If I were driving around town in my car, I'd want my car to look nice and clean so that I don't look like a piece of white trash. I am not implying that anyone here is white trash, of course.

It may be because I have a different perspective on things. My first year of roleplaying I was almost at the bottom of the chain around February of 010; but I was keen on learning and improving, and by the end of the year around November, I found myself hanging out in a roleplay with OsakaSun as if we were close friends, reminiscing of PatTheWanderer's roleplay "Medea". CENSORED, that roleplay was good. All of the players were great, the characters were unique, and the posts were large and full of detail.

I still want one of Sakky's dark roleplays. I haven't had one of those in a while. I miss her work.

And I can understand that, but its not an excuse.

OsakaSun is biologically female, but decided to make a recent transformation because she, or rather he, identifies better as being male. I still have a tendencies to refer to him as she however.

God-mod pretty much summed it up perfectly. I come home stressed every day, and by this point in my life worry I might have a form of anxiety. I like to roleplay with friends, and even though I like to learn, your criticism isn't entirely welcome to me. I'm not OsakaSun, and I probably won't ever manage to live up to the same expectations as him. He joined my RP once, but had to leave due to something involving the real world. He was amazingly talented with making character sheets. I haven't known anyone else to make a better cannibal/sadist personality. He definitely knows how to make a dark RP.

However, I would just like to RP, relax, and forget about my troubles in the real world once in awhile. Life is stressful, and I work to get my time here. I spent all of yesterday writing a response, because I just wanted to be left in peace. It's not too much to ask, but I wound up more stressed because I didn't actually RP at all.

What you said about your perspective, Lieo. I can cmpletely understand that. I was saying that it wasnt an excuse for tearing into us like an "Analitical robot". Your perspective of things can insult us if you are to frank about it. I HOPE I speak for all of us when I say that we are very able to take constructive critisizm. Just dont leave out the constructive bit.

Anyone is capable of taking constructive criticism and warping it into something that makes it sound destructive. I pointed out the problem, why it is a problem, and what you can do to resolve the problem. You can get stressed out over the fact that someone disagrees with the character, or you can take the advice.

Yes, I am frank. I don't believe in beating around the bushes or sugar-coating, being an analytical robot has nothing to do with it.

Oh, and Lieo, is there anything that you find inaccurate about my character? I don't mind blunt or even sometimes rude criticisms as long as they are valid.

There is no real problems with your character, but there's a thing or two about the sheet itself. The most noticeable one being his appearance. I have nothing against pictures, but it is only a snapshot of his face. I'd like to know what the rest of him looks like and what he wears. Get in-depth. I'd like some history on him and some build-up as to how he became a PI; and include his heritage too. His legal name seems a bit funny, so I'd like to know where he's from.

If anything, it's like you know who he is, but you don't actually know him. Overall, good character. Work on your sheet making abilities and try to be a little more thorough.

Yeah... I really need to work on my backstory development. I think the only character I have a good backstory for is my favorate duplistic oxymoron. And the only reson I have a back story from it, is because I've used it in several rollplays. I'll probably flesh out his history a lot more on my free time.

I'll post some more details appearance wise, normally I make my own pictures of the whole person but normally I take part in Sci-fi RPs so I'm used to drawing aliens so when I finnaly had to do a human I just got lazy and pulled a random picture.

As for the name, its latin based and is shortened versions of several carnivorous plant genera. I just have a really hard time calling someone a normal name because I've become acclimated to weird ones like Exo, Senka, Lamor, Xej, things like that. I'll edit a bit of clarification there as well.

Some of the names I choose aren't that weird, not the ones I come up with, I don't think. Senka is actually a real name, it's just not one you find in cultures that speak English. I actually go onto this baby names site and look for a name that I like and select it. I don't play 'mash the keyboard' or anything along those lines, although some people do just randomly press on their keyboards for names. I only do that for alien characters.

Dlak a keyboard mash, you'd change it a bit, so it'd spell Dulak, and that would be a real nonsense name, unless by a magical coincidence there really is a name from some culture like that.

I hope you dont mind me making plans to snipe New York's governor...
