SIX CHOICES

So a while ago I took down Emotions because of a bunch of confusion and my inability to explain things correctly. However I have ideas for new RPs that I am keeping simpler and easier to understand. But if there still is any confusion please notify me via pm.

- Mythology themed
The first idea revolves around the concept of creating our own mythology. Kind of like how my old Dawn of Myths RP ran, but using a completely different world with different gods, creatures, and more. The player will enter at least one immortal and then their assortment of mortal characters. They will also be allowed to create their own race.

Note: after the first few plot lines, much of the RP will be focused on mortals, BUT, there will still be parts when immortals interfere with mortal affairs.


- psychopath concept
This idea needs work, as I've barely even started on it. I have a few vague ideas for it though. It deals with a group of terrorists living within US boundaries, managing to remain extremely secretive. They capture people and take them to various secret camps and bases where they are given fair shares of psychochemicals that deteriorate the mind into deranged, blood-thirsty killers. The player will have at least one character as one of these psychopaths. The psychopath characters must slowly crawl their way back into humanity as they begin to realize something is wrong with them. And also note: just because your character is a killer that wants to kill people, that doesn't mean the entire RP is just going to be fighting and killing. Indeed there will definitely be some killing, but also make sure to use character development. And an added item of the story, the characters will try to find out who these terrorists are and why they're doing this.

- Atlantis concept
I had the idea for this a while ago actually. I usually try to think of things the forum hasn't done, things that are new and different. And I've noticed that as far as I have ever seen, there's never been an underwater RP. I have an idea for an RP I would call "Darkwater" in which takes place in Atlantis, the undersea city. You can play as a mermaid/merman or any other type of mythical underwater creature--as long as it's intelligent and isn't enormous. Something anthological at least. But I'd like to have a lot if emphasis on mermaids and mermen. In this RP there will be a lot of conflict between parts of Atlantis' governmental parties and an uprising about to occur any moment. Minor magic will be allowed, but emphasis on minor. Most of your character's abilities will rely on physical characteristics. For example if your character is part octopus, they could squirt out poison ink clouds. There will be some gore, and romances and stoof like zat will be allowed. I will have more details in the OOC, should it be chosen. But those are the big points.

- Whisperer RP
Basically about one of my creepypasta monsters, the Whisperer. I've improved greatly on my ability to create horror stories and have them scare the reader. I posted one of my best a while ago. Find "Shadow in the Corner" in the story section. It will give you the basic feel of what the RP would be like. But I plan on having it simple. The characters will all be around their 20's or so unless it's a special case. I planned for one specific part of the RP to feature them getting trapped in an abandoned insane asylum.

It would take me a while to thoroughly explain the Whisperer, but for the sake of your understanding I will give a brief summary here.

The Whisperer is a gray-skinned creature wearing a black hooded cloak. He has an extremely eerie smile that always oozes blood and enormous white pupil-less eyes. Very greasy skin and enormous black claws. Usually likes to climb on things. Most of his victims have a history of mental illness or depression. Whisperer usually states that he will make his victims "happy" and "turn their frown upside down". (But I won't yet reveal what that means). Whisperer usually travels through walls, roofs, and floors of buildings and houses.

The Whisperer is said to mutilate and eat victims and their loved ones. Usually, he is said to dwell in urban areas. Whisperer sometimes enters homes through the pipes.

Among his abilities, one of the most terrifying is the ability to instantly put a victim into a deep sleep. Victim will have nightmares when exposed to him. While they are asleep he will loom over their bodies.

In their nightmares, they will see the Whisperer and at first be able to fight back, and he will appear to back off. As it progresses over time the Whisperer will begin to try to hurt the victim in the dream. But it's not a physical attack sometimes. Most times though it's more of an indescribably aura that spreads to the victim and generates a feeling no one would ever want to feel. The victim will awake afterwards with a throbbing sensation in the head similar to the feeling of the attack, but with more intensity. Sometimes in the dream the victim does not even see the Whisperer but still feels the attack. Usually this attack occurs around the same time ever night. The Whisperer attacks mentally. He feeds off negative emotions like fear, despair, anguish, rage, and so on.

A way to protect is to sleep on your stomach or feel happier. The Whisperer will feed off of victim mentally and destroy their psyche, then he will feed off of them physically. He may keep them alive and insane for possibly years, then eats them. After the attack, if the victim has any remaining loved ones, they become candidates for his next attacks.

The Whisperer drives people to insanity when he tells them "happy" things in sharp shrills, shrieks, and murmurs. The Whisperer usually has violent, swift, or secretive approaches to victims. Children call him "Happy Man" or "Mr. Smile". They often draw pictures of him or write about their encounters with him. Afterwards they die painful deaths. The most common is the sequence of an absolutely horrific series of seizures. When a Whisperer inhabits a home, it is called a Vex. When a house is Vexed, they will often display strange occurrences. The Whisperer will carve messages into the walls as the was will bleed. Houses react with the Whisperer's presence. Pluming will get messed up, technology acts crazy, pets go nuts, floors will be damp, walls will bleed when "injured". The Whisperer can be repelled by happy emotions basically. There are also many different repellant practices, but those will be revealed later. His catch phrase is actually "Sweet Dreams" (but the way it is in my sig, with the funky letters and stuff).

That's the basic Whisperer info. I think it has potential. But we'll see.



- Witch concept
With this concept, most characters will be witches or warlocks and be powerful magic users. (Though if we do this one, we're not going to so much as reference actual witchcraft, demons, satanism, or anything of that sort as my religious beliefs conflict with that and I would not like to write about it). For some odd reason things are beginning to change in the world. The dead are rising and people are becoming harder to kill. And the characters must figure out why.

- Anthromorphic concept
I opened an RP a while ago called "The Anthro Ages", but it didn't go anywhere because I opened "Atama's Highest" soon afterwards which diverted most attention. So I was thinking I could reopen and redo it, all new and in different ways. I haven't really gotten much of a plot down for it, but the offer remains.

The mythology one sound near but it would've hard to keep people from having their characters become overpowered or just making up a bunch of crazy things just for their character's sake or something.

The Whisperer concept would be a good story, but I don't see it goin far as an rp. ^_^' sorry

I do like the Atlantis idea, as well :3

I like the Atlantis and psychopath ones the best. I'm kinda leaning towards Atlantis myself, but I'll let the community decide.

My only concern for the psychopath rp is that it might be a bit hard to control and keep up with for the main mods for it

I actually expected either it or the mythology one. A lot of people around here seem to like mythical elements in stories.

I do like mythological plots, and a Demi-god approach would've definitely gotten been my favorite XD

I remeber something about Anthro a long while back. I was intersted, but like you said it never took off.

But personally I like mythology RP's I'll go with that one.
