Killers


In the US, approximately over 2 million people die in each year, the causes ranging from natural causes to homicide. The largest number of deaths resulting from murder in the US comes from large cities, such as New York City. In NYC alone, 515 people died in the year of 2011, after being murdered. Some of these deaths were the casualties of mental instability, while others were darker, and more sinister. Some of these dark murders were the result of gang wars, while others were caused by hired hit men: Assassins, killers that will take down anyone, granted that you can pay the price.

In New York, there are two kinds of local law enforcement that almost everyone has heard of, the New York Police Department, and Private Investigators. While NYPD officials and PI detectives have much to do with each other, there exists a bitter rivalry between the two, both groups seeking to catch the criminals before the other. However, for both of these groups, hired assassins may have been the most difficult killers to detain. Assassins do not rely on the same resources as gangs, and keep low profiles, even in the criminal underworld. Such killers are dangerous, and if anyone goes after them, their pursuers may find themselves the next target.

Regardless of the risks, the law insists on bringing all the assassins to justice, while the killers continue to elude them as though made from smoke. While the NYPD and the PI’s attempt to catch them, the hit men pick them off, one by one. Some of them attack with guns, shooting from the roof tops, while others suffer a slit throat, after passing by a dark alley. Others, less violent than most, rely on science to do their dirty work. On occasion, a young officer may suddenly drop dead, after suffering a heart attack, even if they were in perfect health.


Now, a new criminal organization, going by the Latin name Scelus Castus (Pure Crime), has arisen in New York, bringing with it a new surge of crime, as the group attempts a hostile takeover of the territory belonging to all the gangs in New York. Murders soar into the thousands, as betrayal and treachery occur, even reaching into the Mafia, touching the entire globe as a whole. While more people die in the fray each day, the police and PI’s attempt to discover who is responsible for the Scelus Castus, and bring the gang boss to justice. However, this gang is not the only threat they face. As the fighting escalates, more and more assassins are making themselves known, and murders committed by hit men are becoming more common, making their cover difficult to maintain, and causing them to seek out the gang boss, known as Lateo, as well.

Many questions remain. Who is Lateo? Where is he? Who are the Scelus Castus? Both assassins and law enforcement alike want to know.

Appearance: Rodentia stands at about 5’6” tall, with a thin slender figure with a slight build. She has long, wavy, dark auburn hair that falls slightly past her shoulders, and may or may not have one or two knots in it from her nervous habit of messing with it. She has an oval-shaped face, with cherubic lips, and a slight overbite. She has long, dark eyelashes and large, brown eyes that are almost black, giving her a ‘doe-eyed’ appearance. She wears a pair of small, gold stud earrings with single emeralds in them. Rodentia is dressed somewhat poorly. She wears an ugly, dark swamp-green zip-up hoodie that is threadbare and worn from use, over an equally worn, slightly too-large black T-shirt with a red print of a Chinese dragon on it. The bottom of her T-shirt often comes out from beneath the hoodie. She wears dark denim jeans with small rips below the knees, although there do not appear to be any holes, only frayed spots. She wears black running shoes with red soles.

Personality: Rodentia is unusually kind and gentle compared to most assassins. This may be because of her moral ideas, or the simple fact that she is much younger, and has not seen as much strife as others. However, despite this, she is still incredibly dark and intense for a person her age. She often carries about herself an air of negativity, and is an incredible pessimist most of the time. There are only rare moments when she will try to be positive about a situation, and it is usually for the sake of others, and not her own. She has a terribly dark sense of humor, and rarely gets most normal jokes, and sometimes finds some of the worst possible things to laugh at. She also has an affinity for strange things, ranging from deadly things in nature to demolition in a condemned house. It appears that she loves destruction and chaos, as a whole, only becoming distressed herself when she is the object meant to be destroyed. Unlike the assassins that rely on guns and knives, Rodentia uses the most common things in her environment or in nature to do her dirty work. She is a talented poisoner, master of natural toxins, and has a particular liking for setting off bombs, although they are less common, as setting them off draws in the authorities. Another note is that Rodentia is an orphan, her parents having been killed by a gang long ago, and she herself having been believed to have been kidnapped. As a result, she does not live on the surface world of New York, but rather, in an old, cleaned-out sewer pipe that is no longer used beneath the city. There, her only companion is her pet female fancy rat, Snowflake, from whom she chose her nickname, which always rides on her right shoulder, or hides in her hoodie’s pocket. Snowflake is a white rat with a black hood marking that covers the upper part of her body, and trails down her back She also has a heart-shaped mark on her stomach. Rodentia never goes anywhere without her trained pet rat. She is diagnosed with both Asperger’s Syndrome and a very mild case of ADD, although this is not recognizable, due to good coping mechanisms. However, she may at times lack empathy, and traditionally finds it easier to accept that she has killed people than others. She is also a good cook, but most people are reluctant to ever let her touch their food, as she is a poisoner, and lives in a sewer, with a pet rat.

Her mother was unemployed, and stayed at home, caring for her daughter, while her father desperately searched for a job. A year after, when Rodentia was fourteen, her father was murdered, after reporting to the police that a suspected drug dealer was living next to the family, and later discovering that it was a small branch of the American Mafia. Soon after, Rodentia’s mother died, and before she could become a ward of the state, Rodentia herself fled from the suburbs, crossing to the other half of the city with her pet rat, and then descending into the sewers below. As a result, Rodentia was believed to have been kidnapped, and the investigation for the search of the missing Selena Rhodes still goes on in the wrong part of the city a year later. Rodentia, knowing that people believed she was dead, allowed herself to do things that would have made her parents upset and furious. She used her incredible knowledge (Which got her A’s and B’s in school) to begin making poisons, and explosives. She invented a rat poison, and kept it far from her own pet rat, keeping the untamed, possibly diseased vermin away from her living area in the sewer, although her actual location was too far away from the actual active sewer to really be of any interest to a rat, and there was only the faintest amount of moisture in the area. She decided that she would make life for all of the Mafia miserable, and would see their crime bosses fall at her hand, if only to save more lives. However, in order to survive herself, she must acquire food and provisions, which she does by taking jobs from people who are too afraid to hire older, more experienced assassins.

Skills/Abilities: Rodentia is not very strong physically, however, she is capable of carrying a heavy backpack and running at a fast pace, making her able to hold more provisions, although back pain may result. She is incredibly flexible, despite her lack of muscle, and can fit into small spaces with ease. She also has a good sense of hearing and smell in a human sense, which may at times be both an advantage or disadvantage. She also possesses an attentiveness to detail, which allows her to see or notice things others would miss. She has great knowledge at her disposal, which gives her an incredible talent for creating poisons, or crafting explosives. She also has a small talent for rodent communication, knowing reactions of creatures like rats or mice, and being able to distinguish small details like the location of food through them.

Appearance: Detective Claire is a tall woman, standing at 5’9” tall, just one inch shy of six feet. She has a thin, slender figure, and is built with lean muscle. Her straight brown hair is often kept up in a ponytail with a black hairband, but when let down falls to her shoulders. She has a heart-shaped face, and blue eyes, with premature wrinkles on her brow, from three years of stress resulting from being a homicide detective. Her mouth is a firm line. She often wears a black shirt, with a brown leather jacket over it, with blue jeans, making her look somewhat unofficial. She wears brown running shoes with black soles.

Personality: Detective Claire is a very hard, stubborn woman, rarely showing any soft side. She prefers working alone, without any partner to hinder her progress. As a Homicide Detective, she firmly believes that the world is a mess, after apprehending multiple deranged killers. She is disgusted by murderers, especially those that take pride in their dark deeds. However, despite being a Homicide detective for three years, she has only ever heard of Assassins, and has never successfully brought one down. As a result, when she finds leads to an assassin, she seeks to reach the killer first. She does not see assassins as the typical run-of-the-mill homicides, but rather as cold-blooded beings, that lack any emotion at all, in that they could kill for a price, not even considering if they feel remorse or not. She often speaks with a southern accent, but when frustrated or upset, begins to speak with the accent heard in Brooklyn.

Biography: Detective Claire was born in Houston, Texas, to loving parents. However, her mother died when she was five years old, from breast cancer. When Claire was eight, she and her father moved out of Texas and to Brooklyn, New York. There, Claire grew up and entered the law enforcement, after seeing the terrible crimes frequently committed in her particular neighborhood. She became a Homicide detective, and has apprehended multiple criminals over the course of three years. Now, her job is busier than ever, as she must now deal with the new gang wars, and now recently, rising talk of assassins.

Skills/Abilities: Detective Claire is a very strong woman, flexible enough to engage in physical combat and not get hurt. She is also a good shot with her five-round pistol, which she is never seen without, nor her police badge. She has a special something, attributed to ‘cop-instinct’ in that she has almost a sixth sense that allows her to pick out people up to no good.

Personality: Hmm... where to start... they drug the body through here, and, see that smudge of white powder? used lime powder to mask the scent when they first hid it. Oh, and by the way, did you know that lime is poisonous to almost all carnivorous plants? One time, I accidentally bought some sand that a thought was lime free and used it as potting mix and it kille- At this point he's probably going to get cut off and told to shut up and get back to work, but you can see how he earned his code name. As you may or may not have figured out, Seymour is easily sidetracked, and frequently goes on tangents about anything he finds remotely interesting, and, to him, thats just about everything. With all his smarts, he has the inability to know when to shut up or not say anything. So, most of the people he works with tend to wear ear plugs when in the same room unless its something really important, in which case they ...patiently... tolerate his unrelated tirades. Fortunately, its his interest in everything that allows him to spot key data and piece it together right away, although it might not be until the next day that he bothers to tell anyone.
Seymour is also the kind of person that would rather spend his time examining the dust build up on his desk than talking to people, and because of the fact that he neglects to watch the news and is confused by why people do things and how they will react that he comes across as unempathetic towards people, to the point that if you told him that 200 people just died in a earth quake in china he would shrug and say something about how he doesn't live in china.

Biography: Seymour was born in florida where he worked with his parents at a exotic plant store selling orchids and carnivorous plants. His family moved to New York when he was 19 so he could change collages in order to get a degree in forensics.
When not in class or on campus, Seymour worked at his parents shop and did research into in vitro propagation techniques in Nepenthes and Cephalotus. It wasn't until one of his close friends in collage told him that his aunt, who lived in the aria, had been mugged that he made his name out side the field of in vitro propagation.

He had caught the mugger attempting to sell fake Rolex watches on the street because he had thrown several broken watches away in a nearby trash receptacle.

Now, 5 years later he lives at his parents store and works as a PI as his day job.

Skills/abilities: Seymour has photographic memory and has trained himself to always be aware and analyzing his surroundings, so it is very hard to sneak up on him. This makes him very good as picking people out as possible threats or suspects, and is usually correct. However, he isn't at all good at physical combat and can be easily overpowered.

Appearance: The first thing one would notice about Masha is that she seems years, if not decades, older than she actually is. Web-like strandes of wrinkled skin speak of hardship and loneliness as they sit, unmoving, upon her stonelike face. Masha’s eyes, a deep gray-blue, are not by any means fierce or angry - on the contrary, they seem almost friendly, but if any kindness is to be offered then it is the dangerous, two-edged kind, for Masha has lived far too long in far too few years to pursue anything but her own goals.

She stands at approximately five-foot-eight-inches tall. Her black hair, interspersed by strands of gray, hangs in unkempt tangles from her head, tied up in back by a modest black band. Masha’s weary face is thin and with prominent cheekbones, and her intelligent eyes are sunken into her wrinkled brow.

Masha dresses in an old green military trenchcoat and cotton trousers. She wears leather gloves and large brown work boots, each encrusted with decades of dirt and wear – ancient and respected, they are older than she is. Altogether, though her figure is by no means imposing or threatening, Masha commands a passive aura of respect that emanates from her stance, her wordless gaze, her very being; simply being in the same room gives one a sense of inferiority, as if all of their accomplishments and hardships simply fade away under the sheer power of that stagnant, unreadable facade, enhanced by the all-knowing stare of those piercing gray-blue eyes.

When traveling in public necessitates itself, Masha may commonly wear a simple gray suit under a small jacket.

Personality: If it was not already gathered, Masha is not an overly friendly or social character. She categorizes all aspects of life into tactical necessities and unnecessary vanities. This is not, however, to say that Masha is a cruel or heartless person. To go out of one’s way to instill destruction or misery is her definition of evil; to pursue one’s goals no matter the cost is her definition of good.

When amongst friends and subordinates, Masha speaks with a factual and scientific air, speaking only when necessary. Among enemies, Masha’s words seem kind – laced with deception, weaving a web of ignorance so as to allow those present to drastically misjudge her. If Masha is unsure of the alignment of those around her, she may be openly curious, but will never commit to one opinion or another.

All in all, Masha is calculating yet not cold, merciful yet not overly so. She takes but little pleasure from life, and this from the thrill of a hard-earned victory. Her marriage was an emotionless and purely politically-beneficial affair, and her husband has since passed away from a combination of lung cancer, a desolate liver, and sheer neglect.

Biography: Masha grew up in a strict household, which was, for better or worse, conservative in rules of etiquette and proper upbringing. Consequentially, Masha found fitting in with social crowds a difficulty, and her insufficiencies in arithmetic and schoolwork in general only served to ostracize her further. Masha grew up, mentally, via her weekly excursions, through which she developed a picture of the city and surrounding countryside – a blessed wilderness - and nursed ideas which her family’s society would have scoffed at. It was this practice of escaping into the wilderness that, more than anything, secured Masha’s success in the real world. Present-day, she is reserved and contemplative, but can be blunt and stubborn when engaged in conversation – she takes a long time to make up her mind, but once decided upon, her opinion will rarely be altered.

At the age of seventeen, Masha – adopting a new identity name and severing all connections with her family - joined the armed forces and quickly advanced in rank, due to both traditional and slightly less respectable means. To ensure that such means were never uncovered, she was wont to immigrate to the United States, and – after spending a few years as an officer of the NYPD – came across an opportunity to carve out a better life for herself as an assassin, and has worked as such ever since.

Masha is knowledgeable in wilderness survival and knows enough about firearms to be able to operate, and even assemble, most standard-issue models with considerable efficiency. Her strength and stamina are unusual for a woman her age, but nothing incredibly remarkable. Tactically, she is a powerful leader, putting greater interest in the well-being of the many yet failing to see the point of caring for the survival of the few – reasoning that they are responsible for their own lives. After all, if she was able to survive her childhood, and if her soldiers cannot, then they do not deserve the luxury of salvation.

Jakal stands at 5'11 and weighs about 155 pounds. He wears a dark grey hoodie with a leather jacket over it. His eyes are rather intimidating, icy blue with small pupils, like pinpricks of black surrounded by sheets of ice. He has tribal tattoos on both of his forearms, and has a large and jagged scar running from his shoulder to his waist. He is lean, toned, and wiry with muscle.

Personality: Jakal is the kind of person that will kill you without a second thought and then move onto the next guy. Silent and efficient. However, he is more of a "In the shadows" specialist. He works in the dark, and strikes when the target is at it's weakest. He is not someone that you want on your bad side. He emanates a darker aura and is a very intimidating person, putting off men that would normally try and pick a fight with him. He isn't one to talk, and mind's his own business until someone disturbs him from his peace. He doesn't go and take in detail, he gets in and gets out. It's why he's so good at his job. There's no emotion or mercy, just a bullet to the head. However, he is only like this because he was raised so badly, he has had absolutely no love in his life. His mother killed herself, and his father beat him up. Kids he was around when he did go to school (Before he ran, see: Biography) thought of him as a freak and avoided him. He had no friends, no real mother, no real father, no siblings. The closest he ever got was the man who took him in and trained him (See: Biography) and no love was shown there. Just a bed, two meals a day, and training. He shows little emotion other than hate and anger, which is shown every once in a while when the target fights back, or when something gets in the way. His humor is rarely shown, but when it is, it's a simple smile and the nod of a head. If you get that, it means he likes the joke. He doesn't know many things besides the education he did get while in his high school and training. He cant really cook, he can't do chemistry, he cant socialize, he doesn't know how to do much besides kill.

Biography: His childhood was a very troubled one, raised by an alcoholic mother, and an abusive father. His mother finally filed a divorcee and his father's crime became apparent. His father, blaming it on him, slashed his back with a steak knife. The father was sent to jail soon after, and his mother to rehab. He was sent to the hospital. At this time, he was eight years old, and no longer spoke a word. When he recovered, he learned his mother had committed suicide, and his father was still in the law's custody. He was put up for adoption. Until he was twelve, he was sent from foster family to foster family, and began to grow darker and darker. Never doing drugs or drinking, but he became a feared person, his foster families wouldn't dare talk to him. By the age of fourteen, he was gone. He unwillingly became a hitman, killing others for money, and using the earnings to keep up rent in an apartment and for food because he was to young to get a real job. Soon, however, a rival group attacked him. He was nearly killed, lost all money, and was eventually taken in by another killer. This killer trained him and took jobs from the man until the day that he had a heart attack. His mentor, once passed, caused him to freelance. He became one of the most feared people in the US, making the top ten most wanted list with a record of three hundred and twenty one accounted murders, and numerous missing men and women before the collapse. This man has training in two martial arts: Ninjitsu and Tai Chi (For focusing the mind). In this ten years of time he learnt many useful athletic abilities. nothing superman, but he can run a decent speed for about a mile, get around objects that others couldn't (with Parkour) and fight viciously. His education was continued after his training was complete, as he had gained his high school education at the age of twenty. At the age of twenty one, when he began his killing career, he had surgery on all ten of his fingers. The finger pads were cut into triangular pieces and then placed back on. This gave him an irregular and strange fingerprint, making it impossible to identify who the 'Ghost of Manhattan' is.

Skills/Abilities: He has mastered only one martial art. This martial art requires little effort, but is extremely deadly. A wonderful way to make it SEEM like a knockout, but instead a kill. He has mastered Ninjitsu. By using this martial art, he is also using science to defeat his targets. Ninjitsu requires a great deal of knowledge of the body's nervous system and skeleton in order to short circuit nerve bundles or break limbs using their joints. He's not the fastest, nor is he the strongest, but he can deliver a deadly blow. He is usually known as a distance agent, using his FNH Ballista to take out targets from a distance and avoid confrontation. However, he is less often known to be a hit-and-run agent. Walking up, stab, walking away. When in a chase, he is good at stealth, blending into the crowd with relative ease and letting those who are after him pass by, or even get to hard to reach areas with parkour (Which he is pretty good at, not a master, but pretty good). His favored weapon is the aforementioned FNH Ballista, but he also like to use his two knifes if in a fight or when the target is drunk, alone, or in an area where the kill wont be noticed.

It wasn't until one of his close friends in collage told him that his aunt, who lived in the aria, had been mugged that he made his name out side the field of in vitro propagation.

He had caught the mugger attempting to sell fake Rolex watches on the street because he had thrown several broken watches away in a nearby trash receptacle.

Now, 5 years later he lives at his parents store and works as a PI as his day job.

Skills/abilities: Seymour has photographic memory and has trained himself to always be aware and analyzing his surroundings, so it is very hard to sneak up on him. This makes him very good as picking people out as possible threats or suspects, and is usually correct. However, he isn't at all good at physical combat and can be easily overpowered.

Appearance: The first thing one would notice about Masha is that she seems years, if not decades, older than she actually is. Web-like strandes of wrinkled skin speak of hardship and loneliness as they sit, unmoving, upon her stonelike face. Masha’s eyes, a deep gray-blue, are not by any means fierce or angry - on the contrary, they seem almost friendly, but if any kindness is to be offered then it is the dangerous, two-edged kind, for Masha has lived far too long in far too few years to pursue anything but her own goals.

She stands at approximately five-foot-eight-inches tall. Her black hair, interspersed by strands of gray, hangs in unkempt tangles from her head, tied up in back by a modest black band. Masha’s weary face is thin and with prominent cheekbones, and her intelligent eyes are sunken into her wrinkled brow.

Masha dresses in an old green military trenchcoat and cotton trousers. She wears leather gloves and large brown work boots, each encrusted with decades of dirt and wear – ancient and respected, they are older than she is. Altogether, though her figure is by no means imposing or threatening, Masha commands a passive aura of respect that emanates from her stance, her wordless gaze, her very being; simply being in the same room gives one a sense of inferiority, as if all of their accomplishments and hardships simply fade away under the sheer power of that stagnant, unreadable facade, enhanced by the all-knowing stare of those piercing gray-blue eyes.

When traveling in public necessitates itself, Masha may commonly wear a simple gray suit under a small jacket.

Personality: If it was not already gathered, Masha is not an overly friendly or social character. She categorizes all aspects of life into tactical necessities and unnecessary vanities. This is not, however, to say that Masha is a cruel or heartless person. To go out of one’s way to instill destruction or misery is her definition of evil; to pursue one’s goals no matter the cost is her definition of good.

When amongst friends and subordinates, Masha speaks with a factual and scientific air, speaking only when necessary. Among enemies, Masha’s words seem kind – laced with deception, weaving a web of ignorance so as to allow those present to drastically misjudge her. If Masha is unsure of the alignment of those around her, she may be openly curious, but will never commit to one opinion or another.

All in all, Masha is calculating yet not cold, merciful yet not overly so. She takes but little pleasure from life, and this from the thrill of a hard-earned victory. Her marriage was an emotionless and purely politically-beneficial affair, and her husband has since passed away from a combination of lung cancer, a desolate liver, and sheer neglect.

Biography: Masha grew up in a strict household, which was, for better or worse, conservative in rules of etiquette and proper upbringing. Consequentially, Masha found fitting in with social crowds a difficulty, and her insufficiencies in arithmetic and schoolwork in general only served to ostracize her further. Masha grew up, mentally, via her weekly excursions, through which she developed a picture of the city and surrounding countryside – a blessed wilderness - and nursed ideas which her family’s society would have scoffed at. It was this practice of escaping into the wilderness that, more than anything, secured Masha’s success in the real world. Present-day, she is reserved and contemplative, but can be blunt and stubborn when engaged in conversation – she takes a long time to make up her mind, but once decided upon, her opinion will rarely be altered.

At the age of seventeen, Masha – adopting a new identity name and severing all connections with her family - joined the armed forces and quickly advanced in rank, due to both traditional and slightly less respectable means. To ensure that such means were never uncovered, she was wont to immigrate to the United States, and – after spending a few years as an officer of the NYPD – came across an opportunity to carve out a better life for herself as an assassin, and has worked as such ever since.

Masha is knowledgeable in wilderness survival and knows enough about firearms to be able to operate, and even assemble, most standard-issue models with considerable efficiency. Her strength and stamina are unusual for a woman her age, but nothing incredibly remarkable. Tactically, she is a powerful leader, putting greater interest in the well-being of the many yet failing to see the point of caring for the survival of the few – reasoning that they are responsible for their own lives. After all, if she was able to survive her childhood, and if her soldiers cannot, then they do not deserve the luxury of salvation.

Skills/Abilities: Sharpshooting, wilderness survival, firearm mechanics, evasion

Other: Masha keeps close to her, at all reasonable times, her weapon of choice - being a well-preserved Mosin Nagant M44 bolt-action rifle. Her pseudonym is derived a character of Slavic myth. (*le anonymousse*)

More assassins wouldn't be to bad, that way theres enough cases to go around and no one has to fight over them. But if your character is a PI or NYPD, that would be fine to. More competition.

It'll be good, either way. I just wanted to make sure we had at least one of each, which we do. You can have an assassin, doesn't matter to me. With a PI like God-mod's character running around, I'd actually prefer to have lots of assassins.

Yeah, that way it would be more of a candy shop, we can pick and choose, not just take whatever shows up, if it shows up at all. Also, would be be horrible if Seymour frequently stuck his noes into NYPD cases?

Don't you think it would be boring if he didn't? That's part of the rivalry, because the NYPD doesn't like PI's doing that, and they do it anyway. It's a race to catch the crook before the other does.

Jakal stands at 5'11 and weighs about 155 pounds. He wears a dark grey hoodie with a leather jacket over it. His eyes are rather intimidating, icy blue with small pupils, like pinpricks of black surrounded by sheets of ice. He has tribal tattoos on both of his forearms, and has a large and jagged scar running from his shoulder to his waist. He is lean, toned, and wiry with muscle.

Personality: Jakal is the kind of person that will kill you without a second thought and then move onto the next guy. Silent and efficient. However, he is more of a "In the shadows" specialist. He works in the dark, and strikes when the target is at it's weakest. He is not someone that you want on your bad side. He emanates a darker aura and is a very intimidating person, putting off men that would normally try and pick a fight with him. He isn't one to talk, and mind's his own business until someone disturbs him from his peace. He doesn't go and take in detail, he gets in and gets out. It's why he's so good at his job. There's no emotion or mercy, just a bullet to the head. However, he is only like this because he was raised so badly, he has had absolutely no love in his life. His mother killed herself, and his father beat him up. Kids he was around when he did go to school (Before he ran, see: Biography) thought of him as a freak and avoided him. He had no friends, no real mother, no real father, no siblings. The closest he ever got was the man who took him in and trained him (See: Biography) and no love was shown there. Just a bed, two meals a day, and training. He shows little emotion other than hate and anger, which is shown every once in a while when the target fights back, or when something gets in the way. His humor is rarely shown, but when it is, it's a simple smile and the nod of a head. If you get that, it means he likes the joke. He doesn't know many things besides the education he did get while in his high school and training. He cant really cook, he can't do chemistry, he cant socialize, he doesn't know how to do much besides kill.

Biography: His childhood was a very troubled one, raised by an alcoholic mother, and an abusive father. His mother finally filed a divorcee and his father's crime became apparent. His father, blaming it on him, slashed his back with a steak knife. The father was sent to jail soon after, and his mother to rehab. He was sent to the hospital. At this time, he was eight years old, and no longer spoke a word. When he recovered, he learned his mother had committed suicide, and his father was still in the law's custody. He was put up for adoption. Until he was twelve, he was sent from foster family to foster family, and began to grow darker and darker. Never doing drugs or drinking, but he became a feared person, his foster families wouldn't dare talk to him. By the age of fourteen, he was gone. He unwillingly became a hitman, killing others for money, and using the earnings to keep up rent in an apartment and for food because he was to young to get a real job. Soon, however, a rival group attacked him. He was nearly killed, lost all money, and was eventually taken in by another killer. This killer trained him and took jobs from the man until the day that he had a heart attack. His mentor, once passed, caused him to freelance. He became one of the most feared people in the US, making the top ten most wanted list with a record of three hundred and twenty one accounted murders, and numerous missing men and women before the collapse. This man has training in two martial arts: Ninjitsu and Tai Chi (For focusing the mind). In this ten years of time he learnt many useful athletic abilities. nothing superman, but he can run a decent speed for about a mile, get around objects that others couldn't (with Parkour) and fight viciously. His education was continued after his training was complete, as he had gained his high school education at the age of twenty. At the age of twenty one, when he began his killing career, he had surgery on all ten of his fingers. The finger pads were cut into triangular pieces and then placed back on. This gave him an irregular and strange fingerprint, making it impossible to identify who the 'Ghost of Manhattan' is.

Skills/Abilities: He has mastered only one martial art. This martial art requires little effort, but is extremely deadly. A wonderful way to make it SEEM like a knockout, but instead a kill. He has mastered Ninjitsu. By using this martial art, he is also using science to defeat his targets. Ninjitsu requires a great deal of knowledge of the body's nervous system and skeleton in order to short circuit nerve bundles or break limbs using their joints. He's not the fastest, nor is he the strongest, but he can deliver a deadly blow. He is usually known as a distance agent, using his FNH Ballista to take out targets from a distance and avoid confrontation. However, he is less often known to be a hit-and-run agent. Walking up, stab, walking away. When in a chase, he is good at stealth, blending into the crowd with relative ease and letting those who are after him pass by, or even get to hard to reach areas with parkour (Which he is pretty good at, not a master, but pretty good). His favored weapon is the aforementioned FNH Ballista, but he also like to use his two knifes if in a fight or when the target is drunk, alone, or in an area where the kill wont be noticed.
