Maxxtoron presents:

rendeer rendeer rendeer A VERY ROLEPLEX CHRISTMAS rendeer rendeer rendeer

It was that time of year in the land of Roleplex. The snow was falling and the Christmas trees were being decorated. Maxx, a roleplex regular, was so caught up in the holiday cheer that he decided to host a Christmas party, inviting all of the role playing characters to come, no sheet required. He had his Christmas party in a massive log cabin in the Roleplex Woods, where the Christmas trees grew and were dying to be decorated why tinsel and all assortments of ornaments. He hired a group if snowmen to be waiters, and set up three great wooden tables in the middle if the snowy clearing. Several Rune Guardians were in the cabin's kitchen, ready to make any food that the characters wanted with their magic.

At first, not many people showed up. 50% Mitch came with his good friend Black Mamba, but half zombies and snakes weren't exactly company. But, like the grinch's heart, the party began to grow and grow. Toni the Seer came, escorting his date, the beautiful Anger Poussierre, who's ugly pale skin and shot-up veins were replaced with beautiful milky white skin that complemented her wings, which were white again. Her face was no longer ugly and sad, but was now happy and full of life.

Raphael and Claire showed up, where they sat under a spring if Mistletoe and went at it. The party was just shaping up.

Rules:

1. No fighting; this is a party, not a boxing match.
2. Follow forum guidelines.
3. No meta gaming, power playing. Et cetera et cetera.
4. Only characters from Roleplex are allowed, but you can use any character from any rp.
5. You must use your own character.
6. No cursing or sex.
7. Have fun!

If you guys think we need an OOC, I'll make one, but we probably won't.

A Very Roleplex Christmas Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Very Roleplex Christmas    A Very Roleplex Christmas EmptySun Dec 09, 2012 5:59 pm

"Zared! Watch it! You're going to crash into me if you don't stop flying in circles!" Iris growled, only half-serious. She and Zared were both dragons, and as such, were currently not communicating with real words, but growls, roars, snorts, and hisses. Iris was a gigantic, with a wingspan exactly four times her length, and Zared was much smaller, with a wingspan around three times his own length. Although Iris was very fast, Zared's smaller size and much more aerodynamic shape made him capable of moving faster. He was so fast, in fact, that if he entered a dive, he would be able to break the sound barrier. He also had the hottest flames of any dragon, although he wouldn't dare challenge Iris' strength. She could breathe fire, and ice as well. That was because although she was seemingly a dragon, she was actually only one-fourth that species. She was also a fourth Seer, a Fourth Barbegazi, and a Fourth Demon...but she didn't like to think about her demon heritage. In fact, she would rather abandon it. That was why she celebrated Christmas.

In the whole crazy reality, she and several others had received an invitation in her world, which had taken the shape of a beautifully written letter, which smelled wonderfully of a combination of Cinnamon, Spruce, Gingerbread, and just about any other holiday scent that filled someone with cheer. She had been in the middle of a war, but strangely, the letter said time would freeze in their world. They could be at the party, and nobody would know they had been gone when they returned. When she and Zared had accepted, it opened up a bright blue portal with gentle snowfall coming from it, and they had changed and flown through them. They wound up meeting half-way to the cabin, and Zared, the Beta dragon, always eager to show his skill to the Alpha, had begun to circle around her while she flew in an unusually playful manner.

"Oh, lighten up! It's a Christmas Party!" Iris looked over at him, "When since are you the person telling people to lighten up?" Zared stopped flying in circles and came up next to her, "Since it's Christmas and we don't have to worry about anything here!" He snorted. The dragon rolled her amber eyes, "You confound me." She said simply. They were almost there.

Kirra had been surprised when time had frozen itself, and out of nowhere a letter appeared. When she had sniffed it, it had smelled like Christmas, but there was another scent that made her believe it was custom-made. It had contained a very small toy shaped like a Christmas tree, that had been infused with catnip. She had accepted the invitation to a Christmas party, and out of nowhere, a small, cat-sized portal, which seemed to have led into a snowy forest, had appeared. She had first taken the time to transform into a Scottish Wildcat, a small wild cat species that resembled a dark furred, heavy-built domestic tabby, so as to protect against the cold, and then padded through, clutching the catnip toy in her mouth. Strangely, the painful hunger that usually accompanied transformations was mercifully absent.

Now, she was riding on the back a gigantic creature who called himself Angus, who was from the same world as her, and had arrived after a similar occurrence. He, too, had received a gift. However, unlike her tree-shaped catnip toy, he had gotten a large bone, possibly part of the leg of an Elk, on which a large amount of the meat had not been removed. It had also been smoked on what appeared to be hickory wood, alongside what smelled like roasted Chestnuts, and lightly seasoned with what she thought might be a sprinkling of eggnog. It also had on one end a bow, made from a silky red fabric. It must have tasted wonderful, for Angus did not bother carrying it in one of his paws, or his gorilla hand, but rather in his mouth, unlike Kirra, who didn't possess the dexterity to handle her gift.

Looking at the ribbon on the bone, she somewhat wished she had a pretty ribbon of her own. Even though in her current appearance, she could suffice for the party, she felt inadequately dressed for the party. A ribbon tied around her neck would have been a nice touch. As she watched, she saw a cabin beneath them. She spoke, and as it had since she had arrived, her voice came out in words, rather than a meow, as she had discovered earlier. "Hey! There's the cabin down there!" She exclaimed. Angus looked down, "I see it!" He said, past the bone in his mouth. He circled a few times, and just as he started to descend, what appeared to be a Shire Horse formed from gentle winds and sparkling snowflakes, its eyes and heart glowing with gentle blue light, trotted past on the air. Coming to rest on the ground, but maintaining its shape in form. It nodded its head at them, and they landed, Kirra getting off Angus' back. "Hello!" Kirra meowed, surprisingly social. The Shire Horse creature nodded its head and pawed the ground, before the snow around it dissipated, leaving what appeared to be a giant basketball-sized clam, with a greyish shell. It popped open, and a somewhat ugly face appeared, with transparent slimy skin that allowed her to see blue blood veins and its skull. She felt for a moment revulsion, before something strange happened.

A snowy wind blew in out of nowhere, and whirled around the creature, temporarily concealing it from view with snow. When it rushed away, Kirra was shocked by the sudden change that had occurred. The Creature's veins were no longer visible, nor the bones that formed it's body. It's body was now solid in appearance, with a texture much like a pearl. It still had the large stomach that glowed blue, and the leech-like tentacles, however, it also had other fragments of light in it, ranging from green, blue, red, and yellow. It appeared to be made of rainbow opal, and it now looked not hideous, but merely unique in appearance. The outside of its shell had changed to look like the inside, and it now sparkled with the colors of blue, green, and purple. A bright green and red bow had appeared between the two halves, so that when it closed, it would be decorated. Kirra gasped.

The creature looked at its wings, surprised by their new appearance and the fragments of beautiful color, "I can't believe it!" It's voice was high-pitched, perhaps it might have once been considered eerie by some, but there was a bell-like chime to it that must have also resulted from the transformation that negated any fear it might have caused. Kirra shook her head, "I can't believe it, either." She said. The Creature looked at her, "Err, anyway, I'm Storm, what's your name?" Kirra's tail flicked playfully, "I'm Kirra, and this is Angus." Angus dipped his head, nodding, "Pleased to meet you." He said, his voice a mere whisper. When he said this, another cloud of snow appeared, this time whirling around Kirra. When it dissipated, she had a bright red ribbon around her neck. "A ribbon!" She reached up to touch it with her paw, "How did it know!" She thought aloud, now wondering if the wind was alive. Storm shook her head from her shell, "I think it's just Christmas magic." She said. There was a pause, before Angus and Kirra nodded in agreement, "Christmas magic."

A roar sounded from above, and they looked up to see two dragons, one of them large enough to make Angus seem small, circling around the cabin, clearly looking for a place to land. The large one was black, or perhaps mixed reds and blues that were too dark to have much color. It had white markings on the edges of its wings, the tips of its tail, and its face, making it appear to have a skull on its head. Its horns were polished, and were shaped like a bull's. The other one was black with bright yellow markings. They eventually found a spot, and landed. One changed into a strange girl with white hair, large feet, and amber eyes, while the other changed into a somewhat short boy in a black leather jacket, with platinum blonde hair, and bright yellow eyes. "We're not late, are we?" The girl asked, somewhat worried. Kirra shook her head, "No, I think we're on time." The boy nodded, raising one eyebrow. "Sorry, it's just We're not used to this as much. Anyway, I'm Zared, and this is Iris." Kirra nodded, "Pleased to meet both of you." She said, setting down her catnip toy. She looked at the door, "You think anyone is going to let us in?"

PostSubject: Re: A Very Roleplex Christmas    A Very Roleplex Christmas EmptySun Dec 09, 2012 6:47 pm

The Watcher was quite surprised when time froze around him. He had been fighting a group of armed robbers, and a bullet was a quarter inch from his head. The smell if freshly-baked gingerbread filled the air, and the vigilante followed the smell to a Christmas tree-shaped card that was sitting on a table in the dark room he was in. Next to it was a jar of freshly-churned apple butter, like his wife had given him every year for Christmas. A small year welled up in her eye as he opened the jar's lid and smelled the sweet aromas of cinnamon and apple spice. He read the invitation;

Dear John,

I am having a Christmas party in the Roleplex woods and you are invited. Your world will remain frozen until you leave the party, after which you will return to your normal life. There will be music, dancing, a Christmas tree decorating contest, and even a free buffet. Please walk through the door to your right if you wish to attend.

Sincerely,

Maxx Toron

The Watcher grabbed the apple butter, put it in his backpack, and walked through the door, where he found himself walking out if a wardrobe in the middle of a snow-coveted wood that smelled of pine sap and Christmas. He wandered through the woods, looking at the beautiful snow-coveted trees. He dropped his shot gun somewhere on the path along with his pistols.

Down tbe path he went until he got to the clearing where everyone else was. He sat down at one of the long tables, where a plate of steamed blue crabs, seasoned with Old Bay appeared in front of him accompanied by a Natty Boh beer. He smiled and grabbed a crab, breaking the claws open like a pro and taking a bite of the succulent crab meat.

Angel say down next to Tony, and a large salad with freshly picked cranberries and roasted chestnuts on it. She smiled, but then looked down, her wings drooping.

"what's wrong angel?" Tony asked his beautiful young date.

"I don't know," she said, sighing "I don't deserve all this..."

"yes you do, angel," Tony said, putting a hand on her shoulder "you're a good girl with a few problems".

"no I'm not!" she cried out "I'm a monster!"

"you're not a monster dear." Tony took a drink of his egg nog, and continued "you just made some bad decisions. Everything will be okay. Just try to have fun. Please? For me?"

She smiled and snuggled up to Tony, cuddling him with her soft wings. "Fine," she laughed "but it's just because I love you."

"and I love you too sweetie!" they snuggled, and The Watcher threw up some in his mouth. He hated all that romantic crap.

PostSubject: Re: A Very Roleplex Christmas    A Very Roleplex Christmas EmptySun Dec 09, 2012 7:01 pm

Kirra huffed a little, "Okay, If they're going to not pay attention to the people out here, then I'm going to have to resort to a cat's lowest trick." Zared raised an eyebrow for the second time today at her, "Bringing the people a present?" By present, he meant going and bringing in a dead mouse or bird. Kirra looked at him, "No, the 'Let me in!' one." She padded up to the door, and got on her hind paws, leaning her front ones on the door. She unsheathed her claws, and started scratching, her meowing as loudly as she possibly could, now sounding as a cat should. Angus looked at Zared and Iris, seeming to shrug, before he lifted his head and howled, just like a wolf, and then started launching into a combination of howling and barking, like a dog. Between him and the cat, they managed to cause a lot of ruckus outside the cabin. For some reason, it didn't seem to occur to someone that the door might be open.

That was when the snowman opened the door, holding a platter, and if it was possible, the little pebbles that made his mouth seemed to form a perplexed expression. Kirra jumped back, hissing a little, before he fur smoothed out. "Oh...the door was open?" She asked. The Snowman paused, before nodding. He shuffled aside, to let them in. Kirra picked up her cat toy and padded in, her pelt coated slightly with snowflakes, and the red ribbon around her neck gave her a unique sense of pride. Angus came in next, the Snowman was mindful of his horns and length, so as to not slam the door on his tail. Iris and Zared started to go in, before pausing to look at Storm, "Aren't you coming?" Iris asked. Storm frowned, "I cannot move fast unless I'm outside my shell, and that's a little bit dangerous. I can't leave it out here." Zared sighed, walked over, and picked up the shell, grunting as he did so, "No wonder! How much does this thing weigh?" Storm shook her head, "I don't know, but certainly a lot." Zared huffed, adjusted it in his hands, and carried Storm and her shell inside, while the Snowman closed the door behind him.

Maxx was in the large living room, sitting in a chair by the grand stone fireplace. Above the mantle was a cockatrice head that seemed to move around. It hissed as it saw the cat walk in.

"ooh! Food! SSS!" the cockatrice said.

"oh shut up you stupid snake!" Maxx threw a dead mouse at it, which the beast gobbled up. Maxx got up and signaled to a snowman, who brought three mugs of hot chocolate, a bowl of milk, and a ball of yarn to the newcomers.

"welcome to the party everyone!" Maxx said, patting the kitty on the head and scratching it behind the ear. "Aw! I don't remember inviting this cute little kitty!"

"Maxx, Dude," Edgar said from where he was sitting by the fire "that's Kirra".

"yikes!" he withdrew his hand from the cat as if it burned him. "sorry babe. Completely skipped my mind!"

Kirra's ears flattened as she looked at the bowl of milk. In a flat voice, she said, "You should probably know that cats drinking milk is a huge myth that can actually endanger someone's health. Cats are lactose intolerant, and If I play with yarn, I might develop Pica. I might play with cat toys, but I must be mindful of my own health. I'll play with rubber balls and most stuffed animals, but not yarn." She seemed more disturbed by the yarn and the milk than by the act of Maxx scratching her ears. Iris frowned, "I didn't know that." Kirra nodded, "Probably, I still don't know who came up with that myth."

Zared set the giant clam down on a stool, and Storm popped out of her shell, "Hello everyone." She said. She looked around, scanning the various faces. Eventually, she looked at the cockatrice head, which was basically the giant head of a rooster. For some reason, this confused her, "How can a rooster be that large?" She asked. Zared looked at it, "That's not a rooster, that's a Cockatrice." Storm frowned, "I thought those were lizards." Iris shook her head, "No, the lizards are basilisks. They're sort of reversed. If a chicken egg does not have a yolk when it is laid, then that egg is referred to as a Cock egg, that's from when people didn't know anything about biology. That's what a cockatrice hatches from. The egg has to be incubated by a toad or lizard, and a cockatrice is born. Obviously, a basilisk is the egg of a snake, toad, or lizard, that is incubated by a chicken." Storm frowned even deeper, "That's...weird..." She said. Iris nodded, "Yeah, unfortunately, that's not the worst of it. People were pretty superstitious. If they found an egg without a yolk, they had to throw it over the roof of their house, otherwise, the egg wouldn't be smashed...that part is what really makes no sense."

Angus growled a little, "Thank you for the lesson in differences between Cockatrices and Basilisks, but I think we'd rather talk about something else." His voice, as usual, was barely audible.

"wait, seriously?" Kirra and these dragons had only been in his house for two minutes and his head was already spinning.

"well then," Maxx said, sending the snowman away with the milk and yarn, "what would you like to drink?" he paused for a moment, and then said "wait, don't you have a humanoid form?" Edgar just sighed and sipped his hot chocolate.

"who asked you Ed?" Maxx yelled over his shoulder.

"sorry..." the hipster serial killer said, sitting back in his chair.

Meanwhile, Raphael staggered into the room, his clothes messed up and his face covered in kissed lipstick kiss marks, followed by Claire, who was wearing a short red velvet dress with fuzzy trim (line a santa hat) wearing a Santa hat. Just about ever guy in the room's jaw hit the ground as she walked in.

"good lord Claire!" Maxx hollered at her "what the hell are you wearing?" Claire blushed and sat down in a comfy chair in front of the fire, her legs crossed and a mug of hot chocolate in her hand.

"just a little somethin' somethin'!"She laughed.

"there are teenagers on the beach who wear more clothing than that!"

"you know you love it!" she seductively responded.

"Looking pretty sexy baby." Edgar called out "why don't you come sit over here?" Claire blushed and sat on Edgar's lap, leaning back and laying her head on his shoulder. Raphael would have said something had he not have seen his father sit down at the dining room table.

"dad!" The Watcher looked up and smiled. He gestures to the seat next to him, and a natty boh and a plate of steamed crabs appeared.

PostSubject: Re: A Very Roleplex Christmas    A Very Roleplex Christmas EmptySun Dec 09, 2012 8:39 pm

(If that was happening in real life and I was present, this would be my own reaction)

Angus looked away, using his right arm to pinch the bridge of his snout with his gorilla thumb and forefinger, shaking his head with disdain. He was a very reserved person, who spent a lot of time around children, whether it be playing with them or protecting them. He didn't like to be around people that wore such clothing. It deeply disturbed him, as he didn't understand why someone would dress in such a way for a Christmas party. There were some people in the world that wanted to keep their sense of decency.

Surprisingly, Zared, Iris, and Storm reacted in the same way, averting or covering their eyes, and Storm going so far as to withdraw back into her shell and closing it. Kirra bristled a little, padding a distance away, now uneasy. It was clear that Claire's choice of clothing was not to their liking. They stood their awkwardly before Kirra hissed, "This is a Christmas party, for goodness sake!" She put her paws over her face.

Maxx sighed and grabbed Claire off of Edgar's lap, scolding her.

"This is a Christmas party, not a strip club!" he yelled "Will you please go change into something else!? You're offending the guests!" Claire hissed and walked into the other room, grumbling some very not nice things.

"I am so sorry about that," Maxx said, turning to Kirra, Angus, Storm, and the others "I don't know what has gotten into Claire lately. She's normally not like this..." He shrugged and sat back down in his chair in front of the fire.

---

Claire walked up to the second floor of the log cabin and into a bedroom, where she sat on the bed and cried. She didn't mean to offend anyone, she just wanted to stand out.

She took off the skimpy dress and put a bath robe on, after which she sorted through her suitcase, trying to find something decent to wear.

Angel heard the dispute and fluttered away from Tony, saying that she'd be back in a second. She followed Claire up the steps and knocked on her door gently.

"come in," Claire sniffled. The door opened and Angel walked in.

"Oh, hey." Claire turned around and looked out the window into the cold night.

"Well somebody's not in a very good mood". she mused walking over to her nemesis.

"If you're just hear to antagonize me, then hit the freaking road. I've already made a fool of myself!"

Angel flew across the room on her wings and landed next to Claire

"Now why would I want to antagonize you?" Angel mused "why would I EVER do such a thing?"

"Why do you hate me so much?" Claire screamed, her voice distorted by the electricity she was generating "Why does everyone hate me so much?"

"You know," Angel put a hand around Claire's shoulders, ignoring the surge of static electricity "I don't hate you".

"Yes you do! You're my nemesis!"

"I never said I wanted to be your nemesis. You did that by beating my family up".

"That fat fool deserved it".

"I know. It was funny when we fished him out of the water and he flopped up and down like a fish".

"you are so messed up Angel". the two girls laughed. Claire sighed again and put her head down, looking at the despicable red dress that was laying on the ground.

"Why did I have to wear that stupid thing?" Claire mumbled.

"Hey, at least Raphael liked it!" Angel laughed.

"You little spy!"

"Hey! I wasn't spying! It was hard to miss! You guys made out for like an hour! I think that's a new record!"

"Shut up!" Claire laughed again, which was odd, because arch enemies aren't supposed to make you laugh. "I guess I just wanted everyone to like me and I ended up making everyone not like me."

"Well babe, the way I see it, who cares if everyone likes you? I mean, if you walk around trying to get everyone to be your friend, then you'll end up like me with no friends and a needle in your arm".

"Hey, you have friends!"

"yeah, who are drug dealers and serial killers".

"At least you have someone... Nobody likes me".

"They like you, you're just going out of your way to get people who already like you to like you".

"Maybe you're right". Claire got up and walked to the window, Angel behind her. "Thanks angel".

"No problem Claire".

"Now you'd better get out of here because I'm about to change my clothes and I'm not sure how good an idea it is to do that in front of my arch enemy".

"Good idea," Angel laughed and flew across the room.

"Oh and Angel!" Claire called out.

"Yeah?"

"I hate you".

Angel laughed again.

"I hate you too Claire".

After Claire had left, people stopped covering their eyes. Angus sighed with relief, "Thank goodness. I don't like to sound harsh, but that was incredibly disturbing." He said. Kirra snorted, "It's not good to draw attention like that. Me? I turn into dangerous animals and people launch into hysterics. I might actually prefer that attention, some might say. Not normally social, although this party is an exception to the rule, just because." Angus looked at her, "Except that not everyone prefers to be alone. I can't go anywhere hardly, without someone seeing me, and then screaming in terror. The only people who aren't afraid of me, are the little children I protect." Kirra looked up at him sharply, "You don't know me." She hissed, standing up, somewhat formidable, despite her small size. "You don't seem to have a problem, but I do. I have to be alone, because outside this dimension, or whatever it is, I'm not in complete control. I have to live in fear of killing someone because I mistook them for prey."

Storm hissed from her shell, "My life is probably worse than yours. You are free, and it does not cost someone else their lives, or their freedom. It must cost people their power, and maybe even their safety, for me to truly be free. This dimension is the only place that I feel safe enough to leave my shell and speak with people. I can breathe, because it is snowing, and my storms are simply gentle snowfall. Let us not focus on what we see in our world, but the cheer in this one."

From out of the corner, Edgar chuckled darkly.

"At least you guys don't cause people to kill themselves." he said "Everywhere I go, people literally run from me. I've lost mutants before because I scare them literally to death", He stood up, and walked to the fire, where he hunched down and stoked the flames with an iron rod.

My life pretty much sucks." he said after a moment "I'm a wanted criminal for doing nothing but trying to find and protect mutant children. Without me, a lot of us would be dead or in prison. I've been blamed for murders and slandered on the internet. They say that I'm an inhumane beast that kills people and puts their organs in bags. I've never done such a thing and any guy who does that is a freaking weirdo!" He got up, and turned around, a bit of soot now on his white, detail-less face.

Down the steps came Angel, who fluttered into the room like a pixie with her white wings.

"hey guys!' she said happily, flying as high as the ceiling would allow her "Oh, I love these wings! My old ones were so weak and drab!"

"Yeah yeah Angel." Maxx said "go ahead, show off!"

"well then..." she flew back down and sat in the chair next to Maxx, folding her wings up "You don't have to be all prissy!"

"I'm sorry, did you just call me prissy?" Maxx said, standing up.

Angel rolled her eyes, mumbled "men" and, seeing the kitty, walked over and scratched it behind the ears.

"aw!" she sweetly said "I love little kitties! Who's cat is this?"

Edgar chuckled and propped his feet up. "This should be entertaining!" he chuckled.

Kirra batted Angels hand away with her paw, keeping her claws sheathed, but still hissing. She got up on her paws, turned to one side, and hissed again, her fur bristling. "If people don't stop mistaking me for a 'cute little kitty', I will gladly transform into something else with big teeth teeth and claws." She said. Her paws tingled with the implication of change. Angus shook his head, looking at Angel, "She's not a domestic cat. She's not under the classification of Felis catus. She's a Wild Cat, and that's a separate species altogether. She takes after the wild species more than the domestic breeds."

"Yikes!" Angel jumped a good ten feet into the air (because of her wings) and fluttered back to the ground, still shocked.

"But...but it's so cute!" she said, half fearing and half adoring Kirra. She murmured a slight "aw" and sat back down in a love seat, soon to be accompanied by Tony, who sat next to her.

Claire came down the stairs wearing a pair of black jeans with a Metallica concert tee shirt and her studded jacket. She walked into the room silently and sat down in the chair farthest from the fire, not wanting to draw attention to herself. Maxx, meanwhile, got bored with the mutants fighitng eachother and hit a button on a tv remote next to him. The cockatrice head cried out as it was retracted into the wall and replaced by a comically large flatscreen Tv, which was playing a football game.

"Oh christmas," he said, sipping his hot chocolate and watching the game. Angel rolled her eyes and instead entertained herself by staring at Tony dreamily. Edgar chuckled at the couple and walked outside, still a bit shaken from his story.

Kirra sighed, picked up her catnip toy, and carried it to the far side of the room, sitting down and batting it between her paws. Angus, meanwhile, coiled up in the corner, chewing on his bone. Eventually, Storm's shell popped open again, and her tail stretched out, dragging it around the room, which was much easier thanks to the smooth flooring. She eventually contented to dragging herself around in circles. In reality, none of the three mutants had any idea how to play football. Zared and Iris, who had never played football a day in their lives, sat down and began debating about Anubis and his Wife and Daughter, as they were getting ready to arrive at the secret base in their world, and nobody knew what they were going to do.

Through the snowy woods came what looked like a pile of purple and black raven feathers that was The Raven. The old sage walked with a heavy knotted walking staff and held a vial of Essence of Hallelujah in his hand, a potion given to him for Christmas by Maxx. The potion had the power to heal any wound, mortal or non, and smelled of freshly-baked gingerbread.

He limped through the forest and into the cabin, where he saw the dragons.

"Merry Christmas, seers." the old man said when he saw them.

Iris and Zared exchanged glances, "Uh, we're not Seers, well, I'm one-fourth Seer, but Zared's a dragon, and I'm for the most part a Dragon, Demon, and Barbegazi." Iris frowned, before shaking her head, "On the demon part, I don't want to hear it. I can celebrate Christmas, too!" Zared glanced at her, "Seriously, if you can around this sort of celebration, I'm surprised you're even worried about what others think." Iris looked at him, before sighing, "Well, being a hybrid isn't easy, to begin with. It's already bad enough without factoring the demonic part."

Ravencloak laughed a bit, and limped a bit closer.

"1/4 demon, you say? Interesting. You don't seem very demonic to me!" he laughed. "ah, but I'm just an elderly sage. My eyes are going, you see!" he chuckled again and sat down on a stool near the door. He was tired from his walk.
