Seems We've picked up a bit of activity.

Well I got the weekend off from work. So I'm happy. 3 day weekend is nice. Plus I get holiday pay for Monday.

Say my Dad Today. (wrote this at 11:41 PM). and visited the family.

Fourth of July is soon.

Let's see, the wave has been turned into a parody of the cookie monster, and there's a Garydos swimming around in front of the island.

...You know, I was going to say Gyarados crossed with Gary, but originally, when I was typing that post, I wound up making a typo right off the bat, saying Garydos. Then I was getting ready to fix it, and then I was thinking to myself, "....wait a minute...."

Thus the typo was left as-is, because that was the whole point of the image.

I'm glad someone got it other than me.

...Now if I can just figure out what the cookie monster parody is, if there's not some pun relating to that, too. I have a feeling that, given the title of the painting, it's the Great Wave off of MeEatCookiegawa or something like that.

The name of the painting is The Great Wave off Kanagawa, so there must be some sort of bizarre wording that works.

...Or...I'm really overthinking things because 100% of artists intended to have some sort of special meaning behind their works, and clearly didn't just do something for the sake of laughs and to confuse people. Surely not.

Tbt when I was an admin and ran this joint solo for a year.
