with an aquiline nose, defined cheekbones, and a prominent brow, leaving little room for any softness in his sharp, angular features. His eyes, however, are very large almonds in shape, with a gleaming amber color that makes them look orange or yellow in bright light, but a light shade of brown in others. He has long, thick eyelashes that make his gaze particularly striking. Due to good oral hygiene, Paul’s teeth are pearly white and almost perfectly straight, though they are seldom seen, because he rarely smiles enough to show his teeth, if he smiles at all, as he frequently frowns, as though in deep concentration on some inner thought. Paul wears his straight, silky, light-brown hair in a medium-length hairstyle that consists of a part on the left side.

Paul’s typical attire is generally not that noticeable, although he does appear to have his own sense of style to it. He generally wears a black long-sleeve fleece jacket over a bright yellow T-shirt, which is there for the sole purpose of keeping him from looking completely monochrome. He also generally wears any kind of jeans, with plain black and white running shoes with thick rubber soles that are a bright yellow, matching his overall outfit. Regardless of the weather, Paul wears long sleeves and jeans, even if it is suffocating because of warm weather. This is done in order to hide the fact that Paul is a Seer, and an adept warrior who fights against Dark Spirits. He has multiple scars and bruises on his arms, legs, and body at any time, many of which looks like the bruises left by unnaturally large hands, or healed wounds that were made by claws and teeth. He may also have multiple bandages, on any part of himself where a recent injury is present.

When fighting against Dark Spirits, regardless if he is in human or spiritual form, Paul wears what appears to be black armor that allows ease of movement, consisting of leather pads that form a breastplate, and also extend to cover his shoulder blades and upper back, shoulders, and arms, as well as other sensitive areas. These larger pads are laced together by smaller, woven strips of leather that make the armor flexible, but overall look like one piece. He wears a matching belt with a black sword sheath ornamented with pressed designs, which contains what appears to be a kind of shimmering silver katana blade with a simple black leather grip, although upon closer inspection, there appear to be strange white symbols that dance across the surface of the sword, indicating it is warded with a variety of spells, charms, and seals. Paul’s leather armor also boasts a black hood, which can be pulled over the head to conceal Paul’s face, and often, Paul wears a featureless black mask, with holes that allow the nose to breathe and show the eyes. The only ornamentation on the mask is small canary yellow outlines that surround the eyes, accenting their appearance, and a single dash of yellow between the eyes that runs down the center of the forehead.

Personality: Paul is a very quiet, loner sort of person, the kind of guy who has a small circle of friends, but doesn’t get as involved with them as other members of the group, preferring to keep to himself versus attending social gatherings, often only seeing them during school, and seldom meeting them outside of a school environment. Because of his battle scars, he will often avoid at all costs social events such as staying at another person’s home, or going to a swimming event or one that requires wearing a uniform that won’t completely cover his arms and legs. He does this solely because people might ask questions, and he can’t easily give an answer without revealing his identity as a Seer. Due to having more stresses than just an average teen his age, Paul has a tendency to lean towards a serious personality, and having to carefully cover up the secret side of his life, he easily hides much of his inner thought processes, displaying a deadpan sense of humor, and wearing a characteristic scowl on his face, barely cracking a smile if he finds something amusing. He does on occasion act serious to the point that he is unable to detect sarcasm, but because of his overall personality, people can’t have fun at his expense, nor would they want to, as Paul is a very tall, strong individual, who can be seen as intimidating when angry. Slow to anger over silly things, however, Paul is often calm and indifferent about normal offenses, not really caring either way. Despite his somewhat aloof or cold nature, Paul is actually quite involved in his work, and much of the time he spends alone, when he isn’t devoted to his duties as a Seer, is done studying, making him one of the better students in his classes. Capable of keeping his spiritual energy curbed and hidden, for the most part, he often isn’t bothered by spirits during the day, but when one happens to come by and notice that he can see him, he will often grow irritated if they start to pester him.

When fighting as a Seer, Paul becomes somewhat different than the person he is as a normal high school student, due to the lack of restraint he feels. He dons black leather armor, pulls a hood over his head, and wears a mysterious black mask with slight flashes of yellow around the eyes and forehead, though only one who is truly observant would recognize black and yellow as his overall signature colors that would tie his disguised Seer persona as the person he is in the general public. Paul becomes much more daring and aggressive in nature, as he is not hiding what he is, and retains the attitude that others shouldn’t get involved in what he’s doing, because they’re just going to get hurt. Only Seers can see the supernatural, after all, and fighting a Dark spirit is fighting an invisible monster that only applies to the sense of touch, if you aren’t under the same category as Paul. He tends to say little when ‘working’, as he simply puts it, and refuses to give his identity. He will, however, often speak to spiritual beings, more so than the living.

There are times when Paul will completely separate from his physical body, which renders him invisible to all but those capable of seeing the supernatural, and his real body, the one everyone can see, is rendered a hollow shell. Paul seldom does this, however, because his body is vulnerable in this state.

Biography: (History will be revealed during the story)

Family: Paul’s mother and father are both middle-class workers, and often aren’t home. An only child at the age of seventeen, they trust Paul to take care of himself, and due to their lack of attentiveness, don’t even know their son is a Seer.

Relationships: Paul has four male friends in his school: Todd, Michael, Erin, and Lee, all of whom are regarded by him as close friends, though they often do not interact with Paul outside of a school environment, and seldom see him in public places where one would normally expect to spot someone they knew, such as store plazas or local sports areas. All four are completely unaware of Paul’s ability to see the supernatural, or his identity as a Seer.

Nicholas Bryce, in secret an Alchemist prodigy at his young age, is a teen who one day accidentally came in contact with Paul after he was injured in battle with a Dark Spirit. He assisted Paul by tending the Seer’s wounds, but before Nicholas could take Paul to proper medical facilities (He couldn’t use alchemy, or it would blow his own secret), the strange, masked warrior, who didn’t give his name, vanished. Nicholas didn’t see Paul again, but chances are; they will meet again later, as they happen to attend the same high school.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Paul is well-known for his tendency to concentrate deeply on something. He can easily study for a test, and doesn’t have to do very much of it, as he quickly learns and memorizes what is taught in his class. Despite this, though, people at school will seldom be aware of his ability to study, so it isn’t very well-known. Paul has secretly at his disposal a wide variety of incredible skills that he honed due to being a Seer who actively fights Dark Spirits. He has vast knowledge of seals that can have a wide variety of effects, ranging from repelling spiritual creatures or attracting them, to enhancing the effectiveness of a weapon, or decreasing the effectiveness of an attack. His physical skills would rival that of a professional stuntman or warrior, and he knows how to do just about everything, ranging from Acrobatics to High Jumps. He is also a very capable fighter, having considerable unarmed combat skills. He is also very skilled in wielding a katana blade. Most of these secret abilities Paul has are unrelated to his powers, but can be enhanced by them, and almost all are liked to his duties as a Seer.

Powers: As a Seer, Paul has the remarkable ability to see through the Barrier and recognize the supernatural. This means that he can see all manner of dead spirits that have not yet passed on into whatever afterlife they belong to, the supernatural beings he has the most dealings with. He can also, however, immediately tell if a person or creature is actually a demon, fay, or mythical creature in disguise, recognizing its aura as unusual or different. He cannot, however, actually tell what the creature is until it reveals its true form or identity. Paul is capable of creating seals or spells that work quite effectively against spiritual beings, something most average humans are unable to achieve.

Paul’s second ability, which he doesn’t use as often, due to the risks to himself, is that he is a high enough level of skill as a Seer to separate his spirit from his body. Once shedding his physical form, Paul gains enhanced strength, agility, and speed, and also, as a spirit, becomes invisible to all humans aside from other Seers. This is useful for handling a Dark Spirit that attacks in a populated area.

Strengths: Paul’s Seer powers means that he can immediately detect supernatural beings in disguise, and he is also capable of seeing and hearing spirits, a power no other human possesses. In his spiritual form, he is invisible to humans, just like the Dark Spirits he fights. He is also quite skilled in combat and overall any athletic pursuit, and he has knowledge of many different spells that can affect Spirits, Demons, and Fay.

Weaknesses: As a Seer, Paul, despite all his remarkable skills, is still only a human, he naturally has no sort of enhanced abilities in his human form aside from his ability to detect the supernatural. This means that wounds that are fatal to a human will typically also be fatal to Paul. He loses these weaknesses if he chooses to don his spirit form, but during this time, his body will become an inanimate, hollow shell, as though he were in a coma. His body is incredibly vulnerable, and must be kept in a safe place when he is not inside of it.

Nicholas Bryce

General Information

Name: Nicholas Bryce
Gender: Male
Age: 16
World Origin: Human
Identity: Alchemist

Height: 5’8”
Weight: 140.2lbs.
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Black
Alignment: Barrier

Personal Information

Appearance: Nicholas is a particularly bookish-looking sort of person. With his pale skin offset by a pink cast, and raven-black hair paired with deep, emerald-green eyes, one might think him somewhat attractive, except for the way he dresses. He has an oblong face with a defined jaw, but the rest of his features are much softer and muted in appearance. With large, round eyes, the startling green colors of his irises peering past long eyelashes is difficult not to notice by itself. His hands are sometimes regarded as more feminine than masculine, being more delicate, with long, tapered fingertips that are somewhat aristocratic in appearance. Nicolas’ thick, wavy black hair has an incredibly healthy sheen to it, and he grows it out long as it is a nice feature. His hair falls just past his chin, and it is parted down the center, notable cowlicks that are naturally present keeping it out of his face.

In regards to attire, Nicholas is incredibly nearsighted, and so he is unable to see clearly without corrective lenses. Therefore, he wears glasses that are often regarded as old-fashioned, being perfectly round silver wire-frame spectacles that look like they came out of the 1900’s, although they somehow fit his typical style, overall. These glasses often take away from his eyes in regards to overall appearance, as they tend to reflect light and make seeing his eyes more difficult for others. He tends to wear simple mottled grey t-shirts under a muted hoodless cargo jacket, which has a color that falls somewhere between swamp green and grey in color. The cargo jacket has four pockets, and has buttons, which goes over a silver zipper down the front. Nicholas wears plain blue jeans most of the time, as well as white running shoes with red rubber soles and highlights, over plain white socks. In his pockets Nicholas carries around a pair of black cotton gloves that each has a single, different transmutation circle stitched into the back with red thread, as well as multiple pieces of chalk for drawing transmutation circles by hand. The pockets are buttoned up to keep average people from finding out about them.

Personality: Nicholas, as his appearance suggests, is a very bookish person, often having little to no interaction with other people, preferring reading a good story or studying to conversation. As a result, he is generally at the very top of his classes, and almost always memorizes whatever he reads out of a book, partially because he simply enjoys reading. His scholarly nature is heavily indicated by the way he talks to an average person, often using very large, complicated words that the person may or may not know. It is often mentioned that one may need a dictionary in order to carry on a conversation with Nicholas, who prefers people to use his full name, versus simply calling him ‘Nick’. He also understands Latin, having doggedly pursued learning the language. He doesn’t have a lot of friends because of his tendency to refrain from social contact, although people generally recognize his appearance, and may notice him in a variety of places outside of school. These appearances are nonexistent during the weekends or during a school break, however.

In private, Nicholas has a growing secret library filled with books solely composed of notes and discoveries about alchemy, having any subject one can think of regarding the art. These books include many handwritten notes done in Nicholas’ hand, detailing transmutation circles, their effects, the power required, and so on. There are also notes he has made detailing substances, the results of certain transmutations, and generally, indicate findings that arose from very careful research. This ‘library’ is a room that his family has in the basement, which also serves as Nicholas’ bedroom, as he has a messy, unmade one over in one corner. Because of the fact that Nicholas is clearly an Alchemist prodigy, his special talent is known by his parents, who help keep his secret. Because Nicholas is incredibly good at alchemy, and carefully maintains his room and his bookshelves, as well as the fact that he always makes perfect grades, his parents do not mind whenever their son holes up in the basement.

Nicholas is generally quiet and avoids social interaction, but overall, he won’t reject the presence of other people, and can be quite talkative in a conversation. He has a deep passion for Alchemy, but always manages to conceal his secret hobby, instead trading Alchemy for the subject of physics. A surprisingly empathetic sort of person, Nicholas is known to deeply care about people, and even animals. He doesn’t strike one as a violent person, nor is he, though he is capable of being quite destructive with his talents.

Biography: (To be learned later)

Family: Nicolas’ mother and father, while not as involved as they could be in their son’s life, are completely aware of his talent and uniquely high level of skill in regards to Alchemy, despite his age. Because of this, they protect their son by not permitting guests down in the basement which also serves as Nicholas’ room/Alchemist library. They also do not complain when their son retreats for long hours into the basement, as they are aware that he is actively studying theories that they are unlikely to understand, or even replicate with normal science. They also do not mind their son being away from home long after dark, as he is capable of defending himself quite easily.

Relationships: One night, when his parents weren’t home, Nicholas was out in the park collecting various examples of plant life for use in future alchemy experiments, when he accidentally stumbled upon a black-clad warrior of some sort, who concealed his appearance with a hood and black mask, the only ornamentation being simple bright canary yellow markings around the eyes and down the forehead. There was a badly damaged tree near the warrior, which looked as though it had been torn up by some sort of unusual animal. The warrior, likewise, was badly injured, but being awake, he refused to let Nicholas learn his identity. Nicholas, however, being a kind-hearted soul, took the stranger back home while his parents were still out, and mended his wounds, figuring the stranger to be around his own age. Nicholas intended to call medical help for the stranger, but he promptly left. Nicholas cleaned up the mess left by the stranger’s blood, and unsure of what to do, remained silent, though he constantly thinks about the incident, wondering what it meant.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Nicholas is capable of hunting down any scrap of information about a given subject, regardless of how obscure or miniscule the given evidence is. This is due to the elusive nature of Alchemy research, which makes complex everyday subjects look like child’s play. As a result, someone can give Nicholas any bit of information to work with, and be confident that he will dig more info up about the subject than they thought could be possibly found. Nicholas also understands Latin, which makes looking into Alchemic research itself much easier a task, if original notes were done in the language. Along with this knowledge comes extensive knowledge about scientific subjects. Nicholas is also, surprisingly, a very good cook, claiming that as a master of science, it is important to master cooking, also.

Powers: Nicholas, as an Alchemist, is capable of changing the form of something by rearranging it on an atomic level, though matter can be neither created nor destroyed, and in order to obtain something, something of equal value must first be sacrificed. A young prodigy that can rival even the most skilled Alchemists who are much older than he is, Nicholas can perform a very wide variety of high-level transmutations, and generally, if there is any sort of rebound or failure, he is much less likely to suffer any negative effects. Nicholas has memorized a very large number of different transmutation circles, and can therefore do many incredible and complex things. His good memory and natural artistic touch allows him to rapidly draw even very detailed transmutation circles, therefore he takes much less time to transmute things than others. He always carries around chalk to draw circles, and he also carries black gloves with circles stitched in. His right glove allows Nicholas to instantly create a chemical reaction, such as a blast of fire, and his left glove allows Nicholas to pull water out of the air and bring it back to a liquid state. The gloves are used for immediate defensive purposes.

Strengths: Nicholas is a very good researcher, and a prodigy Alchemist who is readily capable of performing transmutations that are considered far too advanced for the average person his age. He is capable of performing very powerful works of Alchemy on a large scale without suffering negative effects, and most other Alchemists with less skill are not ready to do things on par with him without taking considerable risks. His knowledge about Alchemy makes it much easier for him to read original texts regarding his chosen subject.

Weaknesses: Despite being a very powerful alchemist, Nicholas is still only a sixteen-year-old boy, and has all the general weaknesses of an average human being. What will kill a human can kill Nicholas, and without his alchemy and transmutations Nicholas is just a very smart kid. There is also the greatest detriment that he has no idea how to fight, though he has the tools to protect himself from danger. Nonviolent, Nicholas is often left stunned by violent or aggressive acts, and may even freeze up, unsure of how to process the situation without help.

Shayla Adela Geld

General Information

Name: Shayla Adela Geld
Gender: Female
Age: 32 (Physically 18)
World Origin: Supernatural
Identity: Demon/Fay

Height: 5’7”
Weight: 133lbs.
Eye Color: Dark Brown (Human), Gold (Demon/Fay)
Hair Color: Auburn (Human), Iridescent Black (Demon/Fay)
Alignment: Barrier

Personal Information

Appearance: Shayla Adela Geld is for the most part a beautiful woman in her human form, boasting a muscular-looking hourglass shape that would make most people envious. Aside from her somewhat taller-than-average height, she has multiple pretty features, and doesn’t appear to be distinguishable from any average human being, only Seers or other Supernatural beings being able to tell the difference. With incredibly pale skin and auburn hair, Shayla automatically strikes most people as being of Irish descent, if they were to guess her heritage. She has an oval-shaped face, and a completion that consists of a cute nose, full lips, high cheekbones, and dramatic, arching eyebrows that give her eyes much definition. Her almond-shaped eyes are a dark shade of brown, and are framed by long, thick eyelashes, though they are the same auburn color as her hair. Shayla’s long, wavy hair falls down to the middle of her back, and is well-groomed, sleek, and free of frayed ends or tangles.

In her demon form, Shayla’s appearance changes relatively little in regards to body shape or bone structure, although what changes do occur are extremely noticeable, and no less dramatic. Shayla’s hair turns a deep, shiny black, and has a silky texture to it, as well as an iridescent sheen, much like a raven’s. Her eyes also change, the normally white color of the sclera turning a deep shade of solid red that has nothing to deal with the eyes being bloodshot, and the pupils turning a bright, gleaming gold, clearly striking one as an inhuman feature. Shayla’s teeth grow sharp and pointed, and the canines, in particular, elongate into fangs that have a tendency to poke out from the corners of her mouths, due to a slight overbite. Her fingernails sharpen to become long, black, and hooked, like the talons of a bird of prey, and her toenails also darken to black, and develop a point, but are more like the blunt claws found on the toes of an ostrich, built for quick running. Shayla tends to walk with a hunched-over posture in this form, and sometimes may even lapse into a quadruped form of movement.

Regardless of what form she takes, Shayla’s dress remains the same, she wears a comfortable short-sleeved cotton t-shirt that is grey in color, underneath a light black hoodie, along with matching black yoga pants with pockets, and white stripes running down the legs. When she is in human form, she wears black running shoes with white socks, but she tends to take them off when in her demon form to allow ease of movement.

Personality: Rough and abrasive, Shayla is the last person that someone would expect to be classified as a Fay. With full knowledge of all the factions, both in the supernatural and human worlds, Shayla is aware of a lot more than most Meta-Humans, Seers, and Alchemists, and generally, due to the human’s lack of awareness, she tends to regard them as though they were naïve, with no knowledge of how the world actually worked. Therefore, it is not uncommon for Shayla to be heavily tempted to interfere with the actions of one of these groups, if she is aware that they are doing something dangerous that could potentially get them killed. Although she will usually at first adopt a ‘wait and see’ attitude about a situation, if she feels strongly enough that the person is in a hopeless situation, she won’t have any second thoughts about jumping in and rescuing them from whatever mess they’re in. This could range from slashing a transmutation circle being used by an Alchemist to viciously charging in and attacking a Dark Spirit before it can strike a final blow against a Seer. Afterwards, she will typically either wait to see if the person she rescued will take off, fleeing in terror, or if they’re actually brave enough to talk to her, though she generally expects the former, more so than the latter.

Shayla is generally taken much more lightly than she should, possibly because as a Demon/Fay, she doesn’t age as quickly as a normal human, and therefore appears to be at the physical age of eighteen, when she is in reality in her early thirties. She often won’t reveal this fact to most people, though, due to the fact that the younger generations of humans tend to keep everything a secret from their older peers. Overall, she will generally show a flash of temper in reaction to nobody believing her word over their own, even if she probably does know better. She will generally forgive people for almost any offense, though, despite giving them a vicious scolding after she pulls them out of whatever situation they got into. Fiercely loyal, and more selfless than she gives herself credit for, Shayla may be harsh, but she’s a hard person not to like.

Biography: (To be learned later)

Family: None

Relationships: None

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Most of Shayla’s skills are the direct result of her powers, although due to her identity as a Fay/Demon, she is blessed with extensive knowledge of all the known factions, not just the supernatural, but a lot of information about Alchemists, Meta-Humans, and Seers, also. Even though she cannot use them herself, Shayla can immediately identify a wide variety of different seals that a Seer may use, and the same goes for a large number of transmutation circles used by Alchemists. She is also aware that Meta-humans can enhance their powers using certain techniques, essentially making her an effective strategist. Shayla has relatively good unarmed combat skills, but she doesn’t know how to use a weapon.

Powers: As a Demon/Fay, Shayla is gifted with supernatural powers, that range from identifying the supernatural world, much like a Seer (Though she isn’t as sensitive to the presences of beings nearby), to incredible combat skills, and even some talents normally only restricted to spirits. Although all but her ability to detect the supernatural is restricted when in her human form, Shayla has many powers in her Demon/Fay form. First, Shayla is gifted with supernaturally enhanced capabilities, being able to run at the high speed of seventy miles per hour, without easily tiring, and having enough strength to do things such as lift a car, or break through a relatively thick concrete wall with brute force. Her talons are sharp enough to slice through stone, and appear to have more effect on spirits than normal weapons. Her endurance is much greater than a normal human, and she tends to heal more quickly from injuries, and can survive ones that would more likely kill a human. Overall, these abilities would suggest she is more powerful than just a Meta-Human. She also notably has a powerful sense of smell in her demon form, though the same enhanced senses do not appear to extend to her hearing or sight.

Strengths: Shayla can detect supernatural beings if they are close by, and in her Demon/Fay form, she can run at high speeds, and is capable of incredible strength and power in combat. She can track things across long distances via smell, and has endurance that allows her to survive things that would incapacitate a normal human. She also heals somewhat faster from any injuries she receives. Her talons are similar to a charmed Seer weapon, being much more effective against Dark Spirits than any other creature.

Weaknesses: As a Fay/Demon, Shayla may possess more power against a spiritual enemy, but she also has the same weaknesses as one. The seals used by a Seer, while not affecting a generic Mythical Being, will have full effect on Shayla because of the nature of her kind. Therefore, she is often unable to physically touch a Seer weapon, or anything charmed by a Seer to repel spirits, without feeling an extensive amount of pain, which can be so intense that it is crippling, depending on the seal. Seer weapons have a greater effect on Shayla than on other factions. Shayla also cannot use any of her abilities aside from supernatural detection without taking on her true form, which she cannot do in public. Her supernatural detection is not as strong as a Seer’s, and she cannot detect a presence for a strong distance, or identify the nature of a supernatural being, like a Seer can.

People will also tend to take Shayla lightly, due to her physical appearance, which is hard for most humans to understand.

Opal Graham

General Information

Name: Opal Graham
Gender: Female
Age: 18
World Origin: Supernatural
Identity: Mythical Creature

Height: 5’6”
Weight: 110lbs.
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Blonde (Human), Iridescent White (Longma)
Alignment: Barrier

Personal Information

Appearance: Opal Graham is a rather average-looking person in her human form, overall. Of a height that is normal for a girl her age, the only specific features that stand out is that she has a skinny, wiry frame, appearing to be athletic, although more lean than heavily built. Overall, she has very long limbs, as well as a long neck. She has a triangle-shaped face, with a somewhat wide mouth, a patrician nose of sorts with a pronounced bridge, and large, round eyes. Her eyes themselves are an incredibly intense shade of light blue, but her eyelashes, despite being long, aren’t readily visible, due to being blonde in color. Opal’s straight, flaxen-blonde hair, free of any color, is cut in a sort of layered, feathered bob, which comes down at the longest part to just past her chin. Overall, Opal’s beauty isn’t really in her appearance, though, but in her movements, which are like long, graceful strides of sorts.

In her Mythical Creature true form, Opal is revealed to be a Longma, a fabled winged horse with dragon scales that is commonly mentioned in Chinese Mythology. Overall, Opal’s true form is much in size and appearance like an Akhal-Teke, for a human reference. In horse measurements, Opal is 16 hands at the withers, or shoulder (5.3 Feet), and has a rather lean build, and somewhat thinner skin, enough so that the bumps of ribs are slightly visible, and all the muscles of the body are much more defined, much like a ‘greyhound’ of horses, although she is not underweight, and naturally does not have much fat. Her limbs are regarded as powerful and strong, yet maintain a long, graceful appearance. What sets Opal apart from a regular horse, though, is readily apparent. Her entire body is covered with sleek, iridescent white scales, which, depending on the light cast on them, flash brilliant shades of green, blue, orange, red, and yellow, suggesting that her name came from her appearance, which resembles an opal stone. Segmented plates run down starting at the base of her chin to her belly. Her hair has transformed into a long, feathered white mane, which iridescently reflects light, much like the rest of her body. Her tail, which remains like a normal horses’ is likewise white and iridescent. Her hooves are pale pink in color, due to her naturally pale coloration. Opal’s face, despite somewhat resembling a horse, is what makes her appear somewhat dragon-like. Her mouth is much wider than a regular horse, and instead of flat, herbivorous teeth, there are sharp, serrated teeth like a carnivore’s. Scales running up her nose grow larger, and between scaly horse-like ears sprout a pair of spiraling, curled horns, which are pale pink, like her hooves. Opal’s eyes remain the same glimmering blue, but are more reptilian, having slit pupils instead of round ones. From Opal’s shoulders sprouts a gigantic pair of dragon-like wings, having four fingers that have the membrane stretched between them, and three fingers and a thumb at the ends of the wings that serve as a pair of hands, although these hands are not as flexible or strong as a human hand. Despite these changes, Opal still retains the ability to speak.

Personality: Opal, for the most part, is a voice of reason, being a kind of glue that can keep almost any group together, no matter what sort of problems the people in it might encounter that shakes their resolve or leaves them feeling resentment towards one another. For this very reason, Opal is regarded most often as an optimist, as well as a pacifist. Most people, despite appreciating her good intentions, are under the misconception that she lacks the stomach to endure a fight or dangerous situation, also. This is not so, and despite her generally gentle, peaceful nature, Opal can be incredibly fierce when threatened, and quite a match for any attacker. One who carefully considers in a situation all her options, she rapidly devises a way to defeat her enemy with the least amount of risk to her own safety, although this never involves treating allies as expendable, but rather involves a series of carefully planned attacks. Opal tries to remain cautious in almost any situation.

Despite her tendency to be polite and kind, even in decidedly awkward situations, Opal is on certain occasions known to become worried or alarmed by others, although not exactly outright furious. She often grows upset when her friends take needless risks and drag her or others into a situation, without thinking about what might happen, first. She is also, notably, highly sensitive about what she is as a creature. While she is happy to be called a beautiful mare, or the proper name of Longma, and is even not offended by being called a horse at times, she is known to become blindingly furious if called a pony, under any circumstances. Even if the term was not directed to her, even the slightest mention of the word ‘pony’, is taken as a highly offensive insult, and whoever the person is that made the offense, is subject to being trampled or kicked by a powerful set of hooves, as well as one of her angry rages. This is the only thing that is known to make her truly, genuinely angry to the point that her judgment is clouded.

Biography: (Will Be Revealed Later)

Family: None

Relationships: Shayla Adela Geld is a friend of Opal’s, and the latter generally regards the two as a team, although Shayla does not exactly have the same opinion, seeing as the two have limited contact with one another, and typically aren’t around one another to know much past general information. Opal and Shayla most often meet when Shayla gets into a risky conflict, which makes Opal incredibly worried. Overall, though, there’s not really anything negative between the two, and Shayla tolerates Opal.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: As a clear-minded and empathetic person, Opal is well-known for her ability to pinpoint the cause of distress in a person and make it known, and generally, is the best candidate if one needed a person to settle an argument, or solve conflict. When she is present, even the most aggressive or different of people can find themselves getting along, and generally, without her, a lot of groups would fall apart rather fast. Her ability to read a person is also notable in that she’s like a living lie detector. She can’t be fooled that easily, although it is possible.

Powers: As a Longma, Opal possesses powers that overall come from both horses and dragons. Having a build that is, from all accounts, nearly identical to that of a very sturdy and fast breed of horse, Opal is capable of running at incredible speeds for an incredibly long amount of time, without tiring, and in addition, can go much longer than an average human without needing water, generally taking more time to suffer the effects of dehydration. Overall, she can survive on very little food or water, not much is needed to maintain her health, therefore, if provisions are an issue, she doesn’t tend to be the main cause of the problem. Despite how fine her limbs may seem, they are actually very sturdy and strong, and as a result, Opal’s kicks can very easily snap even the strongest of bones, although most are unsure if it is her dragon or horse powers that make her own bones so difficult to break. Possessing wings, Opal has the ability to fly, although due to the nature of her wings, she is built more for maneuverability in flight, than for speed, although air travel is definitely swifter in some cases. Opal’s horns allow her to charge her enemies and gore them, using them as weapons, and her bite, due to having sharp teeth, also has much effect. Her greatest power, however, is that Opal can breathe fire, like a dragon. Opal’s flames do not come out soft or gentle, but rather, in a powerful jet like a flamethrower, with enough intensity to melt solid rock within seconds, and even, over a certain period of time, melt through steel. Opal is also coated in fireproof scales, making her immune to all flame attacks.

Strengths: Opal is very fast and has high endurance, needing little food or water to survive. She is capable of maneuverable flight, and a blow from her hooves can break bones. She is capable of breathing flames capable of melting steel, and her scales are fireproof.

Weaknesses: Opal can’t breathe fire if her head gets wet, and generally, she grows comically furious if called a pony under any circumstances.

Marshall Copeland

General Information

Name: Marshall Copeland
Gender: male
Age: 46
World Origin: human
Identity: seer

Height: 6’1”
Weight: 210 lbs
Eye Color: brown
Hair Color: black
Alignment: Barrier

Personal Information

Appearance: Marshall is a foreboding-looking man. Though he doesn’t look it, he is very muscular and tough, a result of hunting monsters for over 30 years. Marshall’s skin is a cocoa brown color (he’s black, obviously) and his hair is black with occasional patches of grey in it. His hair is kept short and close to his head (one less thing for a monster to grab onto). Marshall’s eyes are black as coal, and constantly have this sort of lifeless, uncaring quality to them. He is obviously a man who has been through a lot. Resting low on Marshall’s nose is his round rimless glasses. On Marshall’s lip is a thick black mustache that looks like it belongs on the lip of a gunslinger in an old west movie. Marshall’s body is covered with a patchwork of scars from his years of fighting, the most prevalent one being a slash across the left side of his throat, about an inch from his jugular. He’s obviously had some close calls in his career. Marshall pretty much wears the same thing every day. His dress composes of a white button-down dress shirt with the collar open, a pair of dark brown trousers, a matching brown vest, a pair of black leather boots, his trademark black wool trench coat, and a black stetson that almost never leaves his head. At Marshall’s waist is always a thick brown leather belt, the buckle of which looks like Medusa’s head.

Personality: Marshall seems to have almost two completely different personalities, depending on what situation he’s in. When he’s not fighting, Marshall has a kind aura about him of a wise mentor. He has a lot of patience with people, especially those learning something new, and a long attention span. Though he has no sense of humor whatsoever, Marshall can often be a fun person to be around, constantly telling fun stories about his adventures or coming up with interesting conversation topics for around the dinner table. He can be very compassionate as well, and is a great person to talk to about problems. He is very intelligent as well, making him a good tutor. Yet, despite his kind demeanor, he never laughs and very rarely smiles, as if something terrible is hiding under his skin, cloaked in his kind demeanor.

The second side of Marshall is not nearly as kind. When Marshall or anyone else is under attack, Marshall switches into kill mode. Marshall the Warrior is a merciless assassin with a very short fuse and a whole lotta gunpowder. When Marshall fights, the black hatred buried deep inside him bursts out. He is extremely violent and ruthless. He has been known to have spared a monster only once, in the case of Drake Smith, but that’s a story for another day. When Marshall fights, he’s fighting as if for revenge of some sort. It’s almost as if whatever he is fighting was personally responsible for everything bad in his long life of pain. Death does not phase him in either personality, and gore is almost commonplace. He seems to deal extremely well with grief, though the death of a loved one puts him in his angry state for long periods of time or until he finds and swiftly executes whoever killed them. The speed in which Marshall can switch between his two almost entirely separate personalities is astonishing, and often scares people. Though, if Marshall gets in too dramatic or too violent a fight, he will often spend several hours in that angry state.

Biography: Marshall comes from a long lineage of monster hunters, dating back to the late 13th century when his ancestor Sir John Copeland (who was a Seer) smithed Celsion and used it to slay the demon Legion. Marshall was born in the New Orleans countryside in a manor that he still lives in to this day. He was raised to be a hunter, and trained through much of his childhood. He grew up very much in the shadow of his older brother Daniel, who was a natural hunter. When Marshall was sixteen, he went on his first hunt with his brother and father. The monster was a dark spirit that was living in the Lalaurie manor in New Orleans. It was the ghost of one of Madame Lalaurie’s servants, a slave who was experimented on by her and turned into a horrid monster. Marshall killed the ghost himself, saving his brother from being killed by it. Marshall spent the next ten years of his life hunting with his father and brother until his father retired, leaving Marshall and Daniel in charge of the hunting business. Five years later, Daniel went missing, Marshall was crushed, and spent three more years scouring the country for his brother. To this day, Daniel Copeland is still missing. Marshall almost quit hunting, until his father was killed by a dark spirit who appeared one day in Copeland Manor. Marshall brutally slaughtered the dark spirit, and wept for his father for days. He had lost his only true friend in the world. This is what he thinks of when he hunts, what turns him into a laser-focused killing machine. He still holds that vengeance in his heart, even after fifteen years of growing in skill and wisdom. It is his driving force in life to vanquish demons and dark spirits in the name of his father.

Family: Marshall’s wife is dead, as is his father. His mother died when he was very young, and he doesn’t remember her. Marshall has a brother named Daniel, though he went missing about 15 years ago.  He has two children, an elder girl and a younger boy. The girl is a hunter herself, making her father proud, and the boy, Daniel (named after Marshall’s lost brother) is in law school. Not all are cut out for the life of a hunter.

Relationships: I don’t know if I’m going to use any other characters from Saints and Sinners here, so I can’t fill this out yet.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Marshall is a stone cold assassin with nearly any weapon. He is trained in everything from 19th century breech-loading rifles to machine guns. He is deadly accurate with most firearms, and is skilled in sword fighting, allowing him to use many weapons (machetes, daggers, hatchets, etc). He is well-versed in several forms of martial arts, such as karate, taekwondo, and Jiu Jitsu. Basically, Marshall knows what he’s doing with just about anything. He also plays guitar and can speak French, Latin, and a bit of Hebrew (in addition to English, of course).

Powers: Being a Seer, Marshall has the ability to see spirits, both dark and light. Being an experienced seer with over 30 years of fighting dark spirits, demons, and other assorted monsters, Marshall has learned the ability to separate his ethereal form from his physical one. His ethereal form is supernaturally strong and can run at around 60 miles per hour.

Strengths: Marshall has a lot going for him. He is at peak physical condition (for a 46-year-old, that is) and is quite strong and fast. He has a ton of experience with his powers and with many weapons, making him one of the best in the business, as they say. He is quite clever as well, and is skilled in crafting weapons and using creative methods to defeat monsters and spirits. Speaking of which, I should tell you some about Marshall’s arsenal. Over thirty years of hunting, Marshall has gained quite a few weapons. His most well-known one is his Winchester 1873 repeating rifle, a gun that he’s had since he was seventeen. He custom-makes his own bullets for it, which have seals hand-carved into the back of them, so that they can wound demons, dark spirits, and fay. Marshall also carries a large Bowie knife made of damascus steel (he knows a guy) with sigils carved into the blade and a flintlock pistol that acts as a flamethrower (he uses it to burn the bodies of monsters after he’s killed them, as the fire is magically charmed to only burn newly-dead flesh). When Marshall finds himself confronting a particularly powerful monster, he busts out Celsion, his ultimate weapons. Celsion is a 13th century arming sword made of steel with edges of silver and copper mixed with steel (at the time, it was a belief that these two metals could wound demons and evil spirits). The sword has seven sigils carved into the blade, and a relic of St.Martin of Tours in the hilt (this is just a fun fact, basically). The sword cleaves through demons, fay, and evil spirits with ease, and is versatile enough to be used to defeat most chimeras and many mythical creatures. The sword has been magically charmed to increase the strength of the user, causing Marshall's strength to be doubled when using Celsion (but only while using Celsion).

Weaknesses: Well firstly, Marshall has the usual Seer weakness. He falls into a coma when he uses his spirit form. During this, his body is completely vulnerable to damage. Marshall’s vision is starting to go, thus why he wears glasses. He can still see decently enough to function without the glasses, but when he’s not wearing them it makes it hard for him to see spirits. If you take Marshall’s glasses, he becomes much less effective at fighting them. Though Marshall has a lot of weapons, once you get past them he’s just a normal human. His gun has limited ammo (bullets don’t grow on trees), and his Bowie knife, while pretty big, is a close range weapon, meaning that it puts him in striking range of a dark spirit. Marshall’s flamethrower pistol doesn’t work on spirits or living demons/fay. Marshall only uses Celsion when there is a particularly strong demon or evil spirit going around, as it is hard to conceal. The sword isn't in the best shape either and requires strict care, considering that it is over 700 years old and has edges made of softer metals. Celsion needs to be constantly cleaned and charmed about once a week to keep its copper and silver edges from corroding and denting when they hit opponents.

Other: Two things here. Firstly, Marshall’s car is a black Buick Grand National X, one of the fastest American-made cars. He keeps Celsion under the back seats of the car in a safe. Secondly, I need to clarify a term. I am well aware that things like vampires and werewolves don’t exist in this rp, and other supernatural monsters are sketchy at best (I doubt we’ll have any Greek Chimeras or Manticores). Marshall refers to demons, mythical creatures, chimeras, dark spirits, and meta humans as monsters. Demons, dark spirits, mythical creatures, and chimeras (violent chimeras) are normally what he fights, though he will hunt a metahuman if they’re acting particularly dangerous or violent. He’s not in the habit of dispatching metas, though, so you really have to be a CENSORED to get on his kill list.

This is a list of the seven abilities of Celsion (one for each seal)
-The sword can harm spirits
-The sword can harm demons/fay
-The sword makes its user of the sword superhumanly strong
-The sword is as strong as carbon steel, and is nearly unbreakable
-The sword, on command, can become highly reflective like glass, both repelling cockatrices/basilisks, and blinding foes
-The sword can cast an aura of truth that causes people to become unable to lie. The stronger the demon/seer/mythical creature, the more they can resist this field
-The sword can repel attacks of holy fire and any other sort of attack that damages the user based on guilt or sin.

Leviathan "Pink"

General Information

Name: Leviathan (Goes by the alias of Pink)
Gender:Female
Age: Centuries old - But takes the appearance of a woman in her twenties.
World Origin: From beyond the barrier!
Identity: Water Demon

Height: Human form: 5'6ft - Demon form: 12.5 ft
Weight: Human form: 167lb - Demon form: 435lb
Eye Color: Human form: Brown - Demon form: surprise, Pink
Hair Color:Human form: Seemingly dyed Pink - Demon form: Icy-white
Alignment:Combine

Personal Information

Appearance: In human form; Pink appears as a very petite and energetic human being. Pink's human form takes the appearance of a Asian woman (Likely Cambodian) in her early twenties. She stands at average height (5'6), and her build is thin and attractive. She's super-thin, and her body is very curvy. Without a single cell of unattractive body-fat on her body. Pink's skin is a light-yellow color that clearly gives away (False) Asian descents. Her skin is strangely clear of anything like scars and other skin imperfections. It's 100% clear, just like a newborn baby. However, she has a complex network of these strange tattoos, that take the appearance of flowing water, all over her body. Starting from the top of her head, going down the back of her neck, to the back of her limbs, and ending at her feet/hands. Whenever she activates her demon powers, these tattoos start glowing. Pink has a near avian-like face, that is very well defined. Her cheeks are small, and somewhat squared due to her sharp jaw-line. Her head is heart shaped. It is large at the top, and as it goes down, it gets sleeker and pointed. Her chin is pointed, and she has a very sharp and pronounced jawline. Her eyes are brown colored, and average sized. True to her Asian descents, her eyes are slanted. Pink's lips are thick and full. They aren't that noticeable compared to the rest of her face.

In Demon form, Pink's appearance changes drastically. She takes the appearance of a monstrous twelve foot-tall monster. With a thick wreath of water surrounding her from head to toe, and organic body parts visible underneath the veil of water. Her skin is blue, and she's covered in thick armored scales that seemingly are metal-like, and she'll have these enormous protruding muscles. Her fingertips are razor-sharp claws that can cut through skin and bone with ease. Eight massive, squid-like, water-tentacles will protrude from her back, and these tentacles are blade tipped.

Personality: I'm a little pressed for time, so I hope I can do this IC-side. If not, I'll do it later.

Biography: Nothing interesting.

Family: None.

Relationships:Nemesis of the pair consisting of Cyril Noctis, and Morgana Ogmer. The three have clashed in the past concerning their different goals and ideals.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: An expert when it comes to the supernatural, she's knowledgeable about the veil known as the Barrier and all it contains. She's also an experienced warrior, and can demonstrate her skills on anyone who's foolish enough to try her. She knows how to use a few weapons, her favorite is the knows.... Okay, I really can't think of anything to put here.

Powers: Water Demon. Pink is the mystical archetypal demon of the sea, the mighty Demon of the sea, or Leviathan. A creature that is unconquerable in the water. Pink has a variety of abilities that make her a powerful demon. For starters, Pink can breath underwater and is capable of withstanding water regardless of it's temperature, or pressure, indefinitely. It also makes her a kick-ass swimmer. In fact, while in the water, Pink will get both super-strength, healing, and super speed, she can travel over water almost like she's gliding over it. She also has a strange "water-proofing". This means that no matter how much water she was in, she, and anything she has, will remain dry - This extends to anyone she's touching too. Pink also has an affinity with any fish or sea creature, thus, she can control them. While in, or near, the sea, these abilities are tripled in strength. She can detect disruptions in water while submerged in it, which acts as a third sense. The rest of her abilities require activation:

Water Manipulation. As a result of being a leviathan, Pink is capable of manipulating water in the immediate, in all three stages (Liquid, Ice, Steam/Mist, etc). Since water is extremely flexible, she's capable of shaping it in any way imaginable. She has a high degree of skill over this ability, so she's capable of using this ability in a variety of offensive and defensive techniques. She can convert water from one stage to another. She's capable of a wide variety of water-based techniques. She can control the temperature of water, wrap objects around it to gain a pseudo-telekinesis, control the viscosity of water, change water pressure, etc, etc. Pink has the ability to absorb large quantities of water into her body (To the point where she can absorb moisture) and release it at all. This control also extends to certain other liquids, such as beverages, oils, etc

In addition; Pink has two powerful alternate forms. I should note that she can selectively transform parts of her body;

Demon Transformation - Mode: Beast. Technically her "true" form which I described in her appearance section. There are the obvious enhancements; her strength, speed, durability, healing and flexibility will be brought up a few notches - Especially in water where she'll be the most powerful. Pink's water manipulation will be enhanced to a macro-level where she'll be able to control water from miles away from herself and create water-based natural disasters on a smaller scale.

Demon Transformation - Mode: Water. Pink can transform her body completely into water in any of it's stages, and change in between them. While water she can manipulate her own water molecules in any way imaginable, shape-shifter style. She can mold her water into weapons, and just about anything imaginable. In this state, Pink is completely impervious to physical attacks, and can slip into anything that isn't sealed air-tight, or water-proofed. Pink loses direct control of her water manipulation while in this transformed state, but gains a far stronger ability. Pink can combine herself with any other liquids (Regardless of it's current sage) to grow in size and power. For example she can merge with the lake and become a massive being of water, capable of controlling herself in any way imaginable. Which can make her extremely powerful if she manages to merge with a massive quantity of water. She is completely undetectable while merged with water. Merging with water gives her a form of regeneration, by replacing the damaged tissue with water, and once she turns back into her human form, she'll be good as new.

Strengths: Herpaderpaderpaderp

Weaknesses:

- Powerless without water

- Dry areas weaken her

- Heat, electricity, and fire are extra effective against her

- She requires time to transform, which can interrupted.

- She must dip in water once every ten hours or she'll die.

Cyril Emilio Noctis
General Information

Name:Cyril Emilio Noctis (The Gambler)
Gender: Male
Age: 21
World Origin: Human
Identity: Meta-human ... Because I wanted to make this guy a mage-type guy and nothing of the sorts was mentioned on the OP, this'll do.

Height: 5'4
Weight: 100
Eye Color: Pale Blue
Hair Color: Sandy Blond
Alignment: Neutral

Personal Information

Appearance: Cyril is a man that always seems cocky, full of himself. The way he always has a grin on his face and seems like he can handle any situation, even when faced with overwhelming odds. Cyril is a short man (5'4), and has a very thin frame. He is of Polish descents, thus Caucasian. His skin is a light color, but not pale. His skin is far from perfectly clear, he's covered in scars, slashing and burn scars. One particularly large scar starts at his right shoulder, and goes around his chest, stopping a few inches from his waist. He has a thin slashing scar across his neck, over his throat. Like someone tried slashing his throat but didn't pierce his jugular and windpipe. That isn't the end of his injuries. Upon inspection of his right hand, one may notice that he's missing half of his index and middle fingers. Right above the joint, he's missing his fingers. Cyril jokingly says that he lost it in a bet.

Cyril has been blessed with good genes, since he's quite attractive, albeit he looks quite feminine in the facial features, near androgynous. He has a strong, handsome face, with pronounced facial features. His head is heart shaped, and his facial features are squared. He has sparkling olive-green eyes. That are small, but narrow, and. His eyebrows are cut into a smooth and narrow line. His cheeks are thick are full, they stick out whenever he smiles. His lips are slightly above average in terms of size, but are rather thick, and a little girly. Cyril's nose is short, but he has wide nostrils, and a long and wide nose bridge. Cyril's chin is very pointed, but small and well-defined. His forehead is a bit large, but nothing people will notice right off the bat. Cyril's hair is a sandy, blond color. It's straight, but he keeps it cut short and bushy. Cyril has little body hair, he likes to keep it that way. He shaved his chest, arm-pits (And down there). Few will see that he has hair on his arms and legs.

Cyril's style is generally a classy and neat outfit. He'll wear dress shirts/pants, frilled shirts, jackets, coats, dancing shoes, sometimes suits and ties. Colors won't matter to him. He absolutely loathes jeans and tshirts (And people who wear those), so he won't be caught dead in those. Cyril is the kind of guy that has his ears pierced, he is often seen with gold ear-rings. However, once the moment is right, Cyril will trade good-looking attire for practical wear. Usually held in one hand is Cyril's scepter. It is a long, black, regal-looking item that has the appearance of a wand and has gold bands around the center and the tip of it. At the very top of the scepter, there is a strange, glowing, pear-shaped crystal. This crystal is somewhat large, shaped like a pear (Except pointier), and carved expertly like a diamond. Sometimes he's even seen wearing a gold-painted crown with the same crystals as the crown jewels.

Personality: Cyril is a naturally adventure-loving person, but is quite sarcastic. Sometimes he's very uninterested and will convey that disinterest through looking away, rolling his eyes up into his head, or playing with his thumbs, or random objects. But when he's 'interested' he speaks like a charming individual that always knows what to say, and speaks with confidence. All without coming off as arrogant or egotistical. He tends to give the impression of a loner with a mysterious past that's full of dark secrets and action. But in truth, he's more of a person that prefers action over words. He's more than willing to blow off someone he thinks is bragging just because he doesn't believe them. He's quite easy to annoy, however, mostly by people who talk too much. Cyril values the quiet type that speaks with action. However he has his own coping mechanism and will respond to being annoyed with copious amounts of sarcasm. Which to say the least, he's always being an utter smartass about even the slightest thing that annoys him.

Cyril usually interacts with whoever he finds interesting, or may be useful as an ally. Though, Cyril has a habit of making enemies because of his sarcastic attitudes and overall contempt for some people for even the slightest offense. Acting like some people are nothing more than annoying, and thus, not worth his time. It is worth noting that Cyril generally gets along better with girls than guys. Surprisingly, he acts like a ladies man, and treats (Most) women with respect and kindness. He usually goes out of his way to talk to the girl if there's a group, ignoring whether or not she seems to be the leader. What else is notable is that Cyril shows much contempt when it comes to other males. Ignoring them, and being, well, a jerk towards them, which goes to homophobic levels. What's worse is that he really hates it when another man touches him. His reaction will be severe, getting violent quite fast (Girls are fine with this). It's all because of an earlier traumatic experience he had as a kid, but that's for later. When fighting males, Cyril is a vicious opponent, and is quite ruthless. There may be some boys that Cyril will be fine with, if they prove themselves to him. But even then, he'll have problems with them.

Cyril isn't exactly a natural born leader. He's seen as guy that's in it for himself. Merely because he's great at watching his own back. Cyril works fine in teams. Just teams that don't have him as the leader. He's good at tactics and planning. Or he thinks he is. Give him a few minutes, and he'll make up a plan to defeat the main villain. Though, his downfalls tends to be his habits of over complicating things, and making complex plans for simple things. He has a habit of hating defeat, and loving victory. He'll do anything to win, or at least seem like the victor. Even going to petty, hypocritical levels. Even if he can't seem like the victor, he'll try his best to get "even" even if it means that he'll break a few rules and cross a few lines. It doesn't matter to him, all that he cares about is being the winner. In terms of morality, Cyril is more-or-less chaotic neutral. As in he does whatever he wants to do, good or bad. Though, he won't do acts of either without good reason or advancing his own goals. Unless it comes to stealing, Cyril was trained to be a thief. He won't hesitate to just swipe what he wants.

Biography: Cyril belongs to the Noctis family, a rich and wealthy family. Other than that, it's irrelevant.

Family: Cyril's parents are Cooper, and Marissa Noctis. His grandparents (On his father's side) are long dead, and on his mother's side, his grandparents are active, but slowly dying from cancer. Cyril has many brothers and sisters, at least seven.

Relationships: Morgana Ogmer (The next character I'm going to make), his longtime ally and partner.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Cyril is quite versatile in his many skills. He's a natural born-thief. He knows many techniques that would get a person like him arrested for awhile. Picking locks, hotwiring cars, leaving behind no evidence or fingerprints, and being stealthy. He's quite experienced in combat, being in more situations than he could count. Other than that, Cyril knows a wide variety of other noncombat skills. Cyril is a great dancer, he's trained and practiced himself in the area. He's the best at ballroom dancing. I'll have you know that I have zero knowledge in dancing, so forgive me. Cyril has also done some acting, and is quite convincing when he fakes emotion - Which has benefited him during interactions with people. Cyril knows how to paint, cook, and bake. Cyril has limited knowledge of instruments, he knows how to play the flute. The only other instrument Cyril knows is the Triangle! The electric triangle.

Powers: Casinomancery. Cyril is a meta-human, with a power he calls Gambling magic. It gives him a sort of control over all things you'd see in a casino (Cards, Dice, Roulette Wheels, etc). He can move them, make them bigger, infuse them with different elements (Fire, ice, electricity, etc) to give them different properties. Usually he uses poker cards in fights which he can make razor sharp. The magic also makes Cyril supernaturally lucky in the way that outcomes are more favorable for him. Not in the way he'll find a million dollars lying, but it's much more subtle. Like he'll have a higher chance of winning a bet, or the guy chasing after him will trip over the next stick.

Strengths: ... Aside from all the stuff I just put in this entire sheet?

Weaknesses:

- The casino magic makes Cyril schizophrenic. He'll start to see things, like people's eyes replaced with spades, or sometimes everything looks like it's made entirely out of poker cards. Stuff like that. The more he uses his magic, the worse the effects will get until he reaches the point where he'll drop on his knees and scream into the sky.

- Cyril is very adverse to males to the point of homophobia. Don't expect him to get along that well with that.

- Hates defeat

Morgana Ella Ogmer "The Pumpkin Witch"

General Information

Name: Morgana Ella Ogmer (The Pumpkin Witch)
Gender: Female
Age: 24
World Origin: Human
Identity: Alchemist

Height: 5'6
Weight: 100
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Dyed Bright red - Naturally light-brown
Alignment: Neutral

Personal Information

Appearance: Morgana takes the appearance of a sleepy woman. She constantly walked around with a blank, bored, sleepy expression on her face. Her expression barely changes, no matter what happens. The most change that'd happen is a lazy grin creeping up on her face when something amusing happens. The way she walks around is like a high-class super-model on the runway, she's always strutting it, and walking like a super-star. Morgana is a slim girl, she doesn't have a super impressive body. Her curves are rather flat, and unappealing. Morgana's limbs are a bit long, with her legs making up a bit of her height. Her limbs are slender, with her fingers long and bony. Morgana is Danish, and she has whitish, near-pale, skin. A skin that is clear of imperfections like scars or blemishes. Morgana's body underneath her clothing is covered in these strange fire-like tattoos that encompasses her her body and are all connected.

Morgana has a rounded diamond shaped head, with rounded facial features. She has a large head, which gets more streamlined as it goes down. Her chin is rather pointed, but still strong looking. She doesn't have a pronounced jawline of the sorts. Morgana has small, full lips which appear to be wide. Morgana's nose is a bit large, it's triangle points forward a few centimeters. Her nostrils are also triangle-shaped. The bridge up to her nose is quite long too. Morgana has smooth, hard to notice, cheekbones. Morgana's eyes are strange, as a result of her power. Her eyes are very large, and abnormally shaped, and are purple, and appear as if she doesn't have an iris. Her eyes are just all purple. Morgana's hair is dyed bright red, and is very curly. She doesn't keep it in any particular style, it just hangs off the back of her head all the way to her shoulders.

Personality: It's hard to gauge Morgana's personality, because she barely shows any though words. Morgana never talks. She communicates with people using body language and sometimes writing it down. She can be heard giggling when something amuses her - Which a lot of things does, mostly things that should threaten her. When Morgana does talk, she only does it briefly, and people tend to listen. Even though, her voice is very high pitched and girly. Morgana is a noble person, willing to do what's right to help people. Though, she's not the super devote hero, and tends to fall into selfishness quite often. That said, Morgana, when faced with an actuate threat, tends to be near sociopathic. Ruthless and unfeeling towards her enemies. She operates like a robot, only following logic, and not emotion or feelings.

Biography: Nah

Family: Nah

Relationships: Best friends with Cyril Noctis.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Morgana is very observant, she's the kind of person that silently watches from a distance, picking up details and facts. Mixed with her uncanny silence and sneaking skills, she calls herself a good spy. Morgana is also very skilled and versed in the world of alchemy, and knows how to use her own form of alchemy, along with the traditional form, very well. Maria is a skilled hand-to hand fighter, taught Karate at a very young age.

Powers: Plant Based Alchemy. Morgana is an alchemist, thus she can do the usual, she can rearrange matter at a sub-atomic level by drawing transmutation circles by sacrificing, yadda, yadda, yadda. However, Morgana's alchemy mainly involves the transmutation of plants, her favorite is pumpkins. She can turn one plant into another, and create plant based potions, along with spells that relate to plants. Morgana knows how to create a wide variety of chimeras by merging plants, and animals (even humans) together to forge powerful monsters that serve her. She mostly merges pumpkins and other creatures together to create her chimeras. Morgana is still capable of traditional alchemy of rearranging the molecules of other objects.

Strengths: Herp.

Weaknesses:

- Fire, poisons, and other plant killers, are great counters to her Alchemy. She isn't exactly that powerful on her own, she needs plenty of plants to be a sufficient threat. She's also less powerful in desolate, plantless areas, like indoors and in industrial areas.

- Morgana's doesn't communicate that well with other people. Using her body language instead of words.

- Morgana's alchemy can be interrupted if someone stops her from making the circle.

Eggs Benedict

General Information

Name: Benedict Ovum
Gender: male
Age: 19 (this is like 35 in Cockatrice years)
World Origin: human
Identity: Cockatrice (mythical creature)

Height: normal form: 12 inches.  Supernatural form: nine feet at the head.
Weight: normal form: ten lbs. Supernatural form: 90 lbs
Eye Color: normal form: black Supernatural form: metallic silver
Feather Color: normal form: red and green.  Supernatural form: Well its feathers in supernatural form are red, but its scales are emerald green with a white belly.
Alignment: combine

Personal Information

Appearance: In his normal form, Benedict is a chicken. Well, rooster. I really do not know how to describe a rooster other than its being a rooster, and so I linked this section to a picture of a rooster incase you are someone who has never seen a rooster. Benedict’s supernatural form is much different. Benedict’s supernatural form looks like the combination of a snake and a chicken. It has the body of a large serpent of viper, with a long neck and a head resembling an eyelash pit viper’s. Atop Benedict’s head is a large crest like a rooster’s.  Benedict’s eyes are a metallic silver (they have no white, pupil, or iris) and seem to glow. He has a long snake-like tail as well, and a body like a snake. On the end of the tail is a fan of red feathers. At the spot on the snake where a creature would have its legs (the base of the tail where it connects to the body), Benedict has a pair of long legs like an ostrich's. There is a set of spurs on the ankle of both of Benedict’s legs, making his kicks much deadlier. The snake body is covered in triangular emerald scales, and the creature’s belly is white. A row of raised spines like a dragon’s runs down Benedict’s back. Benedict has a pair of red and green-feathered wings that fold up next to his body. They are clawed wings like a bat’s, allowing him to grasp with them. When fully unfurled, Benedict’s wings have an enormous wingspan.

Personality: Benedict is a haughty individual with emphasises on family loyalty and pride. He believes that cockatrices are in general better than humans, and that monsters should take over the world. He has very little respect for humanoid beings, seeing them as weak and frail. He can be easily angered, and is known to be violent around other individuals who try to challenge his strength or manliness. He’s one of those folk with more balls than brains, and because of this has a habit of getting into many fights with both humans and other mythical creatures. He thinks that he is the best of the best, able to take down any opponent. His overconfidence is both a vice and an advantage, as it drives him to do bigger and better things. Benedict’s number one priority is his family. He will do absolutely anything to protect them and loves them more than anything else in the world. His goal in life is to make the world a better place for his children.

Biography:

Family: Benedict has a wife and three baby chicks. They live in an abandoned barn on the outskirts of the town, overgrown by brush and weeds. Within the house, Benedict’s family appears in supernatural form within the barn, but turns into their normal form when the leave. (incase you were wondering, cockatrice chicks look like ostrich chicks with the head and tail of an eastern kingsnake). Benedict used to have a brother who was a basilisk, but Marshall Copeland killed him.

Relationships:

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Benedict is of primitive intelligence. He knows how to speak Greek (his parents taught him) and he uses this to communicate with his family. Outside of that, he has picked up a few english words here and there, but isn’t good at piecing sentences together. He’s not of equal human intellect, but is smarter than a simple animal.

Powers: Benedict is a cockatrice, a species of creatures famous for being particularly potent. Firstly, Benedict has the famous stare of the cockatrice. The cockatrice stare, however, is not deadly. That is the basilisk stare (the two are easily confused). The stare of a cockatrice severely weakens opponents. It saps their strength and energy, causing them to become weak and tired. Prolonged staring can actually cause victims to fall asleep, making them easy prey for the Benedict. It is possible to look away from his stare, but it is difficult. Once you stare into the eyes of a cockatrice, you don’t want to look away for some odd reason. This is not Benedict’s only power, though. Cockatrices can run extremely quickly at nearly 70 mph for short bursts and can sustain a run of 60 mph. His legs are extremely powerful when in supernatural form, and a kick from him is fatal (he can’t kick in normal form because he has short legs). Benedict can fly if given a running start, and while he cannot fly with much speed or agility, can fly for incredibly long periods of time with very little energy. Finally, Benedict’s bite is highly toxic. The venom paralyzes prey quickly, making it easy for Benedict to kill it off with his razor sharp spurs and dine.

Strengths:
-Has a draining stare
-can run at 70 mph
-can fly very long distances
-has a fatal kick (equipped with a razor sharp spur)
-venomous bite.

Weaknesses: Firstly there’s the well-known weakness of all creatures with a paralyzing gaze. If Benedict looks into a mirror, he is weakened by his own powers. A less-known weakness of the cockatrice is that they are killed by the crow of a rooster. If Benedict hears a rooster crow, he dies instantly (because of this, he often kills roosters in the city to prevent himself from being killed by them). Weasels or weasel-based animals are immune to Benedict’s stare. Another problem with Benedict is that his flight requires a runway of some sort. He cannot just take off from the ground because he is too heavy. He needs a space of about fifty feet to run in order to take off (this is only in supernatural form, as his rooster form isn’t as heavy). He needs a similar runway to land, as landing flat-footed would break his legs. Benedict’s venom can be cured with basilisk antivenom or with the crow of a rooster (ie, if you’re dying from cockatrice venom, hearing a rooster crow will cure you). Video recordings of a rooster crowing will cure Benedict's venom, but will not kill him. Benedict has a natural fear of weasels, and absolutely hates their smell. Besides that, Benedict is about as difficult to kill as a flying ostrich.

Amos and Navon

General Information

Name: Amos and Navon
Gender: male
Age: 5 (35 in dog years)
World Origin: Supernatural
Identity: Orthus (mythical creature)

Height: Normal form: 17 inches at the shoulder. Supernatural form: 30 inches at the shoulder
Weight: Normal form: 70 lbs. Supernatural form: 150 lbs
Eye Color: Normal form: black. Supernatural form: their eyes glow orange
Hair Color: Normal form: grey Supernatural form: brindle
Alignment: Barrier

Personal Information

Appearance: The number one word to describe Amos and Navon’s monster form is “small horse”. When they break through the veil, they appear as a massive brindle (black and grey) bull mastiff with two heads. Indeed, Orthus is a two-headed dog. They are slightly wider than the average bull mastiff, as their body includes two hearts and two stomachs, and their shoulders are extra wide to fit two gigantic heads. Amos and Navon each have studded leather collars that lead to a chain leash. Amos and Navon’s body is much less threatening when in normal form. Due to the barrier, they appear as a grey American pitbull when in normal form, about seventeen inches tall and 70 lbs. They look just like a normal pitbull in every way, with no hint to their two heads.

Personality: Since they’re technically two different creatures, Amos and Navon have two different personalities. Amos is the right-brained brother of the duo. He is very good with the concrete and exact. He’s good at math and the sciences, and has a very good memory. Amos likes to be exact and precise all of the time. He is a believer of the phrase “measure twice, cut once”. He hates going into things blind and always wants to find out everything he can about an opponent before charging in madly. Amos is very organized and structured. He’s one of those guys who always keeps a schedule. When talking to others, Amos can be rather blunt and brash. He tells things like they are and never sugar-coats things to make people feel better. He is intelligent, and seems to enjoy flaunting around his intellect. Amos is highly logical at most times, and will not go with any sort of “gut feeling”. He works on facts. Navon is quite different. He is the left-sided part of the brain. He deals more in ideals then Amos does, and is very creative and artistic. Navon is very clever and has a love of learning new things. Unlike Amos, however, Navon prefers to learn things on the job. He is good at altering plans on the fly, and is more adept at charging into a situation and figuring out how to stop the opponent while in combat with them. Navon isn’t as good at mathematics as Amos is, but is also intelligent. He is good at recognizing patterns and comprehending situations. Navon is much less organized than Amos, and often does things in bursts of energy, as opposed to systematically working through problems. Because of this, Navon is known to be a huge procrastinator. Navon is normally the better head to talk to, as he is much kinder. Navon has a lot of empathy and is good at relating to others and finding out how they feel. He is honest, but is good at using euphemisms and rhetoric strategies to make truths hurt less. He often tells white lies to keep himself from hurting friends. Navon has a large vocabulary, and is good at making words fit just right so as to convey information perfectly. Unlike Amos, who works on logic, Navon has his own morality. He wants to make things right, not do what is logically the best. Because they are very different, Navon and Amos often argue over what to do (it’s quite amusing to see a pitbull argue with itself). But because they are so different in the ways that they are, they make a great team when they put their heads together (#puns). Both like a lot of typical dog things, like bones, bacon, and a nice game of fetch. Their favorite toy is a blue rubber bone that squeaks when they bite it. They often argue over this bone.

Biography:

Family: Amos and Navon were born in a litter with two other Orthus pups. They go and see their mother(s) occasionally, though their father(s) have since died.

Relationships: Amos and Navon are Marshall’s dog. He got them from a friend when they were a puppy and has raised them since they were little.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Well, being a dog, there’s not exactly much Amos and Navon can be “good” at. They are both of sentient intelligence. Amos is good at calculating math problems, and can do large arithmetic in his head. Navon has a very large vocabulary and is good at writing essays and poetry. Both of them have a very keen sense of smell (like, bloodhound good) and see decently well. Marshall taught them french when they were little, and tried to teach them latin, but they learned very little of it.

Powers: Amos and Navon are an Orthus, the two-headed brother of the Cerberus. They are extremely strong and fast, able to run at about fifty miles an hour. They have an incredible bite force, strong enough to shatter bones and crush metal. Much like a pit bull, their jaws are designed to lock once they bite down on something, making it nearly impossible to escape unless they are ordered to let go or do it of their own free will. They have a supernatural sense of smell, allowing them to smell spirits and monsters from miles away. If Amos and Navon smell the corpse of a person killed by a dark spirit, they will be able to track the spirit for miles. They can smell demons, fay, seers, and alchemists from about 500 yards away without any scent to start with.

Strengths:
-bone-crushing bite force (like that of a crocodile)
-can smell a dark spirit from miles away if given a starting scent.
-Can smell demons, fay, alchemists, and seers from about 500 yards away.

Weaknesses: Firstly, Navon and Amos have a bite weakness similar to that of a crocodile’s. They have a very strong bite, but put so much strength into their bite down that they can easily be prevented from letting go. So, if you get Amos and Navon to bite something and then hold their jaws down, they will be unable to open their mouths. Smells can be masked by certain seals and perfumes. Navon and Navon and Amos cannot smell a spirit without being given a starting scent (well, they know when one is around, but can’t tell where it is). Another thing that can temporarily stop Amos and Navon is getting them in an argument. Each dog controls one half of the body, and though they normally move in near-perfect synchronization, if they get in an argument they often go into what looks like a seizure, with each head trying to take control of the other’s side or pulling their side the other way.

Blake Ernest Snell

General Information

Name: Blake Ernest Snell
Gender: Male
Age: 563 (Physically 19)
World Origin: Supernatural
Identity: Demon/Fay

Height: 6’11”
Weight: 237lbs
Eye Color: Hazel (Human), Blue (Demon/Fay)
Hair Color: Dark Auburn (Human), Silver-White (Demon/Fay)
Alignment: Barrier

Personal Information

Appearance: Blake in his human form is in every sense strong and powerful-looking, although for reasons that can’t quite be explained, he is eerily intimidating to most who first meet him. What is immediately prominent about his appearance is that he is rather tall, enough so that his height makes him stand out rather easily in any crowd. With a lean and muscular build, he is the one person people wouldn’t dare to pick a fight with. He also has very pale skin, to the point that a glare seems to come off of him if he were standing in broad daylight, although it isn’t uncommon for people that avoid walking about in the sun to have such coloration. Having an inverted triangle-shaped face, he has a very defined and strong-looking jaw, with softer cheekbones, and a prominent brow-ridge that makes his expression more intense in appearance. His nose is long and narrow, making his face seem more drawn-out in appearance. His brows, being thicker but well-shaped, accent his eyes, which are a hazel color that seems to alternate between brown or green in color. His thick, straight, dark auburn hair is kept in a medium-length style that is parted down the middle and swept off to the sides.

In his human form, and when he isn’t out on supernatural business, Blake tends to dress rather casually, wearing a darker-colored brown and red button-up short-sleeve shirt, with a smoothed-down collar, and a right breast pocket. He wears plain denim jeans with this, and dark brown steel-toe boots with black rubber soles one would associate with jobs that might endanger the toes. When he’s out doing something that involves fighting, Blake wears a black judogi, or Judo training outfit, with a bright blue belt that doesn’t appear to belong to any of the Martial Art ranking systems, but happens to allow ease of movement while fighting. Blake wears a large sword sheath across his back with a black ribbon that goes over his chest, and the sword that Blake carries is a very large and sharp falchion blade made from steel, and then coated in a very strong tungsten-carbide. The silver-grey blade itself seems to have faint runes that dance across it, suggesting that perhaps it was made by a Seer, although perhaps there’s a different magic, since a spirit creature can touch the blade and not be harmed unless it cuts them, though it seems to have great effect on spiritual things. The hilt of the blade is a soft black grip, meant more for comfort than show.

In his Demon/Fay form, Blake is much more fearsome-looking, although his size overall doesn’t dramatically change. His body becomes highly reptilian in appearance, covered in sleek armored scales that are flat, long, and pointed, but despite their incredible strength remain flexible and fit tightly together to form a smooth surface on the body. The ending tips, when relaxed, are the only part of Blake’s scales that are visible, and they are a pale shade of grey mottled through with pure white, sometimes comparable to the pelt of a dapple grey horse, which is the closest in coloration. When threatening a foe, Blake’s scales bristle and lift up, revealing more surface area that was hidden because they were overlapped, though not exposing any sensitive skin. It is revealed that the hidden parts of Blake’s scales are a bright red color, and form a banded pattern with black, creating a unique intimidation display similar to a vine snake. Overall, Blake’s body becomes more humanoid dragon-like in shape, although he doesn’t possess wings. His legs become different in shape and length, so that they are more suited to quadruped movement, although Blake’s hind legs are strong enough where he can stand on his hind legs alone, albeit hunched over. He sprouts a long, thick, muscular tail that can be used offensively. His hands retain a human-like shape, and his nails turn into thick, sharp claws that are long in length, but only slightly curved, resembling those of a grizzly bear, and capable of decapitating a man with a single swipe. Retaining a somewhat humanoid torso, Blake’s belly scales are the same mottled grey and white as the rest of his body, not having much to make them stand out from the rest of his body, aside from the shapes that are like large plates. Blake’s head and neck are what warp the most from their original shape.

Blake’s neck elongates into a more dragon or serpent-like neck, and his face becomes very different in shape from a human’s. His skull elongates into a long, thin, and smooth wedge-shape, like a dog’s snout fused with the skull of a legless lizard’s. He has ears that heighten a dog-like appearance, being long and pointed, with scales that have more pronounced and bristling points. His teeth become long and dagger-like, and also have the addition of small tusks comparable to a boar’s in shape and size. There are also two long sabers about six inches in length where canines should be, and the gape of Blake’s jaw is enough to go long beyond these two teeth. Blake’s mouth when opened is revealed to be a natural pink color, and his tongue, despite being split down the middle, retains a somewhat human-like shape. Blake retains eyelids and expressive eyes. The sclera of his eyes are a deep red, and the irises surrounding round pupils become bright blue. Blake’s hair grows longer, and forms a thick silver-white mane that parts down the middle, and falls evenly on both sides of his neck, ending at the base of it. Long hair also comes out like bangs on top of his head, but is parted so that it falls to either side just behind his eyes.

In his Demon/Fay form, Blake tends to be wearing the same kind of outfit he wears when he’s a human on supernatural business, a black judogi with a bright blue belt that doesn’t fit the ranking system, and the large sword, which he uses at times, strapped to his back.

Personality: Blake is a very quiet and introverted person, who not only avoids social situations, but rejects them altogether. Having little to do with other people, and deep down, fearful of betrayal or being hurt, he has much trouble trusting even those who know him well. He may even see growing to trust others as dangerous to safety, and while he may be reliable and trustworthy himself (He seldom lets down those who need him), he will often never give others a chance to prove he can count on them. This makes trying to carry on a conversation with Blake about as easy as it would be to get a response out of an inanimate object like a brick wall. Although he is capable of being a powerful speaker, he says very little, as he only says what he believes is important, and not much past that. He seems for the most part uncomfortable in society, and has a very serious, as well as dour manner. He doesn’t appear to have any sense of humor, either, and tends to ruin jokes with his reactions to deadpan humor or sarcasm, being serious to the point that he takes all the fun out of it, and people can’t even have a laugh at his expense. Blake is, however, very wise, and while some of his suspicions about others are pointless, he is the most likely to know a threat when one comes around, or if something is wrong.

Blake often does not immediately state his age, as is something most older Demons and Fay typically do if they are ancient in reality, but physically don’t even appear to be adults. Although more of a listener, and seldom speaking himself, he appears to find the conversations of humans such as Seers (Despite his general dislike of them), Alchemists, or Meta-humans entertaining, because he has lived for many of their lifetimes, and despite most humans such as teens regarding him as someone their age, and no more wise or intelligent than they are, he is in fact old enough to know far more than they do. He often regards young teens that are really teens and know he is a supernatural being as ‘little ones’ or ‘children’, which aggravates them, although subtly hints at his real age, as he sometimes speaks (When he decides to talk) much in the manner of an old man.

Biography: (Will Be Revealed Later)

Family: Blake formerly had an older Demon brother, Joseph, who was incredibly destructive, and a younger brother, Damien, who was naïve and followed the eldest. Blake, being the middle child, didn’t follow Joseph’s example, but loved his little brother greatly. When they were younger, Blake’s older brother was a powerful demon rumored to have devoured over a thousand different spirits, and Blake was often worried that Joseph would drag Damien down with him. Eventually, such an event occurred, and a powerful Seer defeated Joseph, and because Damien had been waiting near where Joseph had been, the Seer tracked the boy down, and killed him, also. Although the Seer, discovering that Damien had been innocent, was regretful, and apologized to the last remaining member of the family, Blake was left with a deep mistrust for humans of their kind, because of this incident.

Relationships: Blake on many occasions has dealings with a fellow Demon/Fay, Shayla. Although they have conflicting opinions about how Seers should be regarded, they both agree that the world would fall into chaos if the Barrier between worlds was to be destroyed.

Skills and Abilities

Skills:  Blake has many different skills mastered, as the result of needing to do something over the centuries, and after having gotten as good as he could get at one thing, moving on to something else. Having done a lot of artisan work, Blake knows how to make clay pottery and ceramics, blown glass, carve stone or wood, produce a wide variety of different kinds of jewelry, and is quite an adept sewer, as well, meaning he can do just about anything if you need clothing, furniture, practical tools, or décor, though these skills, while fascinating, aren’t exactly practical for anything other than making an honest living. More interesting and useful skills Blake has mastered is old-fashioned blacksmith work, including Blade and Sword-smith work, perhaps maybe being the one who made his own sword. He also dabbled in precious metals, knowing about bright smith work (Working with silver). Observant, he knows more transmutation circles and seals than most Alchemists or Seers do, even after a lifetime of discovering and learning them, though Blake can’t make them function. Blake speaks multiple languages aside from English, most being ancient tongues. These languages include Latin, Chinese, Hebrew, Japanese, Sanskrit, and Ge’ez, meaning that he is able to fluently speak to a large group of people from around the world, as despite there being many languages; supernatural beings from around the world are likely to learn ancient languages from their respective region. Blake is likely to be able to speak to people from East Asia, Africa, Europe, and India. He’s the most reliable if someone needs a language translated. Past all these talents, Blake’s only fighting skills is that he is a master when wielding the large sword he carries.

Powers: As a human, Blake’s only power is that he can detect and see the supernatural, being a Demon/Fay, his powers are completely restrained by the Barrier, which gives him a youthful teenage appearance, though his powerful energy would suggest he is much older, though he can mask it so it seems less apparent to others. In Demon/Fay form, due to his greater age, he is very powerful, even for a member of his kind. He gains strength that exceeds most other younger Demons or Fay, and supposedly, he has enough power to lift over ten tons, which is enough to throw a fully-grown elephant. Blake has claws that can smash bones and rip through steel, or break through solid brick walls, if he so chose and he can swing his tail with considerable force. Being able to run at the swift speed of 80 miles per hour, he’s a faster being than most. His bite consists of powerful jaws that can crack thick bones or skulls, and rip through metal. His armored scales give him a degree of resistance to smaller sharp objects, as well as elemental attacks. His sense of smell, hearing, and vision is much sharper than a human’s, and he can isolate and rapidly determine scents, even if they are old. His claws and teeth bypass the damage resistance Demons and Fay have, and can be very effective against spirits. His bite and claws are also mildly toxic, nowhere near lethal, but enough to cause redness, swelling, and a sharp burning or stinging sensation, like a bee sting. His stamina allows him to fight or move without tiring for hours. He has a healing factor that causes him to quickly recover from severe-looking wounds within a short period, and although he has seen many battles, he doesn’t have a single scar.

Strengths: Blake can see the supernatural regardless of form. In his true form he has Claws and Teeth that can rip through steel, and bypass the healing factors of most Demons, Fay, or Dark Spirits. Mild toxin that causes injuries to hurt like bee stings and swell slightly is present in his bite and in his claws. His night vision, as well as his ability to identify objects clearly from a long distance, or track movement, is very powerful. His sense of hearing is like a dog’s, and he can hear pitches higher than the human spectrum. His sense of smell is on par with a grizzly bear, capable of smelling a faint scent from up to eighteen miles away, and being so precise that the scent could be old, and wouldn’t hinder him. He can be very specific about the scent, and overall, his smell is on average seven times stronger than a bloodhound (Not saying this can’t be a disadvantage at some point). His stamina and endurance is very great, and his scales make him much more likely to handle certain attacks. He can run up to 80 miles per hour, and he can lift enough to throw an elephant. He is also skilled in wielding his sword, which seems to have magical power, although people can’t identify its origin.

Weaknesses: Seer weapons and seals affect Blake as though he weren’t covered with armored scales at all, and enough force or a sharper edge on a blade can cut through his scales easily. While strong, he can still be bested in combat with demons that have more specialized or elemental attacks, and his mild toxin doesn't affect non-physical creatures like spirits. His highly sensitive senses can be used against him, and things like the smell of ink, gasoline, oil, or strong chemicals, picked up in high amounts, can not only make it impossible for him to distinguish finer smells, but can also overwhelm him and cause him to pass out. His hearing is sensitive so that loud, high-pitches like dog whistles hurt, and bright flashes of light that are sudden, like those that come from a camera, can briefly blind him. In human form, all but his ability to detect the supernatural are lacking, meaning that Blake is very vulnerable in human form, unless he is carrying his sword.

Dixie Griffith "Law-Breaker"

General Information

Name: Dixie Griffith “Law-Breaker”
Gender: Female
Age: 17
World Origin: Human
Identity: Meta-Human

Height: 5’4”
Weight: 109lbs.
Eye Color: Gray
Hair Color: Mousy Brown
Alignment: Barrier

Personal Information

Appearance: Dixie is, for lack of a better word, rather harmless-looking, despite the nickname she’s been given by her good friend Opal. Small and thin, she is comparable to a bird in appearance, having little figure to speak of, and thus looking much younger than she actually is. With fair skin, a round face and gentle features, she looks even more so like a child. She has cherubic lips, and a petite nose, and her eyebrows are well-shaped. Her eyes are very large and round, with Gray irises that seem to change color to fit whatever she is wearing. They are accented by long, dark eyelashes. Dixie’s long, straight hair is a plain, mousy brown, and is simply parted down the middle, falling to just past her shoulders.

Dixie most often wears the typical clothing a girl around her age would wear. She wears a modest white lacy top with short sleeves, and boot-cut denim jeans, being stylish, yet comfortable. She wears a pair of small brown boots with this outfit. She also has two small gold stud earrings, and wears brown beaded bracelets on both arms as jewelry. She also carries a very heavy-looking stuffed brown satchel, which contains a large number of different things, ranging from pencils and pens, to calculators, three small notepads, a lint roller, a small bottle of disinfectant, and a box of bandages, which she carries around for some bizarre reason people don’t exactly understand.

Personality: Dixie, when regarded compared to other people, is somewhat eccentric or unusual. She tends to drift off into her thoughts and daydream, losing focus of whatever task it was that she was doing beforehand, and often, this results in her either missing what was being said, or failing to finish a thought or point she was trying to make. She seems to have a very short attention span, and therefore she is easily distracted, much to the either amusement or exasperation of the people she’s around. She is also, notably, highly forgetful about short-term things, and struggles when remembering names, though she seems to remember faces quite easily. She also isn’t that organized as a person, and therefore, other people have trouble figuring out the order objects are arranged in, although strangely, Dixie seldom actually loses her things, though she make take longer amounts of time to find them than others. She seems to always have energy to burn, and has a distinctly ‘twitchy’ sort of mannerism, constantly in some minor form of motion. She tends to say her thoughts aloud, and will often impulsively blurt out whatever it is that she can’t keep to herself, although she is never rude or offensive. She has, unusually, incredibly good cooking skills, and also knows a large number of immediate first-aid treatments. She speaks Italian, though technically, Latin would be more useful.

Dixie is, to the best of her ability, a kind and polite person with a good heart, who generally doesn’t seem to be frightened by anything. As a result, if a large, intimidating-looking creature were to walk up to her, but not immediately leap to attack, Dixie is the one person who would look at it, pet it on the head, and say ‘hello’, regardless if it was intelligent or not. This leads people to wonder if she is oblivious to danger, but the simple fact is, she’s the one person who can completely overlook differences. As a result, she gets along with Demons, Fay, and Mythical Creatures much better than perhaps any other human, because she seems so harmless and unaware that perhaps nobody wants to attack her in the first place. Dixie is, in fact, aware of danger, and more accurate about the threat than anyone else, which is why she is a bit more daring in approaching supernatural strangers. In any case, Dixie can defend herself quite well, and doesn’t need to be protected.

Often, Dixie acknowledges her own eccentric nature, and when people ask her if she is crazy or insane, because she comes up with ideas that sound suicidal or ridiculous, she claims that if they wanted to be logical, they shouldn’t have talked to her in the first place.

Biography: (Will Be Revealed Later)

Family: Dixie’s mother is deceased, and her father is the sole supporter of the family, which are only himself and his daughter. As a result, he is rarely home, and while Dixie loves her dad, she doesn’t tell him she has powers.

Relationships: Dixie is a close friend of Opal Graham, who, despite for the most part appearing to be a girl around her own age, is actually a Mythical Creature known as a Longma, which is in essence a kind of dragon-horse. Despite the fact that Opal worries constantly for Dixie’s safety, because Dixie seems completely oblivious to danger, Dixie is perhaps more likely to survive a fight than Opal can.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Dixie, despite her personality, can always recall a face, though not names, and therefore she always remembers when or where she saw someone. This ability can be useful, if you want to know if you saw someone before. She is also very good at doing first-aid treatments, all the way to CPR and setting a broken bone so that it can’t move. Despite her oddness, Dixie is a culinary genius, capable of preparing gourmet-level dishes and desserts, on par with those of a pastry chef, and she also speaks Italian, which, while being somewhat different, allows a broken capability to roughly understand Latin.

Powers: Dixie, true to her nickname, ‘Law-Breaker’, has a very powerful ability as a Meta-Human, one that has many different uses, and allows her to best even the strongest of opponents. Dixie’s power only applies to Dixie or whatever she touches, and only works when she is actively thinking about using it. Overall, her power is a combination of friction and inertia manipulation, as well as a limited control over kinetic energy. What this means is that often, Dixie tends to break Newton’s Laws of Motion, which is where she gets her nickname from. These powers in combination allow Dixie to do some crazy things. First of all, whatever she is touching, she is capable of cancelling out friction, or the force that the object exerts back on her. This means she is capable of moving very quickly, without being hindered by air or wind resistance, and she can also increase friction acting on her to climb on walls and ceilings. She can reduce friction on her whole body to squirm out of the grip of someone who has tried to snatch her, also, and can even increase her inertia, meaning that even the strongest of attackers could try to lift her, and despite her low weight, they can’t exert enough force to overcome her inertia, though technically, this also makes Dixie immobile, too. Limited control of kinetic force allows Dixie to grab simple objects, such as a tiny tennis ball, and then throw them at high enough speeds to rival a bullet or cannon ball. She could also do other things, but these are only a few examples of how much she could potentially do. Her powers are strong enough to allow her to go toe-to-toe against even a strong Demon.

Strengths: Friction and inertia manipulation, and limited control of kinetic force via touch or physical contact.

Weaknesses: Despite all her powers, Dixie is only a human, and happens to have a large number of weaknesses to offset her strengths. Therefore, she can be easily injured and killed if she is ambushed or surprised by an attacker, because she has to actively think about using her powers for them to work. Because her powers require concentration, she can also easily lose control of them if she is distracted, which isn’t difficult to do, because of her short attention span. Dixie can also only affect things that she is physically touching, and this does not extend to controlling other objects through the ground or wall, her powers aren’t that strong. Also, while Dixie can reduce or increase her own inertia, she is unable to change the inertia of other people or objects, so she can’t actually lift incredible weight, like one might think. Also, if Dixie changes her own inertia, it can lead to problems, too much inertia makes it impossible for her to move, and too little inertia means even something like a gentle gust of wind could send her flying. She could also try to use kinetic force to add power to her kicks and punches, but the fact is the force that was pushed back against her would injure her, so she can’t make super-powerful blows either. She has to use some other object and throw it for her own safety. There is also the fact that sometimes, Dixie, when badly upset, may or may not wind up hurting herself with her powers. This most often happens when she cancels out the friction between her feet and the ground, causing her to slip and fall.

Apep

General Information

Name: Apep
Gender: male
Age: 903
World Origin: supernatural
Identity: Demon/Fay (he’s kind of a borderline)

Height: Normal form: 6’0”. Supernatural form: 7’5” (but 20 feet long from tip to tip counting the tail)
Weight:  Normal form: 190 lbs. Supernatural form: 230 lbs
Eye Color: Normal form: brown. Supernatural form: yellow (like a snake’s eye)
Hair Color:  He’s bald in both forms.
Alignment: Neutral

Personal Information

Appearance: Apep is a muscular Egyptian man with copper-colored skin and dark eyes rimmed in black (like a Greek person’s eye). He’s not bulging with muscle, per-say, but for his age he looks like he could easily get a job as a bouncer at a club. He is bald, causing his average-sized ears to bear a resemblance to rocket fins. He has a well-defined jawline and a mouth that seems to be locked in a mild scowl most of the time. Apep has high arching eyebrows and nostrils that are always slightly flared. A long jagged scar cuts across Apep’s face from the left side of his forehead under his left eye and across his lips, where it ends at his jawline. He has a few similar scars around his body, such as a particularly red scar on his right jugular. Apep’s cheeks have several wrinkles in them, making him look older, as if he’s in his fifties. On the inside of Apep’s right forearm is a tattoo of an adder slithering down his arm towards his hand. Apep wears more or less the same thing every day; a white polo shirt made of stretchable material (like under armor), a pair of tan long khaki trousers, and a pair of white-and-brown golf shoes. The trousers are odd in that there appears to be an unsnappable flap in the back (though it can only be opened from the inside). It’s hardly even noticeable by the average eye, though, so it doesn’t raise many red flags. Hanging around Apep’s neck is a crude wooden ankh necklace that seems to be very old. If it’s particularly cold outside, Apep dons a charcoal grey long coat that comes to a little below his hips.

When Apep enters supernatural mode, he looks more like his namesake: the king of all snakes. When in supernatural form, Apep’s body becomes much more muscular than it already is. His skin is replaced by dark red scales like that of a red spitting cobra’s, and is occasionally adorned with a black band a few inches across. Apep grows a long snakelike tail when in snake form, though keeps his legs. The tail explodes forth from the flap in the back of his pants. Apep’s snake form has a very long neck and head like a spitting cobra’s (dark red with a black hood). The hood is constantly opened, and Apep is unable to close it. Apep sports a rather large pair of fangs in this form, and his eyes are yellow like a viper’s, with a black slitted pupil. Apep’s clothes stay the same when he’s in snake form (thus explaining why his polo is made of athletic material, so it can stretch with his bulk). His fingernails and toenails turn into black lizard-like claws.

Personality: Apep is one part Badass grandpa, one part noble demon with a splash of the deadpan snarker, and a hint of the dragon. Basically (since I doubt you’ll read all of those) Apep was once the king of the badasses. Ruthless and merciless, with a short temper and the mental prowess to control it to his advantage, Apep used to be one helluvan opponent. He has killed hundreds in his life and tortured twice as many. Through it all, though, Apep was noble about it. He doesn’t (and didn’t) stab enemies in the back or cheat people. Apep is always honest and gives you the truth (rather bluntly most of the time). He acts evil (when he has his occasionally fifteen minute break from retirement) but doesn’t intentionally try to be as big of a jerk as he can. He’ll burn down the castle, but only after everyone has escaped. He’ll conquer a village but won’t completely destroy it to make an example because that’s petty. Apep sees himself as too strong to sink to those levels, and so he doesn’t do those things. Apep’s put it all behind him, though. He doesn’t fight or kill anymore (unless you’re dumb enough to step foot on his lawn) and he no longer devours souls. Apep will do whatever he has to in order to prevent fighting, though will still kick your ass if you try to harm himself or an innocent person. He is a master of the “not my problem” excuse for not fighting, something that he regrets but sees as necessary. Oftentimes when Apep uses his powers he finds himself reliving the days when he fought against armies of Crusaders and Moslems, something that he regrets very much. I wouldn’t assign PTSD to Apep, but he has the occasional nightmare (questionably a nightmare). Now Apep spends most of his days in his home in Edgehollow, tending to his greenhouse garden or reading the over two-thousand years of classic literature that he ignored while chopping heads. He is currently working on a novel accounting his time as a soldier in the Egyptian army (why not, you know?). He travels quite a bit, often visiting sprawling ancient cities like Rome and Constantinople that he hasn’t seen since they were new.

Biography: Still working on this but I want to get the sheet up. So WIP.

Family: Being an immortal snake demon doesn’t really work well with raising a family.

Relationships: Apep more or less tends to himself and stays out of other conflicts.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Apep has mastered quite a few mediums of combat in his day and age. He can fight very well with several swords. He is decent with a gun, but prefers bladed weaponry. Apep is very knowledgeable about many things, and is a history wizz (considering that he lived through most of it). He speaks *takes deep breath to prepare self* Ancient Egyptian, Latin, Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, Hebrew, French, English, portuguese, russian, and a little German. He can also read Egyptian hieroglyphics.

Powers: When in human form, Apep is relatively limited. In all forms he is resistant to damage by normal weapons and has an advanced healing factor (like all demons). He can see the supernatural and is very good at cutting through the best of disguises (he knows the rooster is a cockatrice just by looking at it). In both forms Apep is capable of spraying molten copper like a spitting cobra at opponents (though when in snake form this copper is twice as hot). Ramses is in top physical condition in human form and is pretty strong (not quite bench-press-a-prius-while-breaking-your-arm strong, but he can hold his own in an rp filled with superhumans). When in snake form, Apep gets a lot stronger. His strength nearly doubles and he becomes capable of moving at 45 mph, something that human form Apep couldn’t dream of. Apep’s bite does not contain poison, but instead is flaming hot, badly burning enemies who are bitten by him. He can spray molten copper accurately from fifty feet. Another power Apep has when in snake form is a limited ability to control aspects of the weather, namely humidity and heat. Apep can intensify the sun’s rays  and cause the humidity to drop significantly, turning any battlefield into a desert. If you’ve really pissed him off, Apep can raise the temperature to around 125 degrees, hot enough to seriously handicap enemies. He can control winds limitedly as well, allowing him to buffet enemies with super-hot wind or cool himself and allies with a cool breeze. Finally, Apep can communicate with reptiles (namely snakes), as well as supernatural creatures similar to reptiles (dragons, cockatrices, basilisks, etc).

Strengths:

-demon damage resistance
-can spray molten copper at enemies
-burning bite
-super strength
-relatively fast speed and reflexes
-can intensify the sun’s rays and decrease humidity
-can talk to snakes.

Weaknesses: Firstly, weapons with seals can hurt Apep just like any other demon. He can also be permanently harmed (as in bypasses his healing factor) by silver and “living metal”, Damascus Steel (it’s said the metal was invented for the sole purpose of killing Apep). Apep cannot stand humidity and cannot swim. He naturally sinks in water. Apep absolutely cannot stand the cold, and can freeze to death easily due to his cold blood and desert environment. Apep’s sun powers only work when it’s sunny out- he cannot cause the clouds to move out of the way of the sunlight he’s intensifying. Another issue with Apep’s powers is that he’s not immune to his own heat waves, which is why he needs to keep a cool breeze on himself whenever he’s using his powers. If one were to prevent him from creating this breeze, then he would eventually overheat just like everyone else (though he comes from the desert and is used to extreme heat, so it would take a while).

Other: Apep has a pet Pharaoh (breed of dog) named Ramses. I won't make a sheet for the dog because it has absolutely no supernatural powers whatsoever. It's just a dog.

Hanging on Apep's wall is his old sword, a Turkish shamshir. The sword is from the 18th century and has been very well preserved. It has three sigils etched into it by an Arabic seer that Apep was once friends with long ago. The sword harms spirits and demons in the same way that seer weapons can.

Sundara Mauta

Theme:

General Information

Name: Sundara Mauta
Gender: Female
Age: 1443 (Physically 22)
World Origin: Supernatural
Identity: Demon

Height: 5'7" (Human), 6'8" (Demon)
Weight: 138 (Human), 214 lbs (Demon)
Eye Color: Deep blue (Human), Icy blue/Blood red (Demon)
Hair Color: Black (Both forms)
Alignment: Combine

Personal Information

Appearance: The best way to describe Sundara is a white washed Indian (actually from India, not a Native American). Most people wouldn't know a thing if she didn't wear a traditional bindi (the bead or paint worn on the forehead of female followers of Hinduism). The one that she prefers is in the shape of a spear, which signifies victory, the vanquishing of enemies, or removal of obstacles. In contrast, she goes for a skater based look. Her genes, and a lack of sun compared to her home country make her well within the Caucasian range of skin tone. Shoulder length straight hair simply falls down her back. Sundara avoids most headwear, but embraces jewelry. These are primarily gold and ruby earnings, necklaces, or bracelets of her culture that don't look too out of place in western society. As far as facial features, Sundara has large eyes that are slanted inward, a tall nose with smaller proportions length and widthwise. Full lips reside above a shallow recessed jawline. Her cheekbones are soft and undefined, while her brow is just the opposite. Upon it well kept, feminine brows reside. She only applies a tight ring of dark eyeliner, mascara, pink lipstick, and nail polish for the makeup department. Her forehead and neck are both a little taller than average. The rest of her body is slender, athletic, and quite attractive. Clothing consists of anything short, loose, and without a logo. Belly showing tank tops and jean shorts are at the top of the list. Footwear is almost exclusively limited to roman style leather sandals.

In her true form, Sundara grows taller and gains an extra pair of arms. Her skin, including her lips and fingernails, become a shade of blue. The length of her tongue increases to the point where she can easily lick her chin. Already light blue pupils become solid, glowing, icy blue or blood red depending on her state. A golden crown/frontal helmet with a ruby at its center appears on her head. Street attire is replaced with several ornamental necklaces, and a short plated leather skirt parted on each side, the metal pieces also golden in color. Matching armbands and ankle bands take the place of anything on her wrists, arms, feet, or legs. This leaves her barefoot.

Personality: Sundara has an almost bipolar way of looking at the world. Despite the cultural artifacts she dons, her beliefs are far away from that of Hinduism. The idea that God is in everything and everyone is absurd. In her eyes gods are the supernatural, beings like herself. Not even the imbued meta-humans, or the sensitive seers, and alchemists hold a candle to her perceived glory. Though they do stand miles above simple mortals. This is more of a thing she keeps to herself, unless somebody comes up and blatantly states her true nature. In which case she will be very clear as to whether she thinks of them as an equal or not. Defeating her in combat is the only thing that will ever change her mind on this, which so far has not happened at the hands of any mortal. Once you get past that, Sundara actually has a very pure personality. All races and sexes are equal, every life has value, preserve the planet, and so on. What sets her apart from a stereotypical hippie is that she is very warrior like, vengeful, and hates substance use. The body is your temple, the mind is meant to be honed. Overweight, uneducated, unemployed, and addicted people sicken her. Racism, sexism, prejudice, needless killing, vandalism, littering, and similar acts make her furious. She isn't afraid to say so either. Sundara will very bluntly tell the offenders how she feels, sometimes even resorting to insults. Especially against repeat offenders. However, swear words in her mind are lame excuses for coming up with something clever. During the whole time she will remain totally collected on the outside. As of the moment Earth isn't a part of her world, and until it is she won't go off her rocker on anything that doesn't involve the supernatural. This includes anything demeaning said against her. She'll very simply confirm or deny it carelessly. Actions speak louder than words to her. If it's about anything physical (human or demon self), her competitiveness will urge her to issue a challenge so they can prove it. Until then it's meaningless. The exception is any credible threats issued by the supernaturally wary. A spark of her older self is ignited then that will cause her to attempt to kill the transgressor at every opportunity until they submit and convincingly withdraw the statement, or one of them is defeated.

While on the path of rage and destruction her demeanor changes drastically. She will laugh manically, rant about death, hiss like a snake, and make other predatory animal noises. Attempts of getting her to speak coherently from anyone are doomed to failure.

Biography: War, war, and more war. For a natural lifetime she was on the front lines of wars versus all manner of the supernatural, including fellow demons. There were more reasons and battles than could reasonably be listed, however all of them Sundara agreed with on some level. Eventually she grew tired of it, and decided to uphold the balance in her own fashion, mostly by attempting to behead anyone that didn't agree with her ideals. Not long after she briefly revealed herself to ancient mortals, who worshiped her as their goddess of destruction. And rightfully so. Afterwards, she wandered across the continents of Africa and Asia doing various things, among which were leading countless regular lives, and even a few marriages. Most of her husbands were brutally murdered because of their view of women though. In the fifteen hundreds, when many European countries were having, or on the way to their colonial periods, she decided to leave what she knew for new experiences. Slowly her murders began to dwindle as humans began to expand exponentially, and advance technologically. In present day she has full control of her urges, and does not reveal herself despite the sickness she sees everywhere she turns. As not to stand out, she has embraced western trends sweeping the globe. Some of them are actually to her liking.

Family: None

Relationships: Can't come up with anything worth mentioning.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Over a thousand years, one can learn a great deal of things. To start off with, Sundara is an artisan in a wide variety of civilian occupations that have existed since ancient times. Smithing, carpentry, carving, cooking, farming, fishing, glass blowing, herbalism, hunting, performing, pottery, sewing, and weaving. Aside from English she can speak just about any prominent, or formerly prominent language that has roots in Africa or Asia decently well if not fluently. This includes: Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (and it's variants), Hausa, Hieroglyphs, Hewbrew, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Kiswahili, Korean, Lingala, Malay, Persian, Sanskrit, Swahili, Thai, and Vietnamese. Exceptions are Greek and Latin, which she picked up later. Lastly, Sundara has blended her mastery of both armed and unarmed martial art styles of Gatka, Kendo, Mardani Khel, Musti yuddha, Silambam, T'ai chi, Thang Ta, and the mother of all martial arts, Kalarippayattu, into a unique and nearly unparalleled fighting style (most of these are Indian, sword based martial arts). In modern times Sundara is gifted at most sports. She is so mental and physically honed that it just come's naturally. As part of her current disguise she has learned to skateboard and longboard at near professional levels. Additionally, she has a post high school level of education with emphasis in English, mathematics, art, world history, physiology, and anatomy. However, she has no degrees in anything.

Powers: Sundara can detect the supernatural, and is ageless in both her human and true form. When she breaks through the barrier into her demon form she gains a number of supernatural abilities. First, she can run consistently at a speed of thirty five miles per hour. Between her arms she can lift over three tons, since she has four that's roughly one thousand five hundred pounds each. Additionally, enhanced reflexes, and a regenerative healing factor allow her to avoid some attacks, or more quickly close ones that land. Her skeleton is incredibly strong and tough to damage. Desert temperatures have little effect on her. Night vision, and the ability to sense sources of blood loss in volumes of an ounce or greater within ten miles are readily available. This detection method differentiates between the six factions and regular humans. Three simple, but powerful demonic melee weapons can be summoned at will, along with a pan of red incense. Her preferred choices are two sickles and a trident. These weapons bypass the damage reduction of most Demons/Fay and Spirits, as well as slice though common materials with ease. Following is Sundara's two combat modes, and a limited ability.

The default combat mode for Sundara is the path spirituality and grace. While active, her third eye, or the mind’s eye is open. This essentially grants her a sixth sense that allows her to feel everything around her in a fifty foot radius. Weaknesses in her foes not readily available become known to her. Also, the reflexes normally granted to her double. In combination this allows her to catch an arrow fired at the back of her head with ease (there are normal people that can catch arrows). The longer she manages to stay centered, the better her speed and agility becomes. Eventually to the point where she run up vertical surfaces, or even deflect bullets.

When at least a pint of blood has been spilled in a fight, Sundara can give into the path of fury and destruction. At two pints, she has no choice. The incense she carries can also be used to jump start her rage prematurely, same with cutting herself. Right off the bat she gains twice her normal strength, enhanced durability, and pain suppression. Additionally, she exudes an aura in a fifty foot radius that makes wounds bleed more, and heal much slower. While in this state, time spent in combat, additional blood spilt, and other's fear increase these stats exponentially. The order of blood strength from greatest to least is her own, other Demons/Fay, mythical creatures, meta-humans, the other three classes are tied, human blood, and then animal blood is the weakest. When the air is sated with the stench of iron from all the blood, Sudara's weapons are imbued with red destructive energy.

While enraged Sundara's side of spirituality and grace can still call out to her. When activated she will spiritually refocus, and take up a sometimes precarious looking standing, or even upside down meditation pose. While in this state her regeneration is increased by tenfold until she calls it off, is interrupted, or completely healed. After a successful use of this ability Sundara is immune to the call of blood for a short while.

Strengths:
-Top notch physically in human and demon form.
-Well trained.
-Has damage resistant armor plates and jewelry.
-Is a precision and agility based, or strength and durability based melee machine.
-Gets more powerful from multiple sources.

Weaknesses: In human form Sundara is limited solely to supernatural detection. She has no damage reduction, and her armor barely covers anywhere. The top and back of her head, her entire torso (aside from necklaces, which do cover more space than you'd expect, refer to my avatar), the vast majority of her arms and legs, hands, and feet are all completely uncovered. Seer weapons and seals can damage her skeleton, and for what it's worth, her armor and jewelry. Her speed is well above human capabilities, but falls short in comparison to many other supernatural. Some of her other stats start off lower than others of her kind as well, or are completely absent. For anyone who can't see in the dark, Sundara's glowing eyes give away her position when open. She has no way of detecting anyone who's uninjured aside from normal senses, and while she can tell what they are based on their blood, she has no way of telling who they are. Weapons and incense can only be summoned once per transformation. Manage to disarm her and she is left with her much less effective fists, or the inability to rage at will. They can be used against her to great effect, though you don't want to be holding them if she gains her destruction imbuement. They disappear when she reverts back to her human form.

While on the path of spirituality and grace, Sundara can only perceive one weakness, per opponent, per battle. I'll even let the owner choose what weakness she discovers, however she will learn a new one each time. Some weaknesses are obvious, so this isn't always useful. Also, just because she knows a weakness, doesn't necessarily mean she can make use of it herself. While she can gain the reflexes needed to deflect a bullet, it is usually very unlikely. The first reason for this is that when fighting a gun wielding opponent she'll likely take enough hits to be forced into her rage mode. Secondly, bullets range from eight hundred miles per hour (subsonic rounds) to four thousand miles per hour (high velocity rifles). The only foreseeable way for her to make use of this talent is for her to be in a fight with a non-gun user for some time before getting shot at. Essentially this will never happen in a duel with an experienced marksman. Even if it did she'd be unable to block standard rounds (or better) at point blank range. Shotgun blasts are out of the question.

On the path of fury and destruction Sundara sacrifices some of her other abilities. As she becomes stronger and tougher, her reflexes and intelligence steadily dwindle. The fact that blood forces her rage can be used to an opponent’s advantage. Her anti-healing aura also affects herself, effectively negating her own regeneration factor almost entirely. Since it's only a fifty foot radius, anybody can leave the area, heal up, and then come right back environment permitting. Additionally, unlike her other combat mode, she only gains strength for time in combat, not time transformed. Both of these make hit and run style tactics quite effective. Blood is the most effective way to strengthen herself. Spirits among other supernatural don't have blood, or have bloodless forms. As far as her own blood, fire, acid, poison, blunt strikes, and other types of attacks cause minimal or no blood loss; thus keeping her potential power from emerging.

When using spiritual refocus, Sundara is still able to move and dodge attacks, but unable to retaliate. Should she strike back her meditation will cancel, and she will not gain the benefit of being able to resist the path of fury and destruction. Same thing goes if she gets hit by an attack that knocks her off balance. The first major drawback of the successful use of this ability is that should she change her mind, not even her incense can make her rage until the duration is up. Second, all time based gains acquired are reset. Last, it's on a timer of fifteen minutes, so strategic use is necessary. Considering it'd be wasteful to use it early on, only in a fairly long fight would she gain an additional use(s) of it.

Aside from throwing her weapons (at the expense of potentially losing use of them), Sundara has no built in range attack.

Other: When going about on ventures that don't involve the supernatural, Sundara often uses her skateboard or longboard as transportation.

Morbus and Emily Shelton

Theme:

General Information

Names: Morbus and Emily Shelton
Genders: Male and Female
Ages: 264 and 19
World Origin: Human
Identities: Necrotic parasite and human

Height: 5'5"
Weight: 108 lbs
Eye Color: Dull grey
Hair Color: Jet black with purple highlights
Alignments: Morbus doesn't care whatsoever, Emily isn't even aware of the barrier's existence, but she'll likely be combine.

Personal Information

Appearance: Morbus shares Emily's body, and she looks absolutely wretched. Maybe even slightly scary. Bags under the eyes, deathly pale complexion, cold and clammy to the touch, regularly covered in grime. Those familiar with her overlook it since she's poor, a known drug user, and anorexic. Medically it doesn't add up though. According to a doctor she doesn't eat enough to survive, yet she's still walking, and has meat on her bones. There's next to nothing in the way of fat, but it doesn't appear like she's starving either. Her bones show through her skin enough to be considered on the unhealthy side, just not dangerously, or even extremely unattractively so. Now Emily is no looker, however if she got some color back in her face, lost the sleep deprived look, and maybe got cleaned up a little, she'd be presentable enough to at least be considered by somebody. As it stands, the effort she puts into her hair and cosmetics shows that she isn't completely careless about her appearance. Her hair is extremely long, ending inches past her knees. A haircut would be too expensive, and she doesn't care to cut it herself. Two tattered red ribbons at the back on her head divert it into a double ponytail. Days without bathing result in her strands being greasy, and filled with particles such as dirt. Smeared eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, and chipped fingernail polish are evidence that she can get her hands on makeup from time to time, or that she uses it sparingly. Everything is in midnight black in color.

Nearly lobeless, meager sized ears stick out between the fringes on either side of her head. Her eyes are unusually big, rather far apart, more rounded on the outside, and pointed inside. They are often obscured by her bangs. Her pupils are abnormally large, and are dilated or contracted all the time. She has lofty eyebrows that reside upon an undefined brow bone, they're slender enough in proportion that they almost look like they were penciled on. Since she has a small forehead, there isn't much space above them to where her hairline begins. People say that her tiny pointy nose is so small that it's barely even there. Emily's mouth is large, her lips wide and thin. Dark stains cover the front of her otherwise decent teeth. The general shape of her jaw is somewhat angular, though her chin round and recessed. It's hard to tell that she has high cheekbones due to them not being very prominent. Her head is quite sizable, especially compared to her tall slender neck, and petite body. Scars from injections and self inflicted cuts litter her frail limbs.

All of Emily's clothes have been scavenged from places of charity, like the church, or the Goodwill if the town has one. She always goes for the nicest gothic clothing she can find, though nothing stays that way for long. Despite her situation, she is picky enough that few outfits meet her criteria. This leaves her with wearing the same clothes week after week, oftentimes day after day. Spots begin to collect, tears and holes accumulate. Pretty soon they aren't in very good shape anymore. That is if they were to begin with, after all you never know to expect from hand me downs. Sometimes what she grabs fits right in with her ragged wardrobe. Other times she finds something that's hardly been worn, like her new favorite bottom. A black frilly skirt that almost seems like part of a school uniform. She's been wearing it every day since she found it, and likely will until it appears no better than her rest. Even though it's faded and ripped, Emily considers her oversized Slipknot band shirt to be the best find in the world. Along with those she's been wearing her most prized pair of shoes, a pair a tall black leather combat boots as a way to culminate her satisfactory getup. They are the type meant for fashion that lace all the way up to the top in similar fasion to a corset, though the traction on the bottoms isn't just for show. They go nearly up to her kneecaps, and on the left side the sole is coming apart. An new spiked leather wristband that she wears on her right arm, and a black studded belt missing a number of studs make up her accessories. As far as jewelry she wears cheap die cast skull earnings, and a silver locket in the shape of a heart. Inside it resides a picture of her family with her fathers face scribbled out. It is the only expensive thing she owns.

Personalities: Morbus is completely self interested, and enjoys other's suffering. Even before he was aware of it, his very existence hinged upon inflicting pain, and leaching off of others. It's only fitting that he'd feel the same way with his drastically increased intelligence. It's how he survives, and there's no use fighting it. Of course it's gone from sustaining himself, to taking pleasure in the act. Now he goes out of the way to make his already miserable host more so. As of the moment his goal is to make Emily wish she were dead beyond the point she already did. So far it's working. He'll eventually deliver her wish, it will be on his own time though. Once she's finally come to grips with the new her, and after he sucked her dry. In his mind she is his puppet to toy with as he pleases. If he can torment those around her as well all the better. They say misery loves company, but he won't even grant her that. She was already doing a good job of pushing others away from her, and he'll do everything in his power to keep that trend going. Especially from the supernaturally wary. The less she knows, the more easily she is controlled. Then there's also a preservation factor. So far nobody has figured out how to liberate a host from his clutches without killing them, however if anyone were to it'd be by supernatural means. Most likely a Seer or Alchemist. While Morbus cares little for Emily, it is imperative that she remain intact until he's through with her. This takes presidence over all else, and will sometimes result in him 'saving the day' if you will. Just to make sure he isn't seen as having a guardian angel side, he always makes sure to make up for any perceived kindness with undue agony. On the other hand, anything non life threatening and she'll be left to her own devices. The exception is going unconscious, in which case he always can, and always will take her body for a spin.

Ever since Emily was enrolled in public school, she has been lonely, doubtful, and depressed. For the longest time she held onto the hope that things would get better, her mother leaving shattered that. Now when she chooses to walk the halls she feels utterly alone. With everything going on in her life openly bullying her is strongly reprimanded, but she can feel their stares, and hear them talking behind her back. She feels just as discouraged as she did years ago, which is a main contributor to her lack of self esteem. After so long of enduring it she keeps her head down, and goes about her business. Not everyone is bad, and many do try to help. Emily refuses all of it unconditionally. Anyone that tries is ignored and avoided. Once somebody called child help services from a larger city to come down to Edgehollow, she ran into the woods and wasn't seen for a day. It doesn't matter if they're sincere or not. They wouldn't approach somebody else like they do her. She doesn't want pity. All she wants is to be understood and accepted. Truthfully, the people she gets along with the best are those that fuel her addiction. Her dealers treat her like any other customer. In response she blocks out the world, and masks all her pain with substances. Teacher's never call on her anymore, both a blessing, and a curse. A reminder that she's a freak. They, like everyone that cared gave up on her eventually. Emily is able to keep her head down at the back of the class, draw freely, whatever she wants so long as it's nondisruptive. Art is one of the only things she truly enjoys or is good at in school. Sometimes she will only show up for that class. It's been proven verbally that she is actually quite bright, though does terrible on everything written. Reading, spelling, and math are equally poor. This makes her feel dumb, and quit before trying. Even on the most lenient individual education plans available, and graduation is still out of the question. Any desire to learn that she used to have wiped away by her troubles. Hardly anything or anybody can get her to speak anymore. She is simply along for the ride and doesn't care for interaction. Best not let anyone in least they be hurt.

Whether she likes it or not, Emily photographically remembers experiences, locations, and faces, while quickly forgetting factual information that she can't relate to. Good things past, like family trips, and the unfortunate events that took their place stand out in her mind foremost. Every memory only makes her feel worse about her current situation. What she wants above all else is a way out. There isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't wish she ended it sooner, while she still could. Second to that is wishing that her father's accident was fatal. Surely her mother wouldn't have abandoned her then, and that way her impression of her dad would be unstained. In the days that she used to call him dad. It was shock more than sadness that kept her from going anywhere after his untimely demise. Since then she hasn't shed a single tear for him. Before she had nothing to lose, now even more so. However, she harbors a fear of hurting anybody else. Her original train of thought after discovering that she couldn't kill herself, was to make a difference, and run wild. Do reckless things like interrupting muggings, or robbing higher class storefronts than normal. All that has changed. The door was locked that night, which leads her to believe that she was responsible for the ghastly scene. Murdering him had crossed her mind on several occasions, except nothing human would have torn him apart like that. As a result she believes that not only would world be better off without her, but that each breath she takes put her one step closer to causing somebody harm. Recent hallucinations have also convinced her that she's insane.

Biographies: Morbus's origin is unknown. The mostly likely scenario is that like some single celled organisms can append their DNA, a simple parasite was exposed to the otherworldly energy beyond the barrier. Very similar to a meta-human. However, he exhibits some demon like characteristics. This suggests the intentional, or unintentional meddling from their kind. Anyways, in the first year of his new life he found himself a human host and began to feed off of him. Morbus ended up living and growing much past the normal lifespan of any dependent creature. Towards the end of his first victims life, he developed near sentience. Over the years he jumped from one person to the next leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. As he grew in strength and intelligence, he started having preferences. His favorite targets became the downtrodden of society, particularly women. It is as such that when he killed his former host, whom he priorly compelled to move to Edgehollow, Emilly was a prime target.

In her earlier years Emily had a pleasant life. A loving stay at home mom, and a hardworking dad. In preschool she was diagnosed as dyslexic, so her mother quit her job to home school her. On the other hand, her dad worked on a oil rig up in Alaska. She'd see him off and on for about six weeks at a time. He was always very loving of the two of them, and they'd often go on trips to experience the world outside of small Edgehollow. Everything was nice, everything was simple. That is until at age twelve an accident at work injured her fathers back. It was severe enough that they wouldn't let him return. Now he was a high school dropout, and didn't have any experience outside of manual labor. After months of fruitlessly looking for a job, Emily's more educated mother was forced to go back to work. This drove him to the breaking point, and he began to drink regularly. Poor Emily was forced to go to the town school, where she tested two grade levels bellow her age. She was socially awkward with children her age from homeschooling, and made fun of for many reasons. Being the oldest in her grade, dressing like a kiddie, not knowing swear words, believing in Santa, you name it.

Even with her mom now working, they still couldn't support their former lifestyle. This resulted in them moving into trailer. One day she came home to hear her parents arguing about her dads drinking habit. This continued on for a long time slowly deteriorating the lively household that once was. The situation at school only got worse. Emily turned to wearing dark colors, hardly eating, and cutting herself. Not long after her sixteenth birthday a deeper downward spiral started with the shattering of a whiskey bottle against the wall, followed by her mother taking the one car they didn't sell, and leaving to never return. Her father turned his anguish and sadness on Emily, which in combination with her mother's departure rocked her to the core. She started to skip school, and not come home every night. Instead choosing to sleep in an alley, or on a bench than face her dad. In absence of being provided for, she began to show up to school again for the food, scavenge from the trash, and steal. Looking for a way to end the pain, some of her pawned money, or stolen goods were traded for substances. Cigarettes, alcohol, and any sort of drug she could get her hands on. Never once did she cry out for help, and she denied that which was offered to her. Then slowly she stopped being as tired, hungry, sensitive to pain, and less influenced by her narcotics. It all was replaced by a hollow, empty feeling. At first she just thought it was side effects and tolerance kicking in.

The first time she knew something was truly wrong with her was when she tried to take her own life using a handful of Vicodin taken with vodka. She woke up the next day feeling exactly the same as usual. Next she tried jumping from the highest, most discrete rooftop she could find. She hardly felt a thing, and was able to get right back up. Something was keeping her from dying. At age eighteen she skipped out months since she was legally an adult. Finally she returned home, to find her father drunk as ever. He started going off about how ungrateful she was, and started getting violent. The last thing she remembered was him strangling her against the wall, and she must have passed out. When she awoke what awaited her was like a scene from a horror movie. His body had been horribly mangled and strewn about. It didn't even resemble a human, let alone her dad. For two weeks she didn't leave the trailer at all, and after that she continued on like normal. Except she returned back there each night. She never cleaned it up either. Flies fill the air, and rot has well set in. Emily can't smell it, and she doesn't care anymore. None will be the wiser until the rent is so overdue due that the landlord gets a police officer with a warrant to investigate. Lately she's been hearing voices in her head, and seeing things that aren't there.

Families: Morbus has no family. Emily's father is deceased, and her mother is out there somewhere. No relatives are known to her, or they'd likely have taken her in.

Relationships: None worth mentioning.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Morbus is adept at manipulating his hosts, and those around them. When it comes down to it he can be a convincing bargainer. One of the reasons he's still alive after encounters with prejudiced Demons/Fay instead of being killed as an abomination. Emily doesn't have a whole lot going for her, with dyslexia, and life problems. Not sure if it counts as a skill, but she has extremely good hearing. Aside from that, her foremost talent is art, particularly sketching. In combination with her photographic memory of experiences, locations, and faces, she can create intricate drawings in record time. In under ten minutes she is capable of creating images detailed enough to be used in an investigation. Additionally, she is able to solve puzzles with visual aspects many times without any practice or special training. This extends to things like rubix cubes, traditional locks, and combination locks. Given the right tools and time she can typically breach all but the most modern security (high grade locks, electronic locks, fingerprint scanners, etc). Finally, Emily is a thoroughly convincing liar when she wants to be, and is very street smart.

Powers: Morbus can communicate telepathically with his host, and anyone within twenty feet. This is also the range for his blindsight and supernatural detection, which allow him to sense the environment in all directions. He also gains complete access to the memories of anyone he's bonded with and can exercise limited senses manipulation over them. Furthermore, he remembers absolutely everything, and is capable of replicating and sharing his knowledge with his host or anyone in contact with his host. Anything from factual information, to learned skills is fair game. The nature of the symbiotic relationship confers a number of undead-like traits to otherwise ordinary Emily. So long as he remains inside her body, she gains defunct physiology and a strong regenerative healing factor (to the state she was in when she was first infected, the reason why her scars haven't healed). This hardens her tissue, deadens her nerves, and removes physical vulnerabilities. An added benefit is anatomical liberation. Also, she has no need for food, water, rest, or even air. All poisons, sicknesses, diseases, and drugs have no effect on her. Due to lack of necessary bodily functions she can be completely silent if she stops moving, and she doesn't show up on infrared. The range on being picked up on with supernatural detection is greatly limited as well, meaning that Demons/Fay and Seers have to be in much closer proximity to identify Morbus within Emily. His aura is unlike any other. It's like the energy level of a fully transformed demon is being contained in several cyst like anomalies inside her body. However, it is of something distinctly different, being closer to a meta-demon hybrid if such a thing could exist. Once within conversational range it stands out so much that it's impossible to ignore.

Given the right circumstances Morbus can take over Emily's body and reveal his true and terrible capabilities. He has mastery of neurotically infused nosokinesis, or disease manipulation. First off he can detect and control natural diseases. Accelerate them, boost their potency, increase their contagiousness, or cure them entirely. Next he is able to propagate and spread his own breed of contagion. A necrotic bacteria that can travel through just about any medium, air, water, blood, and so on. Anyone in contact with it begins to slowly die. Cell death is induced in ordinary creatures, Demons/Fay turn to dust. Morbus gains strength from this similarly to the way he is sustaining himself by turning Emily into a corpse. Lastly, he can create undead nosokinetic constructs and body attachments. These can be appendages, implements, weapons, armor, barriers, pretty much anything that can be created from cellular organisms. Material properties can be similar to that of flesh, bone, keratin, or chitin. Attacks made by these bypass supernatural damage reduction. Morbus will commonly severely augment Emily's body and create a giant organic suit of sorts. When in contact with the ground, or something connected to the ground he has tremor sense.

Strengths:
-Tough to kill Emily.
-Isn't afraid of very much.
-Impossible to slay Morbus (thus far) without killing innocent Emily.
-Has some stealth factors.
-Powerful and versatile when unleashed.

Weaknesses: To start off with, Emily has a ton of personal issues resulting from dyslexia and her past experiences. In addition she is physically small and weak; incapable of lifting very much, or running fast. All of it's already outlined in her personal information, so I'm not going to further clutter this section. Morbus has very short supernatural detection range, Emily has none. He isn't very open to sharing his knowledge, and can't really affect anyone other than Emily unless he's in control. Moving on to that, he is unimpeded by the barrier, instead he has to break through his hosts will. There are only three ways he can gain control. When Emily is truly fearful, gives consent, or is unconscious. Here is where some of the abilities he grants her puts him at a disadvantage. Number one, Emily is afraid all the time, but not in the manner he needs. It has to be something like life or death. The only problem is that she wants to die, and after realizing that she can't (as far as she knows) nothing puts her in that position anymore. What could is another being in danger, but nobody is close enough to her for it to make an opening for Morbus. Number two, Emily isn't aware of the parasite within her. As of the moment she thinks that she a monster and that she's going insane. Consenting would requite her to be wary of him, and to give in knowing that he's probably going to kill someone. Even with all the pain she's been through, she wishes harm upon no one. Third, with her undead physiology there only one way for her to go unconscious. Extreme head trauma. Strangulation may have worked in the case with her father, except that was before her condition progressed to the point of not needing air. She also doesn't sleep anymore. Emily might not feel physical stress, however being her is far from fun. Her senses of taste and smell are severely degraded as a result of redundant nerves. In place of need for sustenance she feels a hollow type of agony at all times. The best way to describe it is that her soul is slowly being gnawed away. Last thing for this section is she can't freely detach her limbs with anatomical liberation. They have to be forcefully severed, though they can be reattached at will.

Morbus is killing Emily, and every time he emerges it takes months off her already shortened lifespan. When in control, he can be detected as easily as a Demon or Fay in their true form. He lacks supernatural damage reduction and can be damaged normally by all sources. While capable of influencing natural diseases, he is unable to create them himself. His death inducing virus can be combated in a number of ways. Firstly it stems from him, and takes time to travel. The contagion's success is entirely at the mercy of it's mediums flow. For example, changing the airflow while its airborne can redirect the disease. It will never reach someone upwind or up current. Physical barriers also work. Next, damaging area affects like fire will destroy it outright. If it does reach somebody it's not so fast acting that they couldn't potentially defeat Morbus before it's too late, or simply clear the area. Lastly, the power he gains turning living things into husks is temporary, and needed to continue the effect. He won't be able to continue producing the plague without anything to drain, and what he's already released will disintegrate into dust on it's own.

Nikki Biyung "The Swarm"

General Information

Name: Nikki Biyung ("The Swarm")

Gender: Female

Age: 18

World Origin: Human

Identity: Meta-human

Height: 5'4

Weight: 114

Eye Color: Amber

Hair Color: Jet Black

Alignment: Barrier

Personal Information

Appearance: Nikki is a girl that doesn't appear like the average female. Whether it's her boyish facial features, or her lack of feminine features. It can be hard to tell that she's female sometimes. But an observant eye can definitely say that she's female. Nikki appears very tomboy-ish, to the point where she's near androgynous. Her facial features mostly appear to be male. She has a slim build, that's slightly muscular, but won't impress anybody. She lacks that desired female figure, instead it's a straight figure that lacks curves (Flat chest and butt), and is generally masculine. While she's short in terms of height, her arms and legs are notably long, and she has large, bony fingers. Nikki is an obviously Asian girl, of specifically Korean roots. Her skin is a light-yellow color, that's not exactly perfect. Her skin isn't perfectly clear, since she has plenty of scars on her body, and her knees are pretty scared from falling over as a kid. In terms of looks, Nikki can be called pretty, but she isn't winning any beauty pageants. She does look a bit boyish, but definitely female. Nikki's head is oval shaped and very rounded, her facial features are dull and rounded too. Nikki's cheeks are very notably large and round, but smooth, blending into her face well. They are often the first thing people notice about her. She has small lips, that aren't very girly or anything like that. Nikki has a medium sized nose, that's very pointed at the tips, and her nostrils are very small, and C-shaped. Her ears are medium sized, but notable round. Nikki's forehead is very big, and often the butt of jokes.
Because of her heritage Nikki's eyes are small, slanted, and a brown color. Nikki's hair is jet-black, and short. She keeps it in a high-profile style, and a bit of it brushed over the left side of her forehead.

Personality: Nikki is a rather noble and kind person. She lived her life as a loner, and it shows in how she behaves around people. She's shy, rarely speaks, and is quite hesitant, when around strangers. She keeps to herself most of the time, and tries to appear serious as possible. However, when around people; she's much warmer and much more receptive. She can be seen smiling and generally acting cheerful, and playing around like a girl her age shouldn't be. Nikki is nice and warm to just about everyone when they haven't done anything to provoke her. But despite this, she isn't far away from socially awkward, and really lacks confidence. Nikki is a very open minded isn't bothered by issues like homosexuality and transgender-ism. She doesn't judge people based off such things, and is willing to try things. When the time comes, she's much more serious, and is a very focused person. Thinking through decisions greatly. Her weakness comes when she doesn't have time to think, only time to act. Which can cause her to mess up things. When provoked, she can be quite aggressive and lash out at the aggressor. And she can get super pissed off. To the point where she throws out logic and says/does something she'd regret later. Merely because she's put up with things that caused her great stress and emotional harm, and she doesn't like anymore. Nikki also has a habit with holding grudges against people - Because once they've pissed her off, they'll have to try their damn near hardest to redeem themselves.

Nikki is a... bored girl. She was bored with her current life, and where she feared it was going. Which is why she's decided to take up the mantle of a vigilante. Not just for heroic reasons, she just wanted some excitement in her life. It's a rush to be out there fighting crime. Fighting demons and beating up criminals. Which satisfies her boredom with life, and she's making the place a better place. However, that boredom and displeasure has seeped into her work as a hero. Sometimes she feels like things aren't going to get better as hard as she tries, and she's only wasting her time. On top of that, she fears the excessive damage she does whenever she gets into a fight. In terms of D&D morality, Nikki can be classified as Chaotic or Neutral Good. On one hand, Nikki tries her best to appear as the ideal person that makes the best choices and saves everyone. On the other hand, she isn't the ideal hero. She is a Anti-hero in a way. She won't let rules get in her way, nor does she have many inhibitions preventing her from killing an especially dangerous man. But only when there seems to be no other choice, will she resort to these drastic means.

Biography: Prepare yourself for complete sub-parness! Since I suck at backstories.

Nikki's grand-parents, Jin-Ho & Mi-Cha Biyung, were north Korean immigrants that moved to American several decades ago, along with their child Su-Ming (Nikki's mother). There, they had another child, Lisa Biyung. Their two children eventually met their loves, and had children of their own. Su-Ming met a Korean man in America named Young Jae, married, and had two children, Nikki and Micheal Biyung. Her aunt Lisa Biyung married into a English family known as the Blackmores).

Moving on, Nikki was raised in Illinois, with her family. She didn't exactly have a great time growing up, due to her powers subconsciously attracting large quantities of insects to her. Which made it difficult for her to really connect to people, but she never saw the insects as a real hindrance, nor was she afraid of them. It just hindered her ability to play with other kids. To say the least, she had a less than stellar time in Kindergarten. As her ability developed, it made it difficult to participate in school or stay in one place too long, as the swarm got bigger, and more aggressive and protective of her. To the point where she had to be pulled out of public school, and placed into home school. Where there were less of a risk of her harming people. That said, there isn't much remarkable about her back story.

There was a natural progression of events, as Nikki aged, she received a normal-ish education, but could never get social skills down. She lived far away from other homes, in a place that had a large yard, thus she could go outside and interact with the very arthropods that she had attracted. There she got an idea that she was different from everyone else. Still, for a good deal of her life, she remained the dark little secret of the Biyung family. When she was ten a pedophile had targeted Nikki. While she was playing in her yard, he came up and tried to snatch her out. She was utterly terrified, and couldn't help but scream. The swarm that she constantly attracted was subconsciously ordered to attack him. A few hundred insects that covered his entire being in less than a few minutes. Wasps, bees, cockroaches, ants, beetles - Everything chewing his entire body. Injecting him with as much poisons as they could. He was dead shortly. By that, Nikki's mother and father came out and helped her. It was near impossible explaining that he was killed by a swarm.

That event changed Nikki, and became a defining moment. That was when she finally realized that there was more to the insects than she believed; that she was special. Then Nikki wondered if she could control it. She became even more detached from the social life, but dedicated that time to learning about her power. Spending the next few years training herself to use her power. Which had impressed her, Nikki had learned that she could do so much stuff with her powers, and by an extension arthropods. She could even prevent them from subconsciously coming to her. By the time she was 15, Nikki had a relative grasp on her powers. Then she requested that she attends school. After a few months, the school year started, and she began high school.

High school wasn't easy. Especially since she had rather poor social skills to begin with. Nikki was no less of a loner in high school than she was in home school. Getting shunned and ignored by whoever, even getting her own circle of bullies. Fortunately, she managed to make a few friends in high school, and avoided any and all incidents regarding her power. But still had problem when it came to the social scene. Plus, she was already pretty bored, itching to use her power when she's devoted so much time to training. Nikki decided to put that training to good use. She turned to being a vigilante, you may say. Every night, she went out wearing a hoodie, and used her powers to prevent crimes. Criminals would be found covered in hornet and bee stings, or placed into a cocoon of webs. At first, Nikki was nervous, but in the end, it really helped her. Nikki was much more confident, and did something to alleviate the energy. Despite coming home tired as hell and sometimes; she was doing better when it came to her confidence and stood up to her bullies. Though Nikki got her ass kicked when it came to the latter.

When dark spirits and demons came into play... Well, heh, that's when things got interesting...

Family: The Biyungs are a family of Korean Immigrants who have moved to America. It consists of her mother Su-Min, her father Jin-Ho, her aunt Lisa Biyung (Now married into a English family known as the Blackmores), and brother Micheal Biyung. Fortunately, Nikki has the luxury of a kind family, so she stays in good terms with them.

Relationships: Meh

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Nikki has a little bit of skills under her belt. For starters, she's very perspective, intelligent and logical, and putting those together means that she can figure things other. It also comes with an innate observantness that allows her to pick up details. On the more of a sporty side, Nikki has played Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer, and it has really improved her speed and footwork. She runs fast like an athlete would. Another part of her athletic skill is that she's a very good climber, though most of the things she had to climb were trees. Nikki is also a practitioner of Karate, and has reached Red-belt status. Though, she hasn't practiced in ages, she still remembers enough to get her through it. Under other noncombat skills, Nikki knows how to draw, knit clothing very well, can play the guitar and the flute, and gymnastics.

Powers: ... BUUUGS

Macro-Arthropodkinesis. Nikki has the powerful ability to control Arthropods (Insects, Arachnids, etc) on a large scale. She can sense all arthropods on a large scale, tell what kind of insect they are, and at will control them to make them follow her every wish. This ability allows her to sense what they sense. This power is large scale, thus, she can control thousands of insects at a time and she can control insects from miles away from her. Nikki's degree of skill with this ability is so high that she can individually give commands to the insects.

Arthropod-Biology Manipulation. Nikki's secondary power is easily her most dangerous one. She can alter the biology of any insect within a ten foot radius. Allowing herself to completely redefine their biology to anything within reason. Make them larger, make them poisonous, etc. I am good with bugs, so I (think I) know what I'm doing. And just to clarify, she CAN'T do this a lot, so no armies of poisonous, two foot large, butterflies.

... Psst... Both of these abilities are somewhat connected to her emotions.

Gift of the Seer. Due to a combination of constantly being attacked by Dark Spirits, AND staying in the presence of a Seer for awhile, Nikki has a slight ability to detect the supernatural, long as they are undisguised.

Strengths:
- BEEES!!!
- Has immense physical power and combat capabilities
- Can overwhelm foes
- Very versatile
- Can use her insects to spy on enemies
- Very skilled at fighting and other physical gifts.

Weaknesses:
- Fire is very effective against bugs
- It'll take time for Nikki to gather an effective swarm
- The more insects that Nikki control, the less fine control she has over them
- Killing a large amount of insects at once will cause Nikki a mental shock
- Changing an arthropods biology requires concentration, not completing the process will kill the arthropod.

Short sheet. FROG THE WORLD

General Information

Name: Morgyn Layne

Gender: female

Age: 16

World Origin: human

Identity: Meta-human

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 110 lbs

Eye Color: light brown

Hair Color: dark brown with blonde streaks dyed into it

Alignment: neutral

Personal Information

Appearance: Morgyn is tall and a bit underweight for a girl of her height, only not to an unhealthy extent. Most of her height is from her long legs, in fact, so she doesn't seem that skinny. She has a circle-shaped face and large, light brown eyes. She is Caucasian American and has a dark tan from spending a lot of time outside, with freckles scattered through her body. Morgyn has a small nose and average-sized lips with a pointed chin. Her usually plain, dark brown hair has blonde streaks dyed into it. Her strait hair extends a few inches past her shoulders and is usually kept up in a ponytail. Morgyn has a petite build to her though she is very athletic and should have a more muscular build to her.

Clothing wise, Morgyn usually wears some Nike shorts and a t-shirt that says some school club on it or sport’s team. She is a very athletic person and makes sure that everyone knows it by proudly wearing athletic clothing. Morgyn also wears either flip-flops or some tennis shoes to top off the look. She doesn’t wear accessories besides a few cheap rubber bracelets on her left wrist and a black and pink titanium necklace. As for makeup, Morgyn wears none. She doesn’t carry a purse or bag of any kind-she just keeps everything in her pockets. She does sometimes carry around a backpack, however, for some things and a lot of the times wears a sweatshirt with shorts, as unusual as it may seem at times.

Personality:

Family: I'm just gonna put down her relatives here but not their names then I'm gonna list those who are dead in the family XD
Mom
Dad
2 aunts
2 uncles
2 sisters
1 brother
1 Grandmother
2 grandfathers
12 cousins
-
Deceased: One Grandmother, one uncle, and two cousins

Relationships: Morgyn has a couple friends. None worth mentioning

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Morgyn is something of an overachiever in school activities. She plays several school sports, from soccer to softball to basketball. For grades, she is an A/B student (mostly B’s) but is in several clubs. Morgyn is also someone who likes to socialize a lot. She enjoys talking and let’s just say her contact list has several people on it.

Powers: Morgyn's power has something to do with controlling attention. She can choose if she wants anyone within a distance of 20 feet to look at her or not. Basically, if she doesn’t want people to look at her, everyone who looks her way wouldn't notice her- it would be more of seeing someone out of the corner of your eye, like you couldn't focus on the one area she was standing at. If she wants everyone to be watching her or paying attention to only her, then everyone would suddenly feel the urge to keep their eyes on her. It's a simple, uncommon power, I guess, but it seems fun to use in an rp XD

Strengths: Morgyn of course has her power that makes can be considered a strength, but she is also athletic and is good at sports, as mentioned earlier. She is also goo at socializing, as also stated earlier. I'm not good at sheets so I'm going to stop here XD

Weaknesses: Power-wise, there are some major flaws in Morgan's ability. First of all, her power only works on those within twenty feet of her. Also she can't control who is within twenty feet of her, so basically she can't control who she uses her power on. If you are near her when she uses her power, you are affected. The only way to get around this is also a weakness, however- if one is touching Morgyn when she activates her power, then her power won't work on them. Also there is the classic, "the longer her power is use the more energy it takes" weakness. I think that's just about it.

Personality-wise in the weakness area, Morgyn can seem overly-confident at times and seems to think she can take on anyone. She, thus, is also very competitive. Also Morgyn can become annoying at times with how much she talks. That's just about it- I suck at character sheets -w-'

General Information

Name: Ned Arach

Gender: Male.

Age: 28

World Origin: Barrier

Identity: Meta Human

Height: 6'0 (25'7)

Weight: 166 lbs (38,000lbs)

Eye Color: Blue

Hair Color: Jet Black (N/A)

Alignment: Combine.

Personal Information

Appearance:
Ned is a relatively handsome young man who gives off an unapproachable aura. Not necessarily based off of an intimidation factor, but more based upon his odd way of carrying himself. He appears as a taller white male in his late twenties who seems to analyze things before acting. He is the quiet one, per say. He is thin for his height and lean in figure. He wears simple candor clothing. Black and white. Nothing that would define him in a crowd. Nothing a white shirt, a black jacket some black leggings and some black white and grey shoes cant handle.

Monster form:
Ned become an absolutely monstrous creature, up to nearly twenty six feet tall and weighing several thousand pounds. His monster form dominates the battlefield, which is the only time it is called to use. Incredibly dense armor lines it's entire body, it's only true weak spots being it's head and chest. Four legs sprout from it's body, each with a giant talon used for climbing or walking. It's main offensive weaponry being it's large front talons which are used for stabbing or slicing. It's jaws are lined with up to six rows of teeth that going into it's throat. Following it's body downwards leads to potentially it's most dangerous asset. An abdomen capable of releasing small amounts of a noxious gas into a certain area. It's makeup makes it heavier than oxygen, and is much like Carbon Dioxide in the fact that it will suffocate you if you remain in it, and remains at your level due to it's weight being heavy. It is a read mist like substance that is very fast to act, but also very fast to petter out once out of the cloud. It's other abdominal ability is that it is asexual in this form, and therefor can reproduce on it's own. This creature has the ability to lay eggs that will spawn drone creatures (this ability is passive and will not be used in combat. However it is relevant to his viewpoint). He does however have some protector drones that follow him from the shadows or from the sewers he can call on in either form to defend him should the need be.

Here's my idea of him: Click me!

Personality:
He owns three Scorpions and two different species of Tarantula. Along with many exotic reptiles. Enough said.

Biography: Its a secret.

Family: He's a monster. He ate his family.

Relationships: Unimportant. He's single and will most likely remain that way because of his odd nature.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Rhetoric is his strong suit. He enjoys sarcasm and his ability to convince with the art of language. He is also practiced in the art of stealth. He tends to avoid conflicts as his high center of gravity and low weight usually will become his downfall. His only real combat related skill is his expertise with a home made Tonfa.

Powers:
Ability to transform into a huge spider monster that will ruin your day.

Strengths: Good with a tonfa and a speech-craft genius. Has drones to call on if needed.

Weaknesses: Isn't a combat guy, to huge to fit in small places in monster form, not exactly fun to be around at any time. Creepy personality wise as people define him as spider-like.

Other:
He is not evil, despite supporting the combine. He is the patriarch creature of a currently nonexistent hive that can support hundreds of millions of all terrain drones that will instinctually adapt to every environment. He wants the barrier lowered and the humans extinct so he can begin this... Super swarm. They are terminators. This is not an evil based cause. This is his nature, his drive for existence. A Queen Ant is born to start a new hive. A hive born monster will do anything in it's power to fulfill it's instinctual purpose. While you humans might have Mixed feelings about this, he is not truly evil, but an enemy all the same. Although, he will call a truce if it benefits him.

-Yes, I have permission from Vipera to have a drone or two follow him around for protection if need be.

General Information

Name: Behemoth, goes under the alias of Ben.

Gender: Male.

Age: 352 years old.

World Origin: Even the wall couldnt stop him.

Identity: Earth Demon

Height: 6'10 (16'8 )

Weight: 292lbs (19,000lbs or 9.5 tons).

Eye Color: Blue, iris-less in his other form.

Hair Color: Darker brown. (N/A)

Alignment: Neutral.

Personal Information

Appearance:
Ben is a huge person. He's no Jao Ming in height, but he's bigger than most NFL football players in terms of size as a person. He's just BIG. He's very well built, we're talking Arnold Swarzenegger muscle mass. He has short cropped dark brown hair and a square face. He has a Go-T running along his jawline and chin. The left side of his body is patterned with celtic tattoos, which runs from his collar bone to his fingertips. Ben is built like Shaquille O'Neill, except slightly shorter in height.

Forget description. This is his beast form.

Personality: Ben is a comfortably quiet and collected individual. By no means a dark horse, and not nearly as annoying as Pink is. He likes to define himself as approachable and has a deep and mature voice. He also hopes to forge a friendship with his counterpart despite her less than ideal qualities when it comes to people, and unlike what people make think he does respect her as a counterpart and entity, and holds no wish to destroy her. They are a balance after all.

Biography: He's old. That's all that's worth knowing.

Family: Irrelevant.

Relationships: Connected to Leviathan. Not through romance or friendship, but counterparts are counterparts.

Skills and Abilities

Skills: Surprisingly intelligent for someone as big as he is. Well rounded in terms of knowledge on the barrier and it's contaminants. He is also very good with most forms of armed combat. Unlike Leviathan who prefers bladed weaponry, he likes to use blunt weaponry to inflict the blunt force trauma you always hear about.

Powers:
Unlike Leviathan, he only has one alternate form, being his beast form. However this beast form is more beast than hers. His beast form is like a juggernaut, extremely strong and extremely well defended. It is also very large in size.

His abilities range from form to form, although in beast form his strengths gain tenfold. In both of his states, he has the ability to earthbend like he's someone out of Avatar: The Last Airbender. However while in beast form he has the ability to create small scale earthquakes and fissures. Nothing greater than a category five earthquake, which is defined as being able to: "Cause damage of varying severity to poorly constructed buildings. At most, none to slight damage to all other buildings. Felt by everyone. Casualties range from none to a few."

Although, this power would probably be used in an area of 2-4 on the Richter scale. Because if would be coming from him and not from tectonic plates it would be less of a massive large scale smash and more of a heavy tremor in his general area (Probably going no farther than a hundred yards or so in every direction before dissipating out). As for fissures, which are splits in the ground, I wouldnt expect anything larger than four feet wide and fifteen  to twenty feet deep going at a maximum of 100 feet in a single direction. Nothing that you couldnt jump over if you knew it was there, however they do travel relatively fast and can leave you a sitting duck for a lava ball if caught in one. These will close up after a few hours on their own.

Strengths:
-Can control the land, cause earthquakes, fissures, can pretty much earth-bend in both human and monster form.
-Weather normally grows warmer in his presence. Humidity will rise instead when in Leviathan's presence.
-Vomits Lava

Weaknesses:
-Being in wet areas limit his power.
-Rain is the bane of his existence as he is almost powerless in it.
-Takes time to transform. Even more so than Leviathan.
-Fortunately he doesnt need to be on land a given amount of time every few hours, but being in water for a long enough amount of time will hinder his abilities.
-Slow as a snail until he gets into a charge. Then he's just a freight train.

Other: Mixed.
