| If you think about it, dimension manipulation is a little overpowered. You would probably be able to warp reality as well as alternate realities.
Unless you planned on actually warping the dimensions of objects, e.g. width, length, and depth. Might be restrictive on using it on other people though. Easily would be one of the most powerful abilities. | |

| The shape shifting power is definitely unique compared to Megan and Jackson.
Dimension manipulation depends if it's like what Lieo said.
If you're unsure about what powers to choose, how about all of them and make multiple characters? | |

| So I've outlined the power section, I know it technically doesn't belong here but I don't want it mistaken for a final sheet. - Spoiler:
Power Class: Anatomical, power or other, not sure where it fits best.
Power: Trace here is a shapeshifter and as the name would imply he is capable of transforming into things other than himself and back at will, as long as he has an idea of what he is turning into. Trace’s power also enables him to enjoy the powers and abilities of whatever he has taken the shape of, so if he turns in to a chair he doesn't need oxygen as long as he is a chair. In short Trace is able to functionally become whatever he turns into with the exception that his mentality is retained. There doesn't seem to be anything preventing Trace from changing from one form to the next in quick succession other than his personal preference not to do so.
Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: While Trace is capable to using the abilities and body whatever he turns into, he has to know what these abilities are in order to utilize them.Trace will also lack the level of skill whatever he has turned into possesses, normally he catches on pretty quick so with enough practice, he can be fairly decent but is never able to exceed the abilities of whatever he has turned into, so if Bob can jump five feet vertically don’t expect Trace-Bob to jump any higher than that. Another note is he can’t carry his own abilities over to another form with the exception of language, so if Bob can’t whistle, Trace can’t but if Bob only speaks Spanish, initially Trace will only be able to communicate in Spanish but eventually he would effectively be bi-lingual. Because Trace receives the body of whatever he changes into he has to adjust to using said body and weight distribution, along with this Trace is also burdened with the weaknesses of the form. If Trace stays in a form for too long that form’s mentality begins to override his own, this has happened once, luckily he was able to regain control of his body after a few months. It also seems that using the abilities of a form puts strain on his body once he has returned to normal with relation to the ability used.

| I want to argue that you can't copy someone's abilities (e.g. skills they've learned) while maintaining the same mindset, since learned skills aren't really biological and develop based on memory and practice. So because someone can play guitar, I can't imagine Trace would be able to do it since he's never picked up a guitar (or at least I assume so) and has the experiences the other person has had to learn from. It would make more sense for that to happen if you became an exact replica in both mind and body, memories and all (which would be a little overboard I think). Otherwise, you might just be masquerading in a costume that looks like the other person. Gradual mental assimilation? Sure, that make sense. And I reckon that as that process proceeds, you'd be able to pick up more of their skills and memories, but becomes harder to to revert back to your original form with your original power.
For the sake of balance in reference to memories, if we're wanting to go my route that is, it'd be more balanced if your character initially having access only to surface memories so that their entire history isn't revealed in one fell swoop. Surface memories being things like, what you thought when so and so did or said that thing, how hungry you were an hour ago, what that pain was like - basically very minor telepathy and empathy, but being able to extend into the past. Access to their memories would gradually become less restrictive the longer you are as that person due to the gradual assimilation.
I'm not telling you want to do, what you should do, what you ought to do, what I think should happen, what I want to happen, et cetera. I just thought I should contribute, so here's an open suggestion should you ever wish to abide by it. | |

| On the learned abilities, I agree Trace shouldn't be able to pick them up right off the bat, for example if Trace picked up a guitar as another character he might know a chord or two but he wouldn't really know what he's doing. Not sure if it was clear with the language thing but it existed as a means of preventing him from acting as a convenient translator. In short I have no plans on him using his powers to gain a skill out of convenience, if it's something he can learn on his own, partly due to an experimental nature I plan on giving Trace and he would find it unpractical as he would forget the information soon after. | |
